Once upon a time in a Little Street, the sun was rising and The Day Of The Child was beginning. A little boy of name “Nicky” was awaking and we went to see his dad after get up and leave his room. Daddy was reading the news when the kid spoke.

-Hey, Daddy.

-Hi, Nicky. You’re awake.

-Do you know what day is today?

-Yes, it’s The Day Of The Child. I know.

-You don’t have a present for me?

-No, but if you eat your breakfast, I gonna buy you something.

-Thanks, dad!

While Nicky was taking his meal, Daddy left the house and went to a little shop. It was a shop full of funny objects and antiques.
-Hello! Is there anybody here?

-Yes, sir. What can I do for you?

-I search a present for my son.

-I have not so much, but take a look, fella.

Daddy looked around the place and he has seen something calling his attention.

-Hey, and this box? What is it?

-I don’t know. My boss never talks about it.

-There is something inside?

-Maybe. Take it if you want to. It’s not for sale.

-Fine, bye.

Later of some minutes, the boss had returned to his little shop and he noticed that something was missing.

-I back and the box?

-Excuse me, Boss?

-Where is the box?

-I gave it away.

-What? You idiot! You have no idea of what there is inside!

-I don’t wanna know it.

Boss ran to search the box like if something wrong was coming on. When Nicky was watching TV, Daddy came home with the box.
-Happy Day Of The Child, Nicky.

-Daddy, you brought me a gift.

-Yes, for my little special boy.

-What there is in the box?

-I don’t know. It’s yours and I don’t care. Go to play.

Nicky went to the garden to see his gift inside of the box. He sat on the lawn and he took the chance now that he was alone. Nicky opened the box slowly with a smile on his face and when he opened the box, some strange force dragged Nicky to inside the box. He fell into some kind of dark hole. When Nicky touched the ground, he was in some strange and beautiful forest.

-Wow! Where I am?

-You are in my world.

Nicky looked back and he saw that the answer came from a little guy with a coloring body made of plastic and his head was a yellow ball with 2 points and a drawn smile. Nicky saw a butterfly made of wood and its wings were of cloth. The Butterfly came down in front of Nicky and it was wonderful for the kid.

-Nice, don’t you think?

-Yes, but who are you?

-Toy Boy and this is the world of Toy Land. Let me show you.

Nicky was after Toy Boy following him until they arrived to a park replete of giant toys. Cars, cubes, blocks, guns, etc.

-Wow! There are a lot of toys here.

-Yes, why you don’t better start to play?

Nicky played with the toys starting with a racquet, dices and shoot guns. All the toys he could find. Nicky never felt so joyful before and these toys were the best gift he could ever get. Toy Boy stayed by his side watching how Nicky was having fun with the toys and that made Toy Boy ask to Nicky only one thing.

-Do you like this place?

-Yes, why you ask?

-Because you can stay here.

-Really?

-Yes and play with these toys forever.

-That I will like.

While Daddy was wondering what is Nicky doing now, somebody knocked the door and Daddy saw him come in. Daddy felt invaded by the presences of this stranger and he wanted to find out who this intruder was.

-Hey, who are you?

-I’m the owner of the box.

-And why are you here?

-Sorry, sir, but I need the box back. Where is it?

-I gave it to my son. What happens?

-He could be in danger.

-What?

-There’s something evil in that box.

-What are you talking about?

-There is not time to explain.

-Just tell me what is comin’ on with that box!

Boss had no other option than speak. First he took something down of his cloths and spoke.

-Do you see this?

-It’s a wand and what?

-It’s to fight with what is inside of the box. There is a magic world that in fact is a diabolic world where children are kidnaped and later, they become in toys.
-Right.

Daddy took his phone and marked.

-What do you do? Sir

-Calling the madhouse.

-Listen, you’ve got to believe me!

-If what you want is the box, I will give it back to you.

Daddy took Boss to the back garden after hide his phone and they got there, they saw only the box. Nicky wasn’t there, he was missing.

-I don’t understand. Here is the box, but here is Nicky?

-He was alone with the box?

-Yes, why?

-I’m gonna in.

-Are you pretending that my son is inside of the box?

-I will show you.

Boss entered to the box, took Daddy’s hand and they both were swallow by the box. They fell into an interdimensional hole with cubes, coco birds, clocks, etc. floating around. At the bottom of the hole, Boss and Daddy touched the soft ground and Daddy stood up to see the strange place.

-What the hell is this?

-I told you.

-So my son is here. This is a nice place.

-Yes, but there are dangerous toys.

In that moment, a giant plastic snake came out from the ground.

-What the hell is that?

-They know we are here and won’t let us save the kid.

The giant snake gave his first move attacking the 2 visitants. Boss used his wand to hit the snake evading its attack while Daddy was thinking how to help. Daddy saw a big truck with a big circular saw ahead.
-Cool, a fight car.

