Healing of the Heart
Destiny
As I walked through the long hallway Aries questioned me, "Where are we going?".
"Somewhere," I said, focusing on the twists and turns.
"where is somewhere?" she asked.
"You'll see. Now, go away." I said annoyed.
"Fine," she said, giving up.
"Finally!" I said. I was walking through a tunnel that Leanna and I made with our friends when we were younger when we were free before Alind was wanted before Oscar left, the good times, where Dealan was the happiest kid alive. The good times.
*flashback*
"Hey! Hey! Destiny?" someone said.
"Huh? Oh! Alind!" I said.
"Destiny! Look! I got adopted!" Alind says excitedly.
"That's great! How about we go celebrate by getting a cupcake?" I asked.
"Yeah!" Alind exclaimed.
I smiled. I haven't seen Alind that happy since Celine got sick. I remember this. I was about 6 and Alind was around 5, her birthday one month after me. Her birthday was about 10 days after she got adopted. That was when it all happened. The threats from The Hycara. We had overheard the adults talking about it. Alind and I were very mature for our age. Then I heard, "Destiny! Destiny!"
"Huh?" I asked. I felt someone shake me, I then returned to reality.
"You reached a door," Aries said. I then realized that I reached where I was going, Alind's house. It was actually an abandoned shack, but it was safe. I walked over to the door and knocked in a pattern. One knock, silence, two knocks, and five knocks. I repeated that two more times.
"Hello?" a voice called.
"It's me, Destiny, can you open the door?" I asked.
"Destiny? Come in." the voice said.
I walk in to see Alind. Her eyes were strikingly bright, light blue eyes with black hair, a combination that's unheard of. Her house is not much, a small kitchen and a couch. I can slightly see the hallway with the two rooms. One for her, one for her mother.
"Hey." Alind says, "how are you doing?" She leads me to the couch.
"Great. You?" I reply.
"Okay." she says, she makes eye contact with Aries, "Who the fuck is she?"
"She's princess Aries. She's a ghost that haunts me." I answer.
"Jesus and I thought I was going crazy," Alind says.
"Hey. Do you want to plan a meeting with everyone?" I ask.
"Well, it would be nice, but I can't go out of my house. Too risky," she says.
"Yeah! We could meet here!" I exclaim.
"Well, in that case, sure," she says.
"This is going to be fun!"
A/N Hi y'all. Sorry for posting so slow. It's not like anyone reads this anyway. Whatever. I have been going through some stuff with school, I guess, but now I have more free time since I have two weeks off of school. Anyways, bye.
