He sat on a hill waiting for Firefly to come

And he watched as she dashed up to see him touching there noses together

"Hi Preyheart" she spoke her voice filled with love for him

They had been mates for a few moon's now and had been talking about having kits

"So you know how we were thinking about having kits?...." Firefly asked

"Your.....expecting kits aren't you?" Preyheart replied

"Yes!" Firefly answered

"That's....amazing news" Preyheart said

"Yes I know!" Firefly replied with a giant smile on her face

"Shadowstalker is going to be overjoyed when he hears the news" Preyheart said

"He probably well be" Firefly aggred

"So would you be up for some hunting?" Preyheart asked

"One that brings the most prey back gets first pick of pile" Firefly said and ran down the hill

"Cheater!" He replied as he chased her down the hill

He caught sight of a rabbit and so he ran for it

The sound of his paws thumping against the ground filled his ears

The rabbits head shot up and it turned its head and saw him and it took off

But he ran after it and he blocked it from getting in a burrow and he chased it until he made a flying leap and landed on top of it catch it

His leap reminded him of a hawk swooping in on its prey

"Thank you starclan for this prey" he whispered

And got up he hid his prey in a clump of tall grass and searched for more

He saw Firefly chasing a rabbit and he ran after it he was closer after all

He caught the rabbit

"Hey that was my rabbit!" Firefly said as she ran over

"So what I caught it" Preyheart replied with a mischievous smile

"Fine you can have it" Firefly said

And they continued to hunt and he ended up catching more prey then Firefly

They returned to camp jaws full of prey

"So you decided to head out hunting" Rainfall said as he saw them carrying there prey to the fresh-kill pile

He dropped his bunch of prey on the pile

"Yep" he answered Rainfall

And Firefly dropped her load of prey on the pile

And the two of them walked over to Rainfall and sat down

"Wait was something going between the two of you?" Rainfall asked

"What! Why would you ask that" Preyheart replied

"Just thought since your mates-" Rainfall answered

"How do you know that" Preyheart interrupted to ask

"Uh cause I can tell when my own sister is in love" Rainfall answered

"And when you said you were planning to leave the clan she was torn she wanted to stay with you and she wanted to stay here" Rainfall said

"Uh that's not your stuff to share Rainfall" Firefly replied

Shadowstalker walked into camp with Graypool Speckledsnow Ibistip and Skybreeze they were all carrying prey so it was obvious that they were an hunting patrol

And they each dropping off there prey

It seemed as tho Ibistip liked hunting with Shadowstalker as much as liked to do it with her mate Riverclaw

"Hey Preyheart" Shadowstalker said

His father Shadowstalker was originally a rogue before he joined Stormclan

"Hi Shadowstalker" he replied

"So how are you doing" Shadowstalker asked

"I'm doing fine" Preyheart answered

"I'm expecting kits! And Preyheart is the father" Firefly said

"Your expecting kits! And Preyheart is....what! Since when" Shadowstalker asked

"I only found out earlier today" Firefly replied

Shadowstalker was silent after that

"I think ya broke Shadowstalker" Rainfall said

"Dose Ibistip and Riverclaw know?" Shadowstalker asked

"Uh your surprise and very loud question made it so I could hear this news" Ibistip said as she walked over

"And Riverclaw probably heard too" Ibistip said

"I was surprised when Firefly told me" Shadowstalker replied

"I can understand that I was equally surprised when I heard you say it" Ibistip said

Wolfmoon led Riverclaw Rainsplash Cloudfrost and Wintersnow into camp

Riverclaw came over to them

"Did I hear a shout when I was coming back to camp?" Riverclaw asked

"Yes I'm expecting kits and we just told Shadowstalker who was surprised" Firefly answered

"With.....Preyheart?" Riverclaw asked

"Yes" Firefly answered

"That's wonderful news" Riverclaw said

"I know" Firefly replied and twined her tail with Preyheart's

"You two seem so happy together" Ibistip observed

"We are" Preyheart aggred and smiled

Some cats who met him were surprised that he could even move his tail because of how many scared his tail was

Now that I'm happy here I have wondered why I ever wanted to leave

"I'm going to go get something to eat" Preyheart said

"Kay bye" Firefly said

And he walked over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a plump rabbit and walked over to where Softpelt was sunning herself

"Hey wanna share this with me" Preyheart asked

Softpelt lifted her head to see him with the rabbit now at his feet

"Yes I love to" Softpelt answered and rolled off her side and got up

"That's awful kind of you to often" Softpelt said

And they ate the rabbit together

"Did I hear right that Firefly is expecting your kits?" Softpelt asked

"Yeah you did. Tho I wasn't expecting Shadowstalker to react that way" Preyheart replied

"Ya never do expect it until they actually do" Softpelt said

She was a wise cat who knew quite a bit of there past and one of his mane teachers before he was apprenticed

She would teach him the warrior code and about there past and tell him awesome story's especially ones about there leader and deputy

Which Wolfmoon was currently the oldest deputy in the clans and she was older then Sunheart of Nightclan

Softpelt had said over the gatherings that she had learned that Sunheart would often head out at night to stare up at the stars wondering which were is dead friends Deerflower Lostwing and Jayear