While Boss was fighting with the snake shooting thunders to it from his wand, Daddy got into the truck and started it. He activated the saw and went on his way over the snake. Boss got back and the truck’s saw hit its target. It cut the snake by half leaving his superior part fall in the ground and then, it stopped moving.

-Hey, I gave it’s deserve.

-You shouldn’t do that.

In that moment, a giant tank came from the bushes and shot to the truck. The truck flew in the air and felt in the ground. Boss ran to it to find Daddy. Once he got there, Daddy came out of the truck fast and Boss helped his to stand up. Daddy heard some strong steps coming from somewhere and he looked around to see what that was.

-What the hell was that?

-A tank and a teddy bear are coming.

They began to run away from the tank, but after lose it, a big teddy bear came out from the forest and the duet turned around to escape. The bear was so huge than chase the duet was  so easy. So, the bear extended his right arm and Daddy was finally trapped. Boss was still running while the bear was holding Daddy.

-Let me go, you stupid bear!

-Don’t worry, I will save you!

Using the wand, Boss gave a big jump and torn the teddy’s head apart. The bear fell and Daddy was released from its claws. Daddy stood up and by chance, Boss was standing there waiting for him.

-How did you do that?

-It’s our weapon and ticket way out.

-What about the tank?

-Look, there is a train.

Pointing with the wand, Daddy saw a train of normal size, but made of plastic. They walked to it and after reach it and get in, Boss was the one who drove the train taking position in the railway engine. It was a toy, so drive it was easy.

-Do you know drive a train?

-It’s a toy train, will be easy.

The train was in motion, while Daddy had a lot of doubts. The train was going on its way heading to a bridge and the 2 passengers could see it.

-Now we have to cross that bridge and you will see your son again.

-How do you know so much about this place?

-Because I already was here before.

What they didn’t know is that the tank was close after trying from find its targets and once it realize they were on trying, it shot directly to the bridge’s end. Daddy and Boss beheld how an explosion made the bridge disappear.
-What did happen?

-That tank again is trying to stop us.

-We are screw! The bridge had fallen!

-We have to jump out of the train.

Leaving the command center, Boss and Daddy ran back trying to escape before fall to the void. The train was so fast that before arrive to the last wagon, the train got to the dead end and fell. It was too late and the passenger had only one choice. So opening the door of the wagon they were, the duet came out and hanging Daddy’s hand, Boss got hang of a branch from a closer tree and they both could leave the train before fall with it. Boss let the branch go and they touch ground newly.

-You’re fine?

-Yes, at less we are in the other side of the way.

-Yes, but we lost the train.

-Well, we have to follow the railways. C’mon.

As Boss said, he and Daddy walked following the railways hoping that lead them to where Nicky was. It was a long way by the railways and it was enough to speak and answer all  Daddy’s doubts.

-If we keep walking straight, we gonna arrive.

-Tell me, if you were here before, how did you escape?

-When I was a kid, I found the box in a dumper. I was poor in that moment. I got into the box and when I came, I met Toy Boy.

-Toy Boy you say?

-He is the one who rules this place. This place was heaven to me until I’ve seen so many children costumes hiding in a room. I knew in that moment that Toy Boy wanted to keep me here and make me a toy like the other children whom were here before.

-What do you mean with make you a toy?

-I noticed something strange one day when I was playing with a cloth doll. When seeing her, her looking, wearing and face were exactly to a little who I saw in an old black and white picture that I found in the pocket of one of the hiding children costumes.
-That means….

-He spent years, maybe centuries doing this and he was trying to turn me into a doll. I know that because I was using doll clothes and one day I saw how my hands were turning into plastic.

-And what happened next?

-I stole his wand from his lair and I used it to escape. This wand put an end to my days as a tramp. Its magic created my store and gave me enough money to leave the streets forever. Since that day, I tried to protect the box hoping that no other child suffers the same destiny that those children missing here.

-And what would happen if he gets his wand back?

-Then we will never keep out of here.

In that moment, they saw a red car in front of them and stopped.

-Oh, no. This is bad.

-Why? It’s just a car.

-That thing is not a car.

After of some seconds of suspense, the car got dismantle and became into a giant robot.

-It that a transformer robot?

-He has Japanese toys of his side.

-Ok, this is bad.

The robot raised his fist and gave the first attack. Daddy and Boss tried to evade the attacks, but it was impossible escape from something so big. All they could do was laid in the ground or jump when the fist was close to them and the situation got worse when the robot used his right claw.

-That thing is so big!

-We most escape.

But in the try, the robot stopped them shooting his claw cutting their path.

-Hey, what the hell? Man.

The claw was stuck in the ground in front of them and Boss moved his wand sending a star that got stuck in the robot’s face.

-You gave him right on his head.

-It isn’t over yet.

