Chapter 9
*Bailey's POV*
After I changed out of my swimsuit, I changed into my usual training clothes. I put a silver utility belt around my waist to put my Lightsaber on it since I figured that Kylo and I would be training with our Lightsabers. I headed down to the arena room to train with Kylo. When I arrived at the arena room, I saw Kylo standing by the table in the center of the arena. I walked up to him and he said, "Before we do your warm-ups, I thought I let you eat a little something first before we get started." He, then, handed me a red apple. I chuckled as I took the apple. "Thank you, Kylo. That's very sweet of you. Red ones are my favorite." I said and I gave Kylo a kiss on the cheek and I sat on a bench to eat the apple.
Kylo sat next to me and said, "I thought we could do some more Lightsaber training after your warm-ups." I looked at him after I swallowed part of the apple and said, "I want to try concentrating on the Lightsaber again." "I don't know if that's a good idea, Bailey." Kylo said, as he was looking at the left side of my face, with a worried look. I knew what he was looking at. The bruise under my left eye. I could tell that Kylo was worried that I might get hurt again, but I wasn't going to chicken out.
"I know what you're looking at, Kylo. I understand. It hurts. But, please, give me another chance. Besides, it was my fault for concentrating my Force on the Lightsaber too hard." I said, as I took another bite of the apple. Kylo looked away for a moment, to think, and, then, he looked at me and said, "Okay. I'll let you try it again." I smiled. "Thank you, Kylo."
After I was finished with the apple, I took my Lightsaber off my utility belt and I set it on top of the table, and I stood about ten feet away from the table. Kylo was standing two feet away from behind me with his hands behind his back. "Remember, concentrate your Force on your Lightsaber as much as you can and let it come to you. Don't concentrate on it too much. Take deep breaths if you need to. But more importantly...be careful and do your best, Bailey." He said. "Thanks, Kylo." I said.
I held my arm out towards my Lightsaber and I started concentrating my Force on it. Once again, nothing happened until my Lightsaber started shaking. I tried to concentrate a little harder, but I started to give up. "You're doing good, Bailey. Remember, take deep breaths and don't concentrate too hard on it." Kylo said, from behind me. I nodded.
I took a deep breath and I started to soften my concentration with my Force. My Lightsaber started to shake even more. I continued to concentrate harder and softer at the same time until my Lightsaber flew off the table and it was heading towards me, as fast as lightning. Then, as if it was happening in slow motion, I caught my Lightsaber. I gasped as I looked at my Lightsaber in my hand. I actually did it. I used the Force to bring my Lightsaber to me.
I turned to face Kylo and I saw him smiling at me. He, then, walked up tome and he put a hand on my shoulder. "You now know how to use the Force within you, Bailey. I'm so proud of you." He said. I smiled back at him. "Thank you, Kylo. Well, what do you say we get started on my Lightsaber training?" I asked. "We shall...after you do your warm-ups." Kylo said, smirking. I chuckled. "Knew I wasn't gonna get away with that." I said and Kylo and I ended up laughing.
After I was done with my weight-lifting and stretching warm-ups, Kylo and I, basically, worked on my Lightsaber training almost the whole day. I was still getting the hang of using a Lightsaber. I mean, I struggled a couple times when I was dueling with Kylo, but I didn't give up. It was night time. Kylo and I sat down on a bench to take a break after we were done.
A couple minutes later, Kylo got up and stood in front of me. "Now, are you ready to teach me how to dance?" He said, as he held his gloved hand out towards me. I chuckled and answered, "Yes." Then, I took his hand and we walked to the center of the arena, still holding hands. Kylo and I, then, released our hands and we stood in front of each other.
"I'll show you how to ballroom dance. First, put one hand on my waist, I'll put my hand on your shoulder, and, then, we hold our other hands together." I said. "Okay." Kylo said, softly. We clasped our hands together, while Kylo put his other hand on my waist, and I put my other hand on his shoulder. We, then, stepped closer to each other. "Now all you do is take one step forward and I take a step back and we keep on doing it. Keep your eyes on me while we dance." I said. "Okay."
After I instructed Kylo, we began dancing. We started off slow. I was very impressed with how Kylo started dancing. He kept his eyes on me since the beginning. It's like he's already danced before in his life, which I highly doubt that ever happened.
As we kept dancing, we decided to dance at a normal speed. But, then, Kylo accidentally stepped on my foot. "Ow." We, then, stopped dancing. "I'm sorry, Bailey. Are you hurt?" Kylo asked, sounding concerned. "I'm okay, Kylo. It happens. Trust me, my feet get stepped on a lot when I'm dancing with someone." I said, smiling. "Okay, good. Shall we continue?" Kylo asked. "We shall." I said. Then, we continued.
