Sanyukta came to the room

Randhir was standing near the window

"I am so sorry for keeping you waiting..." She said hugging him from back

"Hmmm..." He replied blankly

"What happened to you now...?" She turned him to face her

"What...?" She cupped his face

"So you have started hiding things from me..." He said

"Hide?" "Randhir what are you saying..." She asked

"This...."

He showed her the burnt saree.

"Why?" "Don't you even bother to tell me..." He said

"Randhir...I was...I was scared..." "I thought...you will be angry and tense" She stammered

"And what if something would have happened to you Jaaan" "to our baby..." He cupped her face tightly

"We are fine Randhir..." She assured him

"How did it happen?" He asked

"Ummm...Ran-Randhir it was an accident" She said

"You should be careful Jaaan" He said

"I will take care Randhir...I promise" She touched her forehead with his

Randhir hugged her immediately

"Thank god Randhir isn't doubting Maithili" Sanyukta thought

"Mummy wants a kissy" She said in utterly cute tone trying to forget the incident

Randhir broke the hug

"Daddy wants Mumma to take rest" He said and carried her in his arms

"Mumma wants kissy na.." She pouted

He quickly peck her lips

"Not this...a big one..." She said

"Jaaaan I have got an important work to do" He said

"Whats so important Randhir?" She asked

"It is..." He said kissing her on forehead

"You sleep now...I will join you soon" He said covering her in quilt

"Ummm..." She made a face

"Sleep I said" He ordered

"Okay.." She made a grumpy face and covered her face under quilt

Randhir got to study room.

He made number of phone calls to someone.

He worked on laptop for many hours.

"Thanks a lot...and keep me updating" He said and disconnected call

He checked time and it was already 1 in the midnight

He came back to room and found Sanyukta sleeping peacefully

He too fall asleep soon.

Next Morning

Everyone in the house was busy in wedding preps.

Randhir was on call instructing his sub ordinates to handle all the work properly

Sanyukta was getting ready for sangeet ceremony.

"Okay Thank you..." Randhir hanged up the call

He turned only to see his beautiful wife clad in orange color lehenga choli

Without wasting much time he walked upto her and clad her in his arms.

"Randhir..." She whispered as he placed some kisses on her neck

"How do you manage to look so beautiful Jaaan?" He hushed in her ears and sucked her earlobe

"Secret..." She said

"Tell me..." He kissed her shoulder

"Ummm Hmm..." She nodded in NO

"Wives look more beautiful when they are pregnant" "Is that true Sanyukta" He asked resting his chin on her shoulder

"Yes it is..." She replied

"Sanyukta I want our baby to be like you...beautiful,charming" "I want him or her to inhert your beautiful features" "Your eyes...lips..nose..." He said and release the string on her choli

His hands reached more deep and ran his fingers on her senstive spots.

"Randhir not now..." She said

"Just...5 minutes" He said and started kissing her bare back

"Love...we'll get late" "Everyone is waiting for us" "Will continue afterwards...at night" she said

He tied the knot of choli again

"Okay..." He said and turned her

He cupped her face and placed a warm kiss on her forehead

"I will be busy in wedding preparations all day" "May be will be going out for the same..." "I will not be around you...so please take care Jaaan" "Please...after whatever happened yesterday be careful" He said

"I will take care Randhir..." She assured him

"Love you..." He said

"Love you too" She said

Soon Randhir left the house for doing some arrangement while Sanyukta was at home

Renuka was not allowing Sanyukta do any work

Sanyukta was just sitting idle and looking at arrangement the servents were doing.

They were decoarting each and every corner of the house with fresh flowers,lights and some decorative silk curtains.

"Hey Sanyukta" came a voice and Sanyukta's shifted her eyes to the source of the voice

There was Maithili standing right next to the sofa

"Hello Maithili" Sanyukta replied

"I hope you are fine now..." Maithili asked

Sanyukta was shock at the first place looking at the concern

"Yeah...Thanks for the concern" Sanyukta replied

"I am sorry Sanyukta..." Maithili said and Sanyukta got another shock

"Sorry?" Sanyukta cocked her brows to register the thing happening

"Yes Sanyukta I am really very sorry...I realised my mistake Sanyukta" "You were right...whatever I am doing is not right" "I am on wrong path...and it will lead me no where" "I am so sorry Sanyukta...for whatever happened yesterday" Maithili shed some fake tears

"Maithili...I..."

