Within a few hours their camp sight was full of FBI agents and police men. “Now can you describe what you heard again sir?” The tall man, probably in his late 30’s with a perfectly groomed mustache and an intimidating figure asked Louis.

“Well he said he was just going to the bathroom and I heard him walk away, pee, and then I heard him walking back when I suddenly heard a bunch of leaves ruffling like a struggle and a voice that sounded like it was trying to scream but something was muffling it out and then I heard dragging getting quieter until everything was silent. I came out of the tent and looked around, but he was gone. Then I heard him scream help before it was quiet again.”

“Thank you. So you boys didn’t see anyone following you or know anyone else was coming or anything?” All four boys shook their heads. “Okay. Don’t worry we are all here to work hard to find your friend. We are getting people coming in and we are going to search these entire woods.”

“Um sir?” Liam asked.

“Yes?”

“Why is the FBI here? Don’t they only come if it’s something...major?”

The man took a deep breath, “You friend is not the first one to go missing from this trail.” All four boys gasped. Zayn just sunk down into a crouching position gripping his hair trying to wrap his head around everything. Niall turned into Liam’s side seeking comfort which Liam provided. Louis just stood there frozen and terrified that he would never see his best friend again. “Do you boys have anything that might have his smell on it?”

Louis nodded before walking back to their tent and grabbing the dog. “Here. It’s his, he takes it everywhere and was cuddling with it before he got out of the tent.”

“Thank you.” The man nodded and walked away.

Louis turned around to see the rest of the boys staring at him. “How you doing Lou?” Liam asked.

“I’m fine. I believe in these men and know they will find him and he will be safe and come home.”

The boys just stared on. Zayn stood back up and let out a loud sigh, “Well I don’t know about you boys, but I’m getting ready to go help hunt for him. I want Louis’ statement to be true.”

Zayn marched off determined. Liam and Niall nodded before following behind him. Louis still just stood there playing with his hands. He hoped his statement was true too, he really wants his Hazza back. Once he gathered his thoughts he walked back over to the tent grabbing his dog with Harry’s name on it and joining the boys in the black SUV with Agent Summers heading to town to get together a search party. The ride for the most party was silent other than a few questions ask by the other boys. When they arrived they all piled in and several other people from the area were there. Louis saw Harry’s mom and instantly ran over and hugged her. “I’m so so sorry Anne it’s all my fault I should of never let him go out there by himself.”

Anne just hugs him back with tears in her eyes shushing him, “Lou honey it’s okay this isn’t your fault. There is no way you could’ve predicted this would happen and if you went out that would be two of you missing and the other boys wouldn’t of known until morning.”

“I’m still so sorry.”

“I know you are Louis, but your my baby boy too you know and I’m glad your safe and I know we are going to find him.”

Louis finally broke down and started crying. Jay came over at that point and pulled her son into her arms. “BooBear it’s okay.”

The other boys started letting silent tears roll down and walked over pulling Louis into one big warm embrace. They stayed like that for a little while before composing themselves. “I want my Hazza to come home.”

Agent Gipson walked over at this time. “We are going to bring him home, don’t worry. Now you all are over 18 so you are more than willing to participate in this search if you are feeling up to it. We could use all the help we can get.”

“We’re ready when you are.” Gipson nodded his head indicated them to follow. 

They all gather in a large room before another agent began speaking and a picture of Harry flashing on the screen behind him. “Me and my fellow agents will spilt everyone here into teams who will go with an officer and a dog and one of my agents. You will need backpacks to keep water and a snack in because this will be an all day project, a little into the night, and could go on for a few days. We need you to keep your eyes peeled for anything suspicious. I don’t care if you think a rock is out of place or a pile of leaves look funny to you, point it out! This man has been abducting children over the past three years and in past records we assume he only keeps them for a week before killing them and moving on so we need to work hard and fast. It is likely that this man as found some kind of hiding place on the trail that probably goes unnoticed so like I said if something doesn’t seem right point it out. There is an echo out there and if he is underground his voice wont travel far and it will be quiet so we ask that you shout his name and wait at least 30 seconds and listen for a response before calling out again. There is also this boy and girl.” Two more pictures flashed on the screen of kids maybe, 10 and 12 years old. “They are brother and sister who went missing about two days ago further up the trail meaning that somewhere between were this family and these boys were are probably where his hide out is so that helps, but we can never be sure. If anyone thinks this assignment is getting to any of you you will be asked to return here and help out in other ways. We need sound and focused minds out there. We thank you all for your help. Now, lets go find these kids.”
