Jamanakai Village
The years that Morro and Lloyd had felt long. But now, they knew the evil ways of the boarding school. The school was truly cruel.
What is it that makes the school cruel? Well, one thing for sure, is that you do not want to get kicked out.
~~~~~~~~~~
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR GETTING KICKED OUT?!" a infuriated Morro yelled to a now 10-year-old Lloyd at, now no longer, Lloyd's room.
"Yeah, that's what the principal said," Lloyd said.
"WHY?!" Morro asked.
"Apparently, I'm not "bad" enough to be here," Lloyd said.
"This is like the only place we have! Where would we go?!" Morro yelled.
"I don't know, but I really, really don't want to go. The principal said their gonna give me my last beating, and I'm scared for that," Lloyd said, twiddling his fingers. According to Lloyd and Morro, the school gives very strict rules, and if one of the rules gets broken, you get a beating. That's how Lloyd is getting kicked out. ((I am soooo dark!💀😅))
"I swear if anyone lays a finger on you, I will rip off their arms and shove them up their butts!" Morro said.
"Don't worry Morro, I-I'll be fine...probably," Lloyd whispered the last part.
Morro sighed.
"Fine. Just...Just don't work yourself over when we're walking out of here. Okay?" Morro said.
Lloyd nodded.
It was silent until Lloyd said,
"Wait, you can phase through walls, right?"
"Yeah, so what of it?" Morro asked.
"Can't I just jump out from the window, and while falling, you phase through the wall and catch me at the right time?" Lloyd said.
There was another silence.
"I'm so freaking stupid!" Morro groaned.
"Don't blame yourself Morro. It was also my fault for not thinking of that years ago," Lloyd said.
"Alright, so this is a matter of life and death! Plan A) Fall out a window, possibly die, if not, injured or Plan B) stay here, get beaten and then dragged all the way to the front door and get thrown outside....I go with Plan A," Morro said.
"Sounds good with me!" Lloyd exclaimed.
They suddenly heard footsteps. They froze. Without thinking, Lloyd lunged to the window, breaking it in the process, and falling out.
Morro freaked out and quickly phased through the wall, quickly went flying down, and caught Lloyd just in time.
"We are never, I say never doing that again!" Lloyd said.
"Agreed," Morro, said putting Lloyd down.
As Lloyd's right foot contacted with the ground he immediately yelped in pain.
"What's wrong?" Morro asked.
"I don't know! But my right foot hurts!" Lloyd said, sitting down on the grass, clutching his right foot, not daring to look at it.
"Let me take a look," Morro said as he hovered over Lloyd's right foot and his eyes grew wide.
"What? What is it?"
Morro didn't reply, he only at looked with concerned in his eyes.
"What is it? It's not a good sign when you do that face! On a scale from 1-10 how bad is it?" Lloyd said.
"I'd say it's a eight point, glass stuck in foot," Morro said quickly.
"There's a glass stuck in my-what?!" Lloyd yelled.
"It's okay! It's okay! I'll just carry you out of here!" Morro quickly said as he carried Lloyd and flew the way down.
"It looks weird flying," Lloyd said.
"You'll get used to it," Morro said.
~~~~~~~~~~~
They reached a forest and Morro placed Lloyd on the grass, Lloyd leaning against a tree.
It was night, and it was completely silent. Lloyd whimpered by the pain of the glass stuck on his foot.
"Alright, Lloyd, I'm gonna quickly take out the glass, okay? Try not to scream," Morro said.
Lloyd nodded, as he closed his eyes, waiting for the pain to come by.
Morro took a deep breath before he grabbed the glass and quickly pulled it out.
Lloyd bit his lip as hard as he could and closed his eyes tighter, when the pain came by. Tears rolled down his face, the pain not going away.
"Shit!" Morro cursed as blood started to stain the green grass to red.
Lloyd, at the moment, didn't hear Morro curse, since he was just focusing onto the pain.
"Alright! Um...idea!" Morro said as he ripped part of Lloyd's cape and went to a nearby lake.
Morro stared at the lake. "Well, this is gonna hurt," Morro said as he placed the piece of the cape into the water. He hissed in pain as the water contacted with his ghost hands.
Once he was sure the cape was wet enough, he ran back to Lloyd and wrapped the piece of cape around his foot.
Lloyd whimpered in pain.
"Hey, it's okay Lloyd, it's okay," Morro said in somehwhat soothing voice.
Lloyd opened his eyes. They were stinging with tears.
"Relax. Okay? Relax," Morro said, wiping away Lloyd's tears as he sat next to him.
Lloyd nodded, trying his best to calm down. Eventually, he just fell asleep on Morro's shoulder.
Morro smiled before also falling asleep.
~~~~~~~~~
"...orro...Morro! Wake up!"
Morro groggily woke up by the sound of Lloyd's voice.
"Lloyd?" Morro said groggily, as his eyes tried to adjust to the bright sunlight.
"Yes it's Lloyd! Please wake up!" Lloyd whined.
"Alright! Alright! I'm up!" Morro said as he stood up, rubbed his eyes, and stretched.
"Can we leave the forest now? I don't really like it," Lloyd said.
"What, is it too scary for you?" Morro taunted.
"What?! Pfft-no!!" Lloyd denied.
"Yeah, yeah. Sure, shorty," Morro remarked.
"I am not short!"
"Uh, yes you are!"
"Am not!"
"Oh really? You can barely even reach your desk! And that's only 2 feet!"
"What can I say?! I'm 4'2!"
Morro rolled his eyes as he and Lloyd continued to walk.
Eventually, they heard talking.
"Do you hear that?" Lloyd asked.
"Yes, shorty," Morro said.
"For the last time! I. Am. Not. Short!"
"Uh-huh. Believe what you want," Morro said as they see some type of village.
"Wow! What is this?" Lloyd asked.
"It's called a village. Albeit, I do not know the- Oh wait! There's the name of this place!" Morro said pointing at a sign.
"'Ja..mano...nai Village'...?" Lloyd tried to say.
"Not 'Jamanonai', 'Jamanakai,'" Morro corrected.
"That's what I said. Jamanonai," Lloyd said as Morro facepalmed.
"'Ja-ma-na-kai!'" Morro separated the word into syllables.
"Oh! Jamanakai!" Lloyd exclaimed.
"Now you got it, pipsqueak!" Morro remarked.
"Don't call me pipsqueak!"
"Why? You wouldn't let me call you 'shorty', so I had to go with 'pipsqueak', simple as that!"
"....You know, sometimes I hate you..."
"Aww...don't worry, I hate you too."
"....Please tell me that was sarcasm..."
"....You got me..."
