"I know this is sudden, and I don't know you very well... so if it's OK if you say no..."

Well actually I do know her well but she doesn't know that.

"Chat Noir, how could I say no? I.. I love you too." She starts crying then, silent tears streaming down her face, but upon that crying face was a beautiful radiant smile that I never want to dissapear.

"Marinette.. Mari are you ok?"

"Hehe~ of course Chat, silly cat."

And then we just sit there, both grinning like fools, this must be the happiest moment of my life, the happiest day... the happiest day, huh? How could I forget today. Today was the day..

The day my mother disappeared.

"I'm sorry Mari, but I gotta go now.. I'll visit you some other time."

"Is everything alright?"

"Of course." I finish with a smile. I then leave her balcony, jumping from roof to roof. I then land over in an abandon park, the last place I was with my family.

Hawk Moth's POV

"Ahh the time has finally come... I will take something important away from you Chat Noir... just as the world did to me."

I sit there for while, or a little bit, I don't really know, until I hear footsteps behind me. I jump, and look around, but it's only Mari.

"Mari? What are you doing here?"

How did she get here so fast?

"I was gonna scare you but you ruined it silly cat!~"

"Marinette, seriously."

"Chat I know for a fact that everything is not 'all right'. Something happened, am I right?"

"Mari, it's not safe for you to be alone out at night."

"Please Chat.."

"*Sigh* Ok then... let's sit down."

"Good!" She says with her smile that can light up the world, or rather my world.

I turn around, but then I hear rustling behind me and turn slowly turn around, thinking Mari is trying to scare me again, but when I turn around she's not there.

"Mari? Mariiii! Marinette this isn't funny! Marinette! Marinette!"

Suddenly, a bunch of butterflies form in a shape, of well a butterfly, and then a voice comes out of it, and not just anyone's voice, Hawk Moth's voice.

"Hello Chat Noir. Nice of you to join me, or rather nice of your little girlfriend! Mwhahaha!"

"Give her back!"

"In exchange for your Miraculous, I will be delighted to give this pesky girl back."

"I won't."

"Then you won't mind this haunting your dreams every night.."

I hear a loud piercing scream that I know is Mari's.

"Stop it!"

"Then all you have to do is give me your Miraculous."

"Chat! If you give him your Miraculous I won't love you any more, or talk to you, or-" I hear her say.

"Shut up stupid girl!" Hawk Moth says, and then a small whimper after that.

"Remember what will happen, so decided soon Chat Noir." Then the butterflies spread apart, and start flying off in one direction.

Maybe I should give him my Miraculous, no then you'll get mad, this is for the best, after all I'll save you before he gets the chance to do anything, because I love you.
