Retreat
"What are we gonna do?!" Jay yelled, seeing that the villagers are hypnotized.
"For now..." Cole said, seeing that the snake leader had instructed to attack them, and were getting close to them. "We run!!!"
They ran different directions, but ended up in the same hiding place.
"What do we do?!" Jay frantically asked. "They hypnotized the whole village!"
"Calm down, Bluebell," Cole said. "I'm sure we can think of something!"
"Well, would you mind thinking faster?!" Kai asked.
"Hey, at least I'm trying to help! All you're doing is complaining!" Cole said back.
"Brothers, now is not the time to argue," Zane stepped in. "We have to stop this situation."
"I agree with Frosty over here," Jay said. "We can't let those snakes take over the village!"
"Brothers, please do mind taking this argument after we've defeated these snakes," Zane said.
Cole and Kai mumbled something, but didn't continue arguing nonetheless.
"So, how are we gonna defeat them?" Jay asked.
"There must be a way to defeat them!" Cole said. "When there's a problem, there's always a solution!"
"Too bad there's no solution for you to stop being a bad cook," Kai said.
"KAI!"
"What?! It's the truth Zane!"
"Maybe we can scare them away," Jay suggested.
"The only way we're gonna scare them it's if Cole tries to cook again."
"KAI!!!"
"Oh, sorry. My bad," Kai said sarcastically.
Zane sighed, clearly annoyed by his brothers attitude.
"Maybe we can drive them away from here," Cole said.
"But what about the villagers?" Zane said. "Would they follow them?"
"...Now that's a problem," Cole said. He then peeked to see if any hypnotized villagers or any snakes followed them. When he didn't see anyone, he looked back to Zane. "If we drive the snakes away, the villagers might follow them, and we might not be able to break the hypnotism."
"We could..." Kai started. "Follow the snakes to their base!"
"Yeah, but, we're putting the villagers in risk!" Cole said.
While Kai and Cole were in their little bickering, Jay and Zane noticed some snakes coming towards them.
"Ummm," Jay said. "Guys?" Cole and Kai didn't pay any attention to Jay and continued their little "argument." "Guys...Guys!!" Jay said a little louder.
"What?!" Cole and Kai snapped at Jay. At that moment snakes had found them. "Oh crap..."

Back at the monastery, Lloyd and Morro were talking.
"Hey, Morro?" Lloyd suddenly said. "Yeah?" Morro said.
"Why do you...hate uncle Wu?" Lloyd asked. "Ah, shit..." Morro said, slouching onto the chair he was sitting on.
Normally, Lloyd wouldn't care if Morro said a cuss word, but this time, he grew curious. Sure, he always heard Morro cuss, but he never knew what the words he said meant.
Lloyd gave him a confused look. "Shit?" he said.
Oh no he didn't! "Don't say that word!" Morro quickly said.
Lloyd grinned and Morro cursed under his breath, realizing what's coming next.
"Shit!" Lloyd exclaimed.
"I'll give you candy if you stop saying that word!" Morro said. Lloyd couldn't say "no" to that.
"Deal!" Lloyd agreed.

"It's official! I use to hate dragons, but now, I hate snakes!" Cole said.
Soon after the snakes found them, they had no choice but to fight.
"Tell me about it!" Kai said, kicking a snake out of balance.
"Ugh! How many snakes are there?!" Jay yelled, while punching a snake in the face and kicking another snake in the face.
"I do not know," Zane said, punching a snake. "But I do not think we'll be able to defeat them."
"What?! B-But we got to!" Jay sputtered, punching a snake.
"There's to many, Jay!" Cole yelled from the other side of the village. He was surrounded by 5 snakes.
Cole kicked a snake in the legs, punched another in the stomach, grabbed a snake and spinned them around and threw them to the remaining standing snakes that surrounded him.
"I gotta agree with Cole!" Kai said. "We're outnumbered!" A snake jumped on Kai, but he kicked the snake off.
"Uh...guys?" Jay said, while he was attacking a lot of snakes that approached him. "Help!!!" He got swarmed into a big wave of snakes.
Cole got to Jay first. He tried to reach him, but the snakes wouldn't let him. "Hold on, Jay!" Cole said. He ran backwards, and then ran full speed to the swarm of snakes. He did a flip when he neared the snakes. He landed somewhere in the middle of the crowd of snakes.
