Cassia looked around wildly, the aftereffects of the nightmare still present. Seeing nothing that was of an immediate danger to her, she took a deep breath and put her head in her hands. "Oh god..." she whispered.

     Clancy was pacing the living room floor, walking back and forth so quickly the room was blurred to her. "I just know that damn necklace has something to do with this..." she muttered, clearly pissed that Cassia wouldn't listen to her.

     Yoi was still awake, despite being sent to bed to sleep, and she was worried about Cassia. 'Is Clancy right? Could Cassia be... changed?' her thoughts were all over the place, refusing to leave her alone.
She curled up under her blankets and tried to sleep, if only to have some peace from her thoughts.
As the night wore on, she slowly fell asleep and began to dream.

~in her dreams~

     5 year old Yoi was coloring quietly in her room, making a picture for Clancy.
Suddenly she heard a door slam, and the sound of Clancy moving to greet whoever it was at the door.
The murmured voices floated up to Yoi, but what she heard was confusing.

"She's my daughter!"

"You left her with her insane mother!"

"That woman isn't her mother, you know she doesn't have one! You KNOW why I had to leave her with that family!"

"You're just bitter because Sky was allowed to keep his daughter longer than you could keep Yoi!"

"..."
"That's not true... I loved them both to much, it tore me apart when that bastard Herobrine tore us apart."

"Leave."

"What?"

"You heard me! She doesn't know you exist, and I'm not having her taken from me! James gave me instructions, and you aren't part of them."

"But I'm her father!"

"Not anymore you aren't."

"Fine. I will get her back someday, and my other daughter."

The sound of the door slamming again is heard, and the squeak of the sofa as someone sat down on it.

None of it made any sense to Yoi, so she didn't pay any attention to it. Instead she went back to her coloring book.

~end of dream~

     Some time later, Cassia lifted her head from her hands, finally noticing how late it was. She growled and buried her face in her hands again and let out a muffled scream.
     She stopped only once her voice threatened to give out, and started sobbing. Her emotions were all over​ the place, turning her into a mess.

Anger
Pain
Sadness
Rage
Hopelessness
Fear
Despair
Pride

"It's all your fault, you worthless brat!" Anger shouted, his voice enraged.
"You can't fight it... It'll only cause you to be hurt..." Pain whispered, her voice trembling.
"Time to hide and curl up in a ball again..." Sadness said quietly, her voice defeated.
"You worthless piece of garbage! You have all this power, and you try to get rid of it!" Rage roared, his voice almost overwhelming.
"It's worthless to try and fight it..." Hopelessness whispered, her voice shaky.
"W-what i-if y-you h-hurt s-someone?" Fear said in a low tone, her voice unsteady.
"You've come this far, only to fail now. How pathetic. There's no use trying again, you'll never win." Despair said in a mocking tone, her voice soft and velvety​.
"Are you going to just sit here doing nothing?! Get up and PROVE you can handle this!" Pride sniped, her voice high and pitched.

     Cassia's sobs continued as the multitude of emotions and voices threatened to consume her. She pulled her legs up to her chest and huddled against the tree as she tried to think through the storm of emotions.

Minutes passed, each minute getting louder and louder until she finally snapped.

"Shut up!"

     Cassia stood swiftly as the voices in her head fell silent, and started walking off quickly, determined to find a way to solve this.

     "I refuse to be controlled by who my father is." she said in a low voice then she disappeared into the forest, vanishing from view.

...

~ noon the next day ~

     Clancy was in the kitchen making lunch when Yoi finally came downstairs. "Do you want pasta or a sandwich Yoi?" Clancy asked as she came into view.
     Yoi just walked past her, and sat down at the kitchen table, looking out the window toward the forest.

     Clancy set down the spoon and turned the fire down low so it didn't burn. Walking over to the table as well, she sat opposite Yoi. "Yoi are you ok?" she asked.
     Yoi didn't look at her, instead keeping her eyes on the forest outside the window. "W-when i-is C-cassia c-coming b-back?" she asked quietly, her soft voice little more than a whisper.

     Clancy bit her lip worriedly, trying to think of a way to tell her something that wouldn't hurt. She sighed briefly, then put her hand over Yoi's, which was resting on the table as well, drawing her attention. "I don't know Yoi... Cassia isn't exactly in the best mindset right now, and I don't want you to get hurt by her."

     Yoi pulled her hand out from under  Clancy's and looked at her with wide eyes​. "C-cassia w-won't h-hurt m-me."
     "Yoi... I know you think the best of her, but she's... she's different, you don't know what could happen." Clancy sighed and looked out the window as well, just in time to see a figure stumble out of the tree line and collapse.

Ahhhh it's finally out! I'm sorry this took so long, I kept trying to add more shizzle to it, without much luck.

Sorry for it being so short, I couldn't do anything else without revealing some big stuff OwO.
