Ryan's POV

Sleeping is hard when the love of your life isn't around you. I mean, I can't text him all the time because of school and other stuff, and we only face-chat every other month. But Anthony promised that this year, he would visit with Julia, Thomas, and Ella. I texted him to bring a large coat.

"Ryan! Hey!" I heard a voice. "Oh, hey, April. What's going on?" I asked, directing my attention to my phone waiting for a response. "Not much. May said she would meet us at that old village gate later if you wanted to see some really spooky stuff," she answered. "Hey, who are you texting?" she asked me. This girl is an angel, but could she not look over my shoulder? "Oh, nobody," I lied. "You sure? You're doing that thing where you look at me for two seconds before diverting your attention," she pressured. I shrugged.

"So, are you gonna come see the gate or not?" April asked me. "Uh, sure. I need something to take my mind off them," I said, mumbling the last sentence. "Okay, come on!" she said, and started dragging me to the broken down village gate. May was already waiting for us. "Hey, Ryan. Sis. I heard that this gate was made of a special kind of metal, completely unknown from the entire world. It was so strong, only diamond could bust through it, making it super safe for the village. Of course, it got old, and like most metalics, rusted," she said in a mysterious voice. "I don't buy it," I said jokingly. "Fight me," May said. "Dont wanna," I said back.

-couple days later (Slayer stop with the time skips)-

"Hey Ryan!" Julia said. "Hey guys. What's up?" I asked. "Oh, not much. We're just hanging out really," Ella said. "Hey, Ryan, when's a good time to visit?" Thomas asked. "I'd say probably in a few weeks, there's a movie playing here I don't want you guys to miss," I answered. "Sounds great!" Ella remarked. "By the way, have you made any new friends since being in Canada?" Thomas asked again. How did I forget to tell them about April and May? "Of course I have. There are these two sisters, they're pretty awesome," I answered. "Hey, can we speak to them?" Julia asked me. "Maybe when you visit. They're probably really busy," I said. "They can't clear out their schedule for someone as important as you?" Anthony asked. "Finally. There's your voice. I was wondering when you'd realize you were missing out," I said back. "Oh, please," he said. After a while of talking, I bid them goodbye and blew a kiss towards the camera.

Anthony's POV

So, apparently, Ryan was right. Canada is freezing. As soon as we got there, I gave him a huge hug. We talked to the sisters he mentioned, April and May. Heh. That's hilarious. And they were pretty nice. The movie was awesome.

"You are going to get us souvenirs, right?" I asked Ryan, my arm around him. "Already working on it," he answered. "So, how long have you two been dating?" May asked us, adjusting her beanie. "A few years. Why?" I answered. "No reason. I'm a curious person," she said. She rested her sunglasses on her forehead, to look cool. 

"You know both you and your sister have great taste in fashion," I added. "Okay, I can see how Ryan fell for you," May continued. May was wearing her beanie, sunglasses, as well as a green hoodie and a shirt that said Born to Shine. She also had pink ovals for earrings, and was wearing jeans. April had on her black glasses, a necklace with a diamond charm, a blue sweater with a yellow star that said Starchild. She had black pants on. Both girls had their light brown hair down.

When we were about to leave, I kissed Ryan before we had to go. When we got there, Julia said, "You should surprise Ryan when he gets back. I have an idea. You could go back to your natural hair color," she said. "Okay, uh, sounds good. But we can't face-chat anymore," I said. "You're gonna have to deal with it, Anthony," she said, "Just tell him that."

A: Ay babe

R: You could at least call me by name via text...

A: Nah ;3

R: okay, what gives?

A: I have a surprise for you

R: ?

A: but it means we can't face-chat anymore

R: why???

A: if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise!

R:hhhh okay fine

A: thanks for understanding. Love ya

R: I love me too

A: you should

R: bya

After I got the hair dye washed out (by a professional), with went to see the others for their opinions. Ella and Thomas just stared at me wide eyed. "I had no idea you were a blond," Ella said. "Wow. Me neither," Thomas gaped. I shrugged and grinned.
