"Sanyukta..." He took her hand into his

"Dadu...." She smiled

"Sanyukta there is a reason why I brought you here" 'There is a reason why we came to India" Pradhyuman said

"What reason Dadu?" She asked

"Sanyukta...we came here for a reason and the reason is your marriage" Pradhyuman admitted

"What?" Sanyukta reacted

"Yes...beta" Pradhyuman cupped her face

"Dadu but..I don't to get married...I am not ready Dadu...I don't want this" Sanyukta stated her pointed

"But doll one day you have to get married..." he added

"I don't want to get married...I don't want to get dependent on someone. I am capable enough for myself Dadu. That's it. Now I am getting it all. Why you so wanted to visit India. Why were so eager to come here. You took special permission from doctor uncle for this...Now its coming clear to me" she frowned

"Its not like that doll...Please understand me..." he tried to explain her

"NOOO...you lied Dadu...jhooth bola aapne mujse..." Her eyes welled up

"Princess please listen to me first...please" Pradhyuman requested her

"NO dadu...Enough...I don't want to listen anything...I am going back to LA...Are you willing to come?" Sanyukta asked him straightly

"Sanyukta....just listen to me for once for god sake beta please" he tried convincing her

"NO Dadu ...not this time...I am going back that's it" she said firmly

"I AM DYING SANYUKTA....I AM DYING" Pradhyuman announced it finally

She was rooted on spot. Her iPad fell down from her hands. She couldn't believe her ears.

She turned back and only to see Pradhyuman sobbing.

"Dadu...What did you say?" Sanyukta asked to reconfirm

Pradhyuman kepy mum and hung his head down

"Dadu....What did you just say?" She jerked him with his shoulders

"Sanyukta...." He tried to cup her face

"Dadu...." She shouted this time as tears rolling down her eyes

"Princess...I don't have much time with me. I am not gonna survive much" Pradhyuman stated finally

"Stop lying Dadu...Just stop...This is not true...This cannot be true" Sanyukta was not ready to accept

"Its truth..." he said

"NO...Its not...You think its some kind of joke Dadu" "You kidding me" "I know you kidding me" She laughed

"Princess...look at me..." he made her look at him

"Beta....yeh sach hai...Its true....mere paas zyada wakt nahi hai....I am suffering from blood cancer...last stage" he broke down at the last word

Sanyukta was stunned

"I am dying..." Pradhyuman cried bitterly

Sanyukta was too numb to react.

"Princess..." he tried to grab her attention

"Sanyukta beta...look at me" Pradhyuman cupped her face

"Dadu...why didn't you tell me this? Why? We could have done something. We could have consulted best doctor Dadu. We could have done everything...You should have told me this earlier." "Why didn't you tell me Dadu?" "Why kept it hiding?" "Why?" Sanyukta broke down

"Sanyukta...my princess...its last stage" Pradhyuman hugged her

"No...Nothing will happen to you. I'll not let anything happen to you" "You'll be fine Dadu" "We'll consult doctor here" We'll treat you" Sanyukta hugged him back

"Sanyukta don't keep hopes my princess...just don't. I have accepted it. I know it will be hard for you accept but you have to accept it." Pradhyuman said

"No Dadu...NO....don't say that" She cried

"Princess...I'll be alone Dadu....Please don't leave me. Please" He broke the hug and kissed her forehead

"That's why I want you get married and settled before I die" "Main bas tumhe khush dekhna chahta hu main" "Isliye main tumhari shaadi aur Randhir ki shaadi karvana chahta hu" Pradhyuman said

"Randhir...?" Sanyukta exclaimed

"Yes beta...I never told you but I always wanted you to get married to Randhir" Pradhyuman smiled and wiped her tears

"Tum dono ki shaadi humne bachpan main hi tey kar di thi" He smiled brightly

"Raghuvir aur main itni pakke dost hai ki humne ek dusre ko vada kar diya tha ki jab tum dono bade hoge toh tumhari shaadi kara denge" Prdhyuman was happy while Sanyukta was listening to keenly

"Jab tum choti thi na...Pradhyuman ne khud tumhara haath Randhir ke liye manga tha" "We have promised each other" "And trust me beta...you'll be very happy here" "I know I didn't tell you about your marriage fixed with Randhir because I was waiting for right time and I guess this is the right time when I am left with no time" "I am sorry for that...but trust me...tum bohot khush rahogi" "They will love you so much" "Tumhe mujse bhi zyada pyaar karenge yeh log" "This family is your fate Sanyukta" "And one day you'll realize this" Pradhyuman took her hand into his and kissed it

"Maine Kishore aur Anju se vada kiya tha ki tumhe ek aachi parvarish dunga" "Tumhari aankho main kabhi aasu nahi aane dunga" "You'll get all you deserve" "You were just 4 when they left us you were too small to understand things at that time" "I promised them you'll be always happy" Pradhyuman said

"Randhir is really a nice guy" "He'll take of you well" "You will be happy with him" "He'll keep you happy" Pradhyuman said confidently

"He is good..." Sanyukta mumbled

"You know what Raghuvir told me..." Pradhyuman said and Sanyukta looked upto him

"He told me not to force you for this marriage" "Told me to give you time" "He is so understanding" "You have already seen how this family treats you" "Everyone is so loving and caring" "Right?"

She nodded in yes

"Think about it...Hmm" Pradhyuman kept his hand on her head and left

On the other side

"What cancer?" "Why didn't you tell me about this Dadasa?" Randhir reacted when he got to know about Pradhyuman's ill health

"Cause Pradhyuman told me not to share it with anyone" Raghuvir said

"Sanyukta..." Randhir mumbled as her thought crossed his mind

"She'll be broken" Randhir got worried

"Pradhyuman is going to talk to her today" Raghuvir declared

"What" Randhir exclaimed

"Yes...he is going to talk to her about his illness and your marriage" "In fact I saw him coming out of Sanyukta's room" "So may be now..." Raghuvir stated further

"What about Sanyukta...?" "How'll she handle all this?" Randhir got tensed

"I know it will be tough for her" Raghuvir said

"I got to see her" Randhir said and was about to go just when Raghurvir stopped him

"No Randhir...give her time...Let her absorb it" Raghuvir made him understand

"But...she will be...I mean...Okay...I won't talk to her. I'll just see her and come back" Randhir uttered and left

He sneaked into her room through window and it broke his heart into millions.

She was crying.

His eyes welled up seeing her.

He so wanted to go inside and hug her tight as much he could. His heart was telling him to do the same but mind was not allowing him. He remembered Raghuvir's words and stopped himself.

He turned back to go when he heard sound of breaking a glass.

It didn't took him much time to identify the source of the noise as it came from Pradhyuman's room.

He quickly ran to his room and found Pradhyuman lying unconscious on the floor.