"Let me continue Sanyukta...I am so bad...I tried to harm your unborn child" "I tried to...I tried to..kill you and your baby" "I should have understand that you both are married now..." "And yes you are right...Randhir never had any feelings for me...neither he gave me any false hopes" "He was always very clear...Its my mistake...not mistake...but my stubborness that...I failed to understand it" "I am sorry" Maithili cried more and Sanyukta was melted by her emotional manipulation

"Its okay Maithili...I am glad that you realise your mistake and rectifying it too" Sanyukta said and smiled genuinely looking at her

"So...will you forgive me?" Maithili asked

"I have already done that..." Sanyukta said

"How can you be so nice Sanyukta...?" "How can you be so nice to a person who tried to hurt you and your baby" Maithili said

"Cause I can see in your eyes that you are really sorry for your deeds" "And forgiving and moving on...is what I am doing for my good" "I don't want any grudges between us..." Sanyukta said

"You are really so good Sanyukta...Friends?" Maithili forwarded her hand for handshake

"Sure..." Sanyukta joined her hand

"Great...Thank you so much" "And now even I will join the forces and take care of you" Maithili said

"Till the time I am here...I will be with you" "To take care of my new friend and her baby..." Maithili said

"Sure..." Sanyukta replied

"Sanyukta one more thing..." Maithili said biting her lips in hesitation

"What?" She said

"Ummm...please disclose it to anyone...that whatever happened in temple yesterday was all done by me..." Maithili said and started crying

"Ssshhh No Maithili don't cry..." "I promise I will not tell it to anyone..." Sanyukta said and Maithili hugged her

The day rolled

It was evening

Shekhawat's had invited folk dancers group to perform a folk dance for the evening

The group performed 'Ghoomer' on some rajasthani music tunes and songs

Sanyukta wanted to join them but Randhir had gripped her hand tightly not allowing her to go and dance

"I want to dance" She said

"After 9 months..." He replied

"I want to dance right now..." She said

"Ummm" She pouted in disheartening way

"Your cute antics won't work..." He said

Randhir's phone buzzed with a strange tune.

Sanyukta heard the tune for the first time

The tune sounded like alarm or warning tune.

"I am coming back Jaaaan" He said rushed to the study room taking other route.

He choose not to go in study room through their room

He went to his gym area and then he sprinted upstairs and got into his study room

He quickly on his laptop

It had all the CCTV footage captures of their room

He had fixed virtual cameras in room with biometric checks and image processing techniques

Randhir had feed in pictures and other details of all his family members and some servents of the house into the system except Maithili

If any family member in entering their room the alarm won't buzz cause the picture feeded in system will match to the face of the person entering their room through biometric check and connected the system to his phone.

If its unmatch the alarm will buzz

The alarm buzzed this time and Randhir was right.

It was Maithili entering their room.

She searched for something in Sanyukta's wardrobe but soon left the place leaving Randhir totally confuse

"What is she upto?" Randhir thought

He closed the laptop and got down joining everyone in sangeet ceremony

"Where were you?" Sanyukta asked as Randhir stood beside her

"Had an important phone call to attend" He said

"And what was the strange alarm about..." She asked

"That was reminder..." He smiled

Further they concentrated on Sangeet ceremony

Randhir was getting worried with each passing minute

He had his eyes fixed on Maithili and Sanyukta turn by turn

Sanyukta settled beside Sukanya while Maithili and Lavanya danced on some latest numbers

Sanyukta looked at worried Randhir

He smiled a small one and she blink her eyes

Randhir got little busy in addressing and welcoming some guests

Sanyukta got thirsty so she went to the kitchen to have some water

She gulped a glass of water and was about to go when her eyes fell on gulab jamun

They look tempting.

"Gulaan Jamun..." She mumbled and thought of gulping one of them

She served a single piece into a bowl for herself

She sat on chair and starting gulping it.

She was craving for it.

She felt relief when she finally gulped them

She joined everyone again in the hall.

Randhir looked at her again she was talking to Renuka

The ladies were giggling over some topic

Sanyukta felt something weired happening to her.

She thought of gulping one more glass of water

She went to the kitchen to treat herself with water.

But still she felt pukish.

She felt dizziness

Something is happening to her.

She thought of calling Randhir but before she could do so she collapsed on the floor.

Randhir was searching for her.

She inquried about her to Renuka

Renuka told him she is unaware of her whereabouts

His legs moved to kitchen and he found her lying unconscious.

"Sanyukta..." He rushed to her and took her head in his lap

"Jaaaan...what happened?" He tapped her cheek

"Jaaan open the your eyes..." Randhir got frighten to the core

He picked her up and after sometime entire Shekhawat family was found in hospital

Randhir was restless,impatient,worried,tense for Sanyukta and their baby.

Doctor came out examining Sanyukta

"How is she?" "What happened to her?" "Is she fine" "And our baby..." Randhir asked couple of questions

"Food poisoning..." doctor said and Randhir died thousand deaths in same moment.
