3rd Person's POV

It was a dark and stormy evening. People walked faster, suddenly aware of the ill weather that was to come, their steps tapping heavily on the busy streets of New York.

It wasn't just any night after all.

Meanwhile, the top of a ten-story building was high enough to alarm any human who steps above it, but then again.....

She stood tall, dressed in a cloak as black as coal, and the night itself enveloped her like a smoke. The perfect camouflage. A black, leather body suit clung to her body like a second skin, and equipped with a face that could melt the ice caps in Mt. Fuji, she was ready to claim a soul like no other.

Tainted yet pure at the same time. It would seem almost impossible for that to happen, and yet there he was, so oblivious.

The night is young and the cold wind is unforgiving. It made even someone like her shiver with anticipation.

The creature gazed to the sky just in time to see the darkening skies. A storm is brewing at the very moment.

But none of that was important. She came here for a reason, and that reason was to claim him. Even if it means falling from a ten-story building and smashing your beautiful face on the cold streets, because let's face it, nobody stands at the top of the building, let alone at edge the of it.

Unless you're crazy.

Hmm Yes. Maybe I am. The creature smiled deviously to herself.

Where was I? Oh yes, his soul.

So black and sinister, yet so refreshingly clear. So conflicted between good and evil...

The very reason he was very valuable to beings like her.

Thunder growled as rain started to pour endlessly throughout the whole city.

It dampened her cloak but she paid no attention to it. Her suit though was waterproof, for that she was a bit thankful.

She stifled a yawn, fighting to keep her boredom at bay.

She had waited for three hours straight. She started waiting with a sunny weather at sight, and look at the weather now-a storm is fast approaching.

Maybe it's just rain, but who cares?

Where was he, she thought, he was suppose to be here hours ago. What's taking him so damn long?

Meanwhile, the man had just finished business with his colleague on the phone. He had tried to end the conversation hours ago but the man on the other line won't take no for an answer. They ended up agreeing on a fifty pound bargain in exchange for a very important information.

He was completely oblivious to what the creature had in plan. He had unceremoniously stepped outside his ten-story building with briefcase in hand and a slightly damp head from his recent shower, completely unguarded. She grinned like a Cheshire cat, smiling at how easy this all was. She cracked her head from side to side and prepared to drop down, crouching into position.

She took a deep breath, air filling up her lungs completely, and upon releasing it, leaped weightlessly through the edge in less than a heartbeat.

Water rapidly whipped past her face as she descended from above at an accelerating eighty mile per hour speed, having a sense of adrenaline rushing through her veins. It made her almost happy feeling a sense of uncertainty.

The ground was fast approaching. She angled her body and rotated with enough force to land on her two feet.

She landed with a crack on the ground, crouching position. It made a loud bang as her heels connected to the ground and smashed it. The man's face was one of fear and amazement. He took his time to regain his voice as the creature made a motion to stand up. "You're not human, are you?" the man stated bravely. He had finally regained his voice.

The creature gave him one of her signature devious smiles.

She stood up, tilted her head upwards, then to the side, in mocking confusion. "And what makes you say that? Was it the cloak?" he gritted his teeth in response.

So soon.

He thought.

Too soon.

She was somewhat confused though. If he knew what she was the moment she dropped down from the sky and cracked the pavement, then why wasn't he running away? All her other victims tried to at least crawl away. Surely that little display was enough to scare him off? Maybe he knew it would be useless, that everything would eventually fall into her perfectly manicured hands.

Resistance is futile.

She remembered all those alien movies she watched, and managed to slip a small smile unto her lips. But just as it came, it quickly vanished.

She had to take her job more seriously....

"I know what you are" he boldly stated. She sensed his fear. But sensing it is different from actually seeing it, for he displayed no trace of fear in his face. The way he stands was so composed. Even the way he breathes was in a complete, steady pace.

She could hear every breath. In, out, in, out.

His heartbeat though, she mentally smiled. It was going faster and faster for every second passing.

Got yah.

"Please, do enlighten me" She started walking towards him, heels clicking on the sidewalk as she did so. Civilians had stumbled upon their little scene but displayed no bit of interest.

How ignorant, she thought. Stupid idiots.

He remained unmoving, his body tense. "Demon." he whispered.

She clapped dramatically "Wow! You catch up fast, don't you?" she snickered. "Although knowing what I am won't change what's about to get down, if you know what I mean." Her hands dropped to the sides and she kept a predatory stance.

He struggled to keep his voice unshaken and low. "I have a deal to make. Creatures like you loved deals, as far as I knew." he interrupted. His face displayed no emotion, no fear, not an ounce of weakness.

So black, she thought, and so tasty... Was there still a chance of redemption for people like him? She wondered. Maybe yes, maybe no but why would she care?

She could almost taste his soul that her mouth watered in the process. Its scent was intoxicating her in more ways than one. One little motion or gesture from him and the scent floods to her senses instantly.

Deals huh? I like deals.

