It was 12 midnight.

She checked her phone but there was no call or message from Randhir.

She got worried.

She quickly dialed his number

"Randhir...where are you?" "Are you okay?" "Come back soon" She said

"I am on the way to home Sanyukta..." "Coming soon" "You sleep okay" He replied

"Alright...come soon"

They disconnected the call

Soon she heard the horn of his car.

She opened the door of their room

"OMG...what happened" She was horrified looking at his bleeding forehead

"Nothing...just a small accident Sanyukta" He replied

"Its not at all small Randhir...see how much its bleeding" "come sit here I'll first aid you" She made him sit on bed

She touched his forehead and he had fever too.

"You have fever Randhir..." She said

"Hmm...a little bit...that's why I was feeling dizzy and I drip down from stairs" He said

"You should be careful Randhir...and why didn't you come back home if you were feeling feverish"

She did his first aid.

"Here...take this tablet" "You'll feel better" She gave him medicine.

She carefully made him lay on bed and covered him with blanket.

"Don't go please...I need you" He stopped her by holding her wrist.

"Coming..." She switch off the lights and laid down next to him.

She kissed his forehead and he was in deep slumber.

He had held her hand into his tight grip.

She rested her head on his chest close to his heart.

She could hear his heart beats.

She looked upto him.

He was snoring.

She smiled.

She kept her head again on his chest and slept.

Next Morning.

Randhir was still sleeping while Sanyukta caress his forehead.

"How is Randhir now"? Renuka entered their room

"Fever is still there Maasa...." "He looks weak" Sanyukta said

"Ohh God...Let me call doctor" Renuka said and left

Afters some time doctor came and examine Randhir

He prescribed some medicines to Randhir.

"Doctor anything serious?" Sanyukta asked out of concern

"Nothing serious...viral it is...He'll be fine soon" "Please feed him something first and then give him this medicines" Doctor said

"But his weakness..." Sanyukta said

"It is because of fever...He'll be fine Mrs Shekhawat" Doctor said with assurance

Hours rolled on but Randhir was still into deep slumber.

Sanyukta was worried for him.

She didn't moved a bit from her place and his hand into her hand.

"Ummm...Pani..." Randhir mumbled in sleep

"Randhir...you need something" Sanyukta asked

"Water..." He said trying opening his heavy eyelids

"Yes..." She helped him to drink water

"Randhir...how are you feeling now?" Sanyukta asked

"Hmm...better" He said struggling to sit straight on bed

"Randhir...you need to rest...please..." Sanyukta said

"I need to freshen up...I'll feel better" He said getting up with lot of difficulty

"Okay...you go and freshen up" "I'll bring something to eat for you" She said left

Sometime later

Randhir was getting ready for office.

"Where are you going Randhir?" She asked

"Office..." He replied

"What?" "No...you are not going anywhere Randhir" "I'll not let you go" "Sit back and take rest" "You are unwell" She said with authority

"Sanyukta listen...." He tried to speak

"No No No...I don't want to listen anything" She said

"Listen..." He said

"What...?" "Don't try convincing me Okay" "I will not allow you that's it" She said

"Listen to me first..." He said

"Have food first"

She made him sit on sofa and started feeding him

"Listen Sanyukta..." he said

"Ssshhhh....chup chap khana khao" She said

Once she was done feeding him he took medicines

"Good Boy..." she said ruffling his hair a bit

"Now listen to me Sanyukta please..." He said sternly

"Yes..."

"I need to go office...I have very important meeting" He said

"You have important meetings everyday Randhir" "But not today" "Cancel the meeting" She said hugging him

"I can't" "Its damn important" He said hugging her back

"Not more then your health" She said

"Sanyukta its just matter of 2-3 hours" "I promise I'll come back once I am done with the meeting" He tried convincing her

"NO" She said and broke the hug

"Please jaan...let me go" "I'll not drive Okay" "I have taken meds too" "I'll be fine" "And I'll come back immediately after meeting" "I promise its really important" He said

"Randhir but..."