The star came back to the wand and this time, the robot shot his left fist. When hitting the ground, Boss jumped, ran by the robot’s dismantled arm, jumped again and with the wand broke the robot’s head in two. Boss fell on foot and the robot fell so hard like a building.
-How did you do that?

-Everything is work of the wand.

After 1 mile of walk, the 2 travelers had arrived to the end.

-Ok, we are here.

-Wow, it’s so big!

Before them there was a big pink castle with purple point at the end of the towers. Pretty similar to those princess girl toys and it could be compared with some of those Barbie’s accessories.
-Tell me, is that a Barbie castle?

-Yes, but don’t let you fool.

-How we gonna in?

-Let it to me.

After got closer to the castle in front of the gate, Boss put the wand in the lock like a key and opened the gate. Inside there was a big green space like some kind of garden. The place brought some memories back to Boss about the days he spent there.

-This place hadn’t change.

-There is a problem, Boss.

-And what is it?

-I don’t see any door. There is no way to go into the castle.

-There is just one place where Toy Boy is keeping your son.

-Oh, yeah? Where?

-Take my hand.

Boss moved his wand and the same star was send to the air with a rope. Hanging the wand, Boss and Daddy were lifted to the highest tower of the Barbie castle. Once they got there, Boss broke the window of just 1 punch, they both got in and Nicky was inside. Nicky heard them in once he knew who his visitors were, he ran to hug his daddy. The father gave welcome to Nicky with his arms open and father and son hugged like if they didn’t see each other for a  long time.

-Nicky! Thank god you are here.

-Dad, what are you doing here?

-Listen, we have to go now.

-But I love this place.

-It’s a trap. You are in danger.

-Your dad has right. If we stay here, we gonna to be toys and stay here forever.

-But Toy Boy is my friend.

-No, he is not. He actually is…

Before end, the door got broken in pieces by something strong. Toy Boy shown himself with  his body colored of black and red, 2 fangs, claws, triangles on his shoulders and black horns on his head.
-So you came back, Boss.

-Toy Boy, It had passed so many time.

-I waited a lot for this moment.

-Just let the kid go with his dad.

-I will not let you take him away!

Toy Boy grew up soddenly and became into a giant monster toy with bat wings, dinosaur head, big claws and a long tail with a sharp end.

-What the hell is that?

-That is his true form.

Toy Boy attacked with his tail and Boss stopped the hit with his wand.

-Stay back!

-Boss, how we keep out of here?

-This wand is the only way out!

But the chance to escape was interrupted by the battle. Toy Boy attacked with hits, claws, fire breath, tail, all his power. Boss attacked and evaded with the wand like a shield and sword. Boss sent a star sticking in the monster toy’s chest. The monster hit with big anger his tail against Boss. Toy Boy was very strong in his true form, so there was just 1 way to escape. Boss used his wand to send a long rope around Toy Boy leaving him totally immobilize for a short time.

-That rope will not stop him for much longer.

-So we have to keep out of here right now!

-C’mon, hang on me.

Taken hand by hand, Boss raised the wand and they came out by the window. When Toy Boy untied himself, it was too late for stop the escape. Boss and pals were going to the high sky way back home. At the end of the line, Boss, Daddy and Nicky were home again. They came out of the box shooting in the air. They landed in the ground and looked around to get sure.

-We did it.

-Daddy, we are home again.

-Yes, is over.

-No yet. Quick, we have to close the box. Close it!

When Daddy was going to close the box, a big claw came out from the box. Toy Boy was trying to keep out of the box. Daddy pushed the lid trying to keep Toy Boy inside of the box.
-Stay inside, god damn it!

For luck, the claw got back inside, but the box was still moving. Boss used a color rope to tie the entire box as a birthday present. Daddy released the box and the 3 witnesses could hear Toy Boy’s voice giving his final sentence.
-When I go out, I will break your asses!

The box gave a last jump and Boss caught it with both hands.

-Ok, now everything is fine.

-I can’t believe you went there to find me.

-I’m your dad. I did it because I love you.

-And I helped him to have my box back.

-What will you do with the box?

-Hide it in a safe place and perhaps fire my dumb assistant. Well, it was nice to meet you, but I must leave now. It’s getting late. Bye.

-Hey, thanks for help me to find my son.

-It was nothing. Take care of him.

Boss walked away and left the house taking the box with him. Now Daddy and Nicky were alone and Daddy had not words to express how guilty he felt to his Nicky’s life in risk. Anyway, Nicky didn’t feel bad or shocked. He felt charmed after visit that Toy Land.
-Daddy, this was the best Day Of The Child I ever had.

-C’mon, Nicky. It’s getting dark.

The sun was coming down and the day too and although what Daddy and Boss had gone through, Nicky felt like he had a funny day and that was something that Daddy didn’t want to miss up. He knew that someday, Nicky would understand it. May Nicky would remember that event as a dream and nothing more, but after all that was a day the he and his daddy will  never forget.
