Whoopsie
I forgot to thank everyone for their name suggestions in the last chapter because all but two names came from you guys so thank you for all the names you suggested! If the name you suggested doesn't get picked or if Joshaya doesn't like it please don't be offended I just wanted to use some of the names you suggested.
It's been 4 years since Sabrina released my all time favorite Sabrina song "On Purpose" and it's been 4 years since Some day!

Whoopsie...
"Josh," Maya whispered, gently shaking him. She rolled her eyes when nothing happened before she said his name a little louder and shook him a little harder causing him to groan and slowly wake up blinking his eyes.
"Yeah?"
"We need to talk-"
"Now?"
"Yes now."
"But I'm sleeping."
"I'm glad your sleeping but your baby isn't letting me sleep and my mind is going a hundred miles a minute and if you don't wake up and talk to me I'm going to go crazy and murder you in your sleep. You'll be dead. I'll be in prison and Riley will be raising our baby."
Josh groaned before wiping his eyes as he sat up and gave his wide awake wife his attention. "What's wrong?"
"We need to think of a name."
"Now?" he asked in disbelief this is what she was waking him up for.
"Yes. Now. We need to think of a name."
Josh picked up his phone on the nightstand to look at the time, "It's three in the morning."
"Well your baby wants a name."
"I think the baby can wait. Let's not give it everything it wants and spoil it," Josh said, trying to get back comfortable only to have Maya hit him with a pillow.
"We need a name!"
Josh groaned sitting back up, "We don't even know if it's a boy or girl," he pointed out. "How are we suppose to give it a name?"
"I know we don't know but we are finding out tomorrow and once we find out everyone is going to have their input on what we should or shouldn't name it but if we have names decided then we can tell them no thank you we have a name."
Josh yawned, stretching his arms out, "Why can't we say no thank you without having a name?"
"Because I can't stop thinking about it."
"Fine," Josh rolled his eyes before giving in. "You start."
Maya groaned, "I don't know."
"Maya you are the one..." Josh began but stopped at the look on her face. "Okay how about we start with a boy name since we know it's a boy."
Maya rolled her eyes, wanting to point out just two second ago his excuse for not wanting to come up with a name was because they didn't know but instead she took in a deep breath. "Okay," she breathed out. "If it's a boy should we want to name him after his grandfathers?"
"What? You don't want to name him after me?"
"Mmph," Maya shrugged while grinning.
"Funny." Josh narrowed his in on his wife. "I don't know besides after me and our fathers. Is there any boy names you like?"
Maya remained quiet as she thought about it. "I kind of like Noah."
Josh nodded, "Noah's not bad. We could name him Noah Ark."
"Don't make me punch you."
"Noah Ark Matthews."
Maya rolled her eyes. "Moving on. What else?"
"Okay, what about Kyson?"
Maya slowly nodded. "Kyson is kind a cool but I don't know if it's our son's name."
Josh sighed. "How about Grayson?"
Maya shook her head. "No it's too popular...maybe we should name him after you."
"I knew you wouldn't be able to resist naming him after his daddy. Joshua junior it is," Josh grinned, teasing her, rubbing her belly.
Maya rolled her eyes, smacking his hand away. "I"m not naming him Josh junior. I meant Gabriel."
Josh nodded, smiling. "I'm good with Gabriel. We can always use Gabe as his nickname."
Maya nodded. "I kind of like it with Riley."
"Gabriel Riley for a boy?"
Maya nodded. "Maybe," she agreed but not wanting to confirm just yet but had a good idea if their baby was a boy Gabriel Riley would be his name. And for a girl?"
Josh vigorously shook his head, "I don't want to even think about our baby being a girl."
Maya rolled her eyes, "We have to. There is a fifty percent chance our baby is a girl."
"But we both agreed we think it is a boy."
"But there is still a chance it is a girl."
Josh loudly sighed, hitting the back of his head on the headboard, "Fine. Whatcha got?"
Maya shrugged, "I don't know. I kind of like the name Nola."
"Yeah that's going to be a no from me."
Maya rolled her eyes. "Okay, now your turn."
"I kind of like Sky. Spelled like the sky with no E."
"Sky?" Maya grumbled. "It's kind of boring."
"And Nola isn't?" Josh asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No and it is way more interesting then Sky. Everyone is going to assume her name is Skylar and that's boring."
"Okay, what about Everley?"
Maya shook her head. "oo popular."
Josh sighed, "Then what do you got?"
"What about Hadley?"
Josh scrunched up his face in disgust. "Hadley?" he laughed before stopping at the look on his wife's face.
"What is wrong with Hadley"
"Yeah that's a no."
Maya groaned, kicking her feet knocking the covers off of them.
Josh took her hand into his. "You know we don't have to have a name picked out? he told her gently. "Even if we don't really have a name picked out we can tell everyone we do and we are waiting to share it."
Maya bit her lip, slowly nodding.
"Let's not worry about it and enjoy finding out what our little baby is tomorrow...by sleeping."
Maya chuckled, knowing she woke her husband up from his peaceful sleep. "Okay."
"Don't worry we will come up with the perfect name for our baby."
Maya nodded, pressing a soft kiss on his lips as the two got back comfortable. Tomorrow was a big day where they finally found out what their Baby Boing is.
XOXOXOX
"Riley did a beautiful job."