"Please Sanyukta..." He said

"Okay I'll come with you...I can't leave you alone" She said

"No..."

"Why?" She asked

"I mean...Sanyukta I am going to one of our client's office for meeting" "The meeting is not in our company" He said

"Okay...but promise you'll take care of yourself Randhir" She asked for assurance

"I'll...and I am promise I'll come back soon" He kissed her forehead

"Take care Randhir" She hugged him

"Hmm..."

Few more hours rolled on

And as the time passed Sanyukta was getting more restless and worried for Randhir

She wasn't able to concentrate on anything.

She just want to see him once.

She thought of asking Harsh about Randhir's whereabouts but then dropped the idea thinking it will not look good of her going to their clients office just to see him.

Randhir being a strict professional would never like that.

"Randhir I hope you're fine" She mumbled

"Let me call him once..." "I just want to hear his voice" She thought and dialed his number

She dialled his number but he disconnected the call.

"He must be in meeting" She thought

Some more time passed

"Randhir said its just 2-3 hours meeting" "Its quite late now"  "He will now recieve my call" She thought and dialed his number again

But again to her disappointment he disconnected her call.

"Randhir...." She got disheartened

"I am not feeling good" "Randhir for once...I need to hear you voice" "I am..." Her eyes welled up

She again dialed his number

"Whats wrong Sanyukta?" "Stop calling me" "I am into meeting don't you get a simple thing" He was loud and rude

"Randhir...I...just called..."

Hearing her voice he realized what blunder he just did

"I am sorry..."

She disconnected the call

"Sanyukta...Sanyukta...listen"

But she hung up

Randhir rushed home as soon as he got free from meeting

"Sanyukta..." She was not in room

He went to terrace area but she was not there too

Then he saw light coming from study room.

She was there.

"Sanyukta..." He pulled her and hugged her

"Sorry...I was rude" "I am sorry" He said hugging her tightly

"Its Okay..." She stated blankly breaking the hug

"Sanyukta..." He cupped her face and kissed her forehead

"I know I talked rudely to you over the phone" "I am sorry jaan" "I was in meeting" He said

"I know Randhir...and you don't need to be sorry for that" "I should have known that your work and meetings are more important to you then any other thing in this world not even your health" She said left the room

He followed her to the room

"Sanyukta..." "Listen to me"

But she was no mood to listen

"Sanyukta..."

He pulled her close to him

He looked into her eyes which were clearing showing she is hurt

"You are most important to me Sanyukta" "More then my work my health" "You are important" He said

She looked away.

"You are inseparable part of me" He said and she looked at him

Her eyes immediately welled up

"I was worried for you Randhir" "That's why I called you" "I just wanted to hear your voice that time...I was feeling terrible" "I care for you Randhir" "You had fever last night" "You were not able to stand properly..." "You had weakness..." "I just..." He pushed him

He hugged her from back

"I am sorry..." He kissed her cheek

"Is my jaan gussa on me?" He pouted

"No...but I am hurt..." She replied

"Sorry..." He held her tight

"Okay listen...I want to tell you something" He made her sit on sofa and sat beside her

"What...?"

"You know Sanyukta...the project which I am working right now is Dadasa's dream project" "You know I am working really hard on this project since 1 last year" "And now the project is on final stages" He said and kept his head on her lap

"I want to make him proud Sanyukta..." "I want to make our family proud of me" "This project is basically for the betterment of people of Jaiselmer" "And it my first project after taking control as CEO of our company" "If everything goes according to our plan...This will be biggest achievement of my life Sanyukta" "We have really worked hard to bag this project and to excute it" "And this meetings are regarding the same" "Thats why attending meeting was important for me" "and I am sorry...too" He kissed her hand and she smiled

"I am proud of you Randhir" She kissed his forehead

"I know you will do it" "I have full faith in you" "Your hardwork will surely pay off" She said

"Thanks Sanyukta...thanks for understanding me" "You keep me motivated always" He said

"I am sure Randhir...Dadasa will be really proud of you after this project" She said

"He is my mentor my idol and you are my motivation" He kissed her hand

She hugged him in reaction