"Jay!" Cole yelled. "Jay! Where are you?!"
"Here...!" a barely muffled voice said from under him. Cole looked down where he standing and realized, he was standing on Jay!
"Huh, no wonder I felt that my landing was soft," Cole said. "Can you get off me?!" Jay yelled.
"Oh, yeah, sorry!" Cole said and squeezed into the other snakes. Jay was able to get back up, but the snakes tried to bring him and Cole down.
"Kai! Zane!" Cole managed to yell from the snakes that attacked him.
"Come on, Frosty!" Kai said. "We have to help them!" Zane nodded and they reached the crowd of snakes.
"Holy baloney!" Kai yelled. "Where are they?!"
"We're here!" A hand shot up from the crowd of snakes, but it didn't last long as the hand was soon broughten down.
"How are we suppose to get there?!" Kai yelled to Cole.
"I don't know! Think of a way!" Cole yelled back to Kai. Kai looked around for a way to get where Cole and Jay were. His eyes landed on some boxes that led up to a roof that was near the crowd of snakes. "Bingo!" Kai exclaimed.
Kai ran to the boxes and hopped on them. On the last box, he jumped and was able to grab the edge of the roof. He pulled himself onto the roof and ran to the other end of the roof. A few feet away from the roof was the swarm of snakes.
"Alright," Kai said to himself. "I can do this!" He took a deep breath and walked a few feet backwards. His eyes were still glued onto the swarm of snakes. He then ran onto the end of the roof and jumped onto a snakes head. The snake tried to get Kai off their head, but Kai was faster and was able to grab Cole's and Jay's hand from the swarm of snakes. He pulled them up and from there, they all ran out of the crowd of snakes.
All the snakes then looked at them and started to run towards them.
"We have to leave!" Cole said. "Come on, Zane!"
Zane followed them to the dragons and told them to head back to the monastery.
While flying away, Cole looked back at Jamanakai Village. The once peaceful village was filled by snakes. Cole then looked at his teammates. "We have to return back another time," he said. "We weren't able to defeat them, but, we have to save the village." The others nodded.
They returned to the monastery a few minutes later, and put the dragons back to the stables. They walked the stairs back to the monastery. They opened the large gates of the monastery and entered. They then closed the gates again, and they were greeted by their Sensei and Nya.
"How did it go?" Nya asked.
The ninja looked at each other in sadness. "We...We couldn't save the village..." Kai said, sadly. "Yeah, it was taken over by some talking, walking, blue and white with a bit of yellow, snakes," Jay replied.
Sensei Wu gasped. "Serpentine..." he said. The ninja looked at him confused. "Serpentine?" Kai asked, but it was already too late, Sensei Wu had already entered back to the monastery as the sun sets. "We...should get a good night's rest," Cole said. "Then we could maybe beat the...Serpentine..." The others nodded and headed towards the doors of the monastery.
At entering, they were greeted by the sofa already taken by two. Morro was asleep on the couch, and Lloyd was snuggled up against him, asleep. The snores were low. Lloyd's hood covered his small, peaceful, sleeping face.
The ninja slightly smiled at the sight as they went to their own room. Nya got a blanket and covered Lloyd and Morro with it, just for they won't get cold at night.
Meanwhile with the ninja, they were having a little conversation.
"Hey, guys?" Cole said, plopping into his bed.
"Yeah?" Kai said, getting inside his bed, covering his body with the red blankets he had.
"Do you...Do you guys think we can beat these...Serpentine?" Cole asked. The room fell dead silent.
"I don't know," Jay said, breaking the silence. He sat down on his bed, his feet swinging from the side. "They defeated us and..." Jay scratched the back of his head. "...I don't know if we'll defeat them."
"I have to agree with Jay," Zane said getting into his bed. "We were outnumbered. We'll need as much help as we need."
"Alright then," Kai said. "First thing in the morning, we quickly get ready to go kick some Serpentine ass."
"Language, Kai," Zane said.
"Well," Jay said, yawning. "Let's get some sleep. And I don't think I'm the only one who's tired from the fighting." He swung his feet onto his bed and covered himself with his blanket, trying to fall asleep. Everyone else did the same, and tried to fall asleep.
Because tomorrow, they are gonna go beat some ass...