"It depends."She shifted her weight on her left foot "What do you have in mind?" she crossed her arms on her ribs, making her breasts look bigger. It looks effortlessly done, but she knows better than to do it on purpose. She almost predicted his eyes dropping to her chest that it darkened just the slightest, before going back to their usual steel gazes.

She was beautiful, he'll give her that, as beautiful as sin itself. Don't temptations come in the form of perfection? And she was the perfect example.

He refused to be distracted, to be tempted by this unearthly beauty, he couldn't afford to do that.

Not now that his life was obviously on the line.

"Let me live" he said breaking the silence. For a quick second, he pondered on why they seem invisible to the passersby, didn't they see what happened a while ago? The woman clearly fell from the sky!

He dropped the idea with a sigh, realizing she must have somehow "cloaked" her little display moments ago.

"Let you live?" she repeated "And why would I do that?" she put her right hand on her hips as if to challenge him.

He wasn't going to back down.

He clasped his hands in a business-like manner as if discussing a deal. A deal that concerned his life, the matter between life and death. He was afraid, though he did not show it. Who isn't afraid of dying? He knows the consequences if he showed any weakness in front of a demon, they would use it against you. He knew they could sense it, but as long as you don't show it, there's nothing to risk losing. "The badder the better, right? The more value, am I correct?"

It amused her how much he knew, and of course how much he looked discussing matters clasped tight in his Armani suit. It stirred something inside of her. Lust? Desire? Affection? She wasn't sure.

Focusing at the matter at hand, she wasn't one to discard deals, especially good ones.

"That is- correct." She swallowed "Your point?"

"If you let me live, you'll have twice as a black soul than if you kill me now." He dropped his hands to his sides. "Let me finish what I've started. Then, you can take me." Oh how she would take him, in more ways than one, up high in a never-ending mist of pleasure.

Oh, she can't wait.

She thought about it. Twice as bad? Blacker is better, but his soul is far more valuable than just her usual tainted victims. She knew what he wanted. She just wanted those pretty lips of his to say it.

He was special. Plus, she debated, she'll enjoy the company.

Maybe even more.

The only hole to this plan is how valuable this man is, and she's not the only demon in the world and she knows it. Hundreds are going to come for him once they find out how big and bad he really is.

She mentally grinned with her own thoughts.

Is she willing to take that risk? Protect him in exchange for his tasty, dark soul?

She had made up her mind.

"Deal" she couldn't think of a better deal herself. She smiled, genuinely happy with her decision.

His heart just leaped off his chest. Seeing her smile was a whole new experience.

How could one as dark as her, seem so pure and innocent?

"Though-" she wondered "We need to seal this agreement."

How do you seal an agreement with a devil? A contract maybe, some kind of paperwork? Chanting? Even he was curious.

"Do you need a pen-" he tried to ask, but was cut off rather rudely.

"Oh darling." she smiled her devious smile, nothing like the smile moments before. "There's no pen needed."

Then she moved so swiftly and elegantly. She grabbed the back of his head in mere seconds that he didn't really have that much time to react.

She crashed her lips against his, and all the things that mattered seem to vanish. And it was only the two of them, that shared this moment, that really mattered.

So sweet, he thought. You're going to be the death of me, he muttered. He knew it.

He just can't stop it.

It shocked him to say the least, but he soon recovered and responded quickly. He grabbed her body and pushed it against his- their bodies in perfect sync with their lips. The kiss was rough, wanting. Her taste, aroma, was addicting to him, as his was to her. Then he felt a burning sensation in his eyes.

It was painful, but bearable.

It paled in comparison to the growing desire that stirred inside him. He wanted to take her, right there, right now. He had never tasted such sweet lips in his entire life. Her expert lips moved against his in perfect harmony, eyes clouded over by desire as they connected with every movement. Hands tangled into the other's mane, aiming for more contact. They can never get too close.

And all too soon, it was gone. It was like it never happened in the first place. The sensation cut off like a fire would in a sudden rainfall.

The feel of pure ecstasy, the never-ending pull into oblivion. She felt like a black hole sucking the life out of him. She was first to let go, pushing him to the ground with so much force that he fell with a thud in the sidewalk. He was still drugged with the aftermath, dazed to why they stopped. It was all good. All too good that he didn't want it to end.

Like a dream he never wanted to wake up from.

"It's done." She pointed out while running her hand through her red curls.

She felt something. She feared she might, but settled on it being nothing but desire.

Nothing else, she told herself.

He stood up to his full height, brushed his suit, and continued to tower over her. He gets it now.

The kiss was a mere contract, and nothing more. Although, his body felt otherwise, he said it more to convince himself rather than believe it. The pain he felt, as he decided, was worth it.

The price for kissing a devil.

"It is." He confirmed. He figured if he was going to die, then be the hell with it. He sighed.

She smiled, all scheming. She swooped an elegant bow, her left leg on the floor, right arm on her stomach. And muttered something through her pretty little lips-

"Master."

The deal was set.