Maya nodded, looking over at her husband before taking in the all the pink and blue with silver thrown in decorations all around her parent's apartment from the plates and napkins to the candy and snacks to the photo drop with Baby Boing written in silver lettering with pink and blue balloons around it where they planned to stand to do the reveal. It looked like someone threw up pink and blue all over the apartment, but Maya was happy to be able to give her best friend something to take her mind off of what was going on in her love life and if it meant having her decorate up a storm for what was suppose to be a simple gender reveal party for the family then so be it. The place looked beautiful and Riley out did herself.
She couldn't help but smile to herself at the sight of her weakness her best friend made sure to have. Flamin' Hot Cheetos and next to it dyed half pink and half blue cream cheese. Lately her biggest craving to the point where she would cry if they didn't have it for her to eat when she craved it. Her family learned the hard way to make sure they always had both in stock for her. She couldn't wait to indulge in it, but stopped herself because once she started she knew there was a chance she wouldn't stop even to find out what her baby was. They needed to get this over with so could grab the bowl of Flamin' Hot Cheetos and cream cheese and go into her room.
"Weddings may be her specialty but she may need to look into gender reveal parties."
Maya turned her attention away from her weakness to another one of her weakness, her husband, who was doing a lot better but still recovering, and agreed with him before biting her lip. "Are you ready?" she asked, nervously.
Josh looked at Maya, puzzled, "To find out we are having a boy? Oh yea."
Maya smiled, shaking her head. "You know it may not be a boy? We just filmed that video and most of the old wives' tales pointed out it is a girl even the Chinese calendar and that one is hardly ever wrong."
"Yeah but we both have had a feeling it's a boy," he pointed out.
"We have," Maya agreed, wrapping her arms around Josh'neck as his came to rest on her waist.
"And we are it's parents."
"We are."
"So that should count for something? Right?"
Maya smiled. "Let's hope," she said, pressing a kiss to his lips. "But either way we are happy?"
"Let's hope," Josh grinned.
Maya playfully rolled her eyes.
"Should we find out?"
Maya nodded, "Let's do it," she said, before looking over at Riley and giving her the signal to get the pins and balloon. She bit her lip hiding her nervous smile when Riley walked back in holding the big black balloon that held the gender of her baby.
"Alright everyone gather around and get your cameras ready because it is time to find out what Baby Boing is," Riley instructed as Maya and Josh went to their place in front of the photo drop.
Maya watched as hers and Josh's family gather around, excited.
"Before we find out," Josh began, wrapping his arm around Maya. "We want to thank you guys for everything and-" he stopped when he felt Maya get tense and her hand fly to her stomach."Maya?" he said, worriedly.
She looked up at Josh with wide eyes, "I..I-I hmm...the baby"
"What wrong?" Katy asked, starting to move closer to her daughter.
"No. No. No." Maya shook her head, stopping her mother. "Nothing's wrong," she assured everyone before looking back up at her husband. "The baby. I just felt a sharp hard kick. I think you'll be able to feel," she told him, taking his hand and placing it on her stomach and hoping the two would feel it again. She felt Josh softly apply a little pressure to her stomach before the two felt their baby.
"Oh my God" Josh murmured, smiling, his eyes on his wife as her eyes were on him while everyone else watched the scene in awe.
"Awww the baby is kicking," Riley squeezed tossing her hand up in the air as she cheered.
The happy expecting parents pulled away at the sound of a huge pop and confetti going everywhere.
Everyone stood still as they stared down at the confetti on the floor before looking over at the couple to looking at Riley to the floor in shock.
Maya's mouth dropped opened as she took in the color of the confetti on the floor before looking up at a guilt looking Riley.
"Whoopsie..." Riley winced.
Maya shook her head, shocked, as she quickly glanced at everyone's also shocked faces before looking at her husband's extremely shocked face. "Oh My God" she murmured before he shook his head and wrapped his arms around her lifting her up off the ground. "Josh, we're having a little girl," she whispered into his ear as she felt tears start to form.
"We are," he said, as he placed her back down, cupping her cheeks and placing a soft kiss on her lips.
Josh ran a hand through his hair as Maya went to hug Riley and everyone started to congratulate them. He rubbed his temples, as he stared down at the pink confetti and felt a pat on his back "I'm fuc-"
"Joshua!"
"Sorry Ma," he apologized. He glanced around the room and his eyes fell on to Aussie who was in Topanga's arms and quickly walked over to him. "Hey Aussie, I need a favor because not only are you going to have to watch out and take care of your big sister but I'm also going to need you to keep an eye out on your little cousin until I can get her into nunnery school, okay? Cool" he said, taking the little boy's hand and shaking it.
Everyone chuckled as the women shook their heads.
Maya looked at Josh amazed as he walked back over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist, "We are having a girl."
"We are," Josh smiled.
"You are going to have to chill."
"I can make no promises."
Maya shook her head as they both shared a smile knowing they are about to go on a new journey with their baby girl.
Joshaya is having a girl! Fun fact, when I wrote the last chapter I planned on them having a boy but as I was writing this chapter something just kept screaming girl so they are having a girl! I hope you enjoyed. Please leave me a review with your thoughts and if you are happy it is a girl or were you hoping for a boy. Now go listen to "On Purpose" and watch Ski Lodge 2 to celebrate 4 years! Until next time xoxo.