As we were dancing, I would show Kylo some tricks while dancing. Like lifting me in the air, dipping me down, and doing the spin out move. Even while we were dancing, I hummed a little tune to make our dancing more enjoyable. He accidentally stepped on my feet a couple more times. He apologized, but I told him that I didn't mind.
We stopped dancing. "I'll teach you one more dance. It's really easy and simple." I said. "Okay." "All you have to do is put both of your hands on my waist while I wrap my hands around your neck and, then, we just sway around, slowly." I explained. "Alright." Kylo said, softly. Then, he put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my hands around his neck and we began swaying, slowly. As we were slow dancing, Kylo leaned his forehead on mine and he whispered, "I like this one way better." I blushed and I felt that warm sensation in my body as our noses touched and, then, we pressed our lips together.
A few seconds later, we pulled away from our kiss and we stopped dancing. "Well, Bailey, I guess we're done for today. You can go get dinner." Kylo said. "Okay. Thank you, Kylo." I said, as I walked towards the door and I left the arena room and I headed to the cafeteria to get dinner. After I got my dinner, I headed back to my room.
I ate my dinner, then, after that, I took a shower, and I put my nightclothes on. When I took the towel off my head, there was a knock at the door. I walked to the door, opened it, and I saw Kylo standing outside with his hands behind his back. "Kylo. Please, come in." I said, as I gestured him to come in, and he walked in.
I closed the door and I turned towards him and asked, "What's up, Kylo?" "I didn't get the chance to thank you for teaching me how to slow dance, Bailey, so I thought that I would come here and tell you." Kylo said. "Oh, you're welcome, Kylo. I was very impressed with your dancing." I said, as I sat on the side of my bed, looking up at Kylo. "But I feel bad for stepping on your feet, though." Kylo said, looking down. "It's alright, Kylo. I'm fine. I told you that I didn't mind." I said.
"But I...I..." Kylo was loss for words as his face was turning pinkish-red and he sat on the edge of my bed as he began speaking again, "I wanna make it up to you. Do you mind, Bailey?" "I...I guess so." I said, confused, while I was blushing. "Okay. Could you set your feet on your bed and could you lay down?" Kylo asked. "Um...sure." I said, as I laid down and I set my feet on my bed. Kylo, then, started removing his gloves. "What are you gonna do?" I asked him. "Just relax." He said, softly. I was curious, yet nervous of what he was going to do.
Kylo, then, put his hands on my right foot and he started massaging it. I, then, let out sigh of relief. It felt so good. Kylo had such strong hands. "How does it feel?" Kylo asked, while he was still massaging my foot. "It feels so good." I said, sighing. Five minutes later, Kylo stopped massaging my right foot and he started massaging my left foot for five minutes. It was so relaxing. I really appreciated Kylo for doing that for me.
As soon as Kylo was done massaging my foot, he got up from the edge of the bed and he sat next to me on my side. He leaned forward and he caressed my cheek with his hand as he looked at me with lust in his eyes. I looked at him. "Stay with me?" I asked, softly. "Of course." He said, softly, and he closed his eyes as he pressed his warm, soft lips against mine. Kylo laid on top of me and I closed my eyes while I wrapped my arms around his neck as our kiss was starting to be more deeper and passionate. He kissed me on the cheek, jawline, under my ear, and, then, my neck as I tangled my fingers in his soft, thick hair.
We kissed for what it seemed like an eternity until Kylo got up. I sat up on my knees and I saw him removing his boots, his utility belt, and, then, his tunic, exposing his bare, muscular chest. God, he's so attractive! He laughed as he sat on my bed. "You really think I'm attractive?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow. "You read my mind, didn't you?" I asked. He smirked. Then, I covered my face with my hands and I laughed. "I'm so embarrassed." I said, through my hands. Then, Kylo, gently, took my hands off my face and he held them. "Don't be embarrassed. If you say that I'm attractive, then, I'll say that you're beautiful." He said. I smiled and blushed. "I don't feel beautiful with this bruise under my eye." I said. He smiled. "I don't feel attractive with this scar on my face." Kylo said. We laughed.
Then, we both went under the covers and we laid on our sides and we cuddled close to each other with Kylo embracing me. I laid my head against his chest and I could hear his heart beating. "I love you." I whispered. "I know." Kylo whispered back and he placed soft kisses on my head. We both drifted off into sleep.
