Chapter 1
*Bailey's POV*
I woke up with my vision blurry. All I could see was lights on the ceiling. Was I home? Did I pass out on my sister's couch last night and forgot to turn off the lights? I, slowly, tried to move, but I felt my wrists and ankles were restrained to something. My eyes widen. I tried to move my body, but I felt like I was on top of a cold, vertical, metal table. My eyes had a clear vision now. That's when my memory came back from what I saw the last time. I squirmed around on the table trying to free myself, but I was trapped. I even noticed that my cell phone and my watch were gone.
"You're awake." A robotic voice said from behind me. I recognized that voice. I looked around and I saw the man in black walk in front of me with the mask on. He stopped and faced me with his hands behind his back. I was breathing heavily. I was scared.
"Where am I?" I asked. "You're at the First Order Base. You're my guest." The man in black said. Guest? I was confused. "Where's my family?" I asked another question. "They're not here." "Who are you, then?" I, yet again, asked another question. "You should know, the girl who asks so many questions." The man in black said. "I don't. In fact, I don't even know who or what you are with the mask on your face." I said.
The man in black hesitated at first, but, then, he put both of his hands on his mask, making a hissing sound as the front mouthpiece shifted upwards, and he removed the mask, revealing his true human face. He was a young man. He looked like he was in his late twenties. His eyes were dark brown, he had jet black shoulder length wavy hair, he had pale skin, reddish-pink lips, and he had a scar across his right face. I gasped as I looked at him. I had to admit that he's handsome, but at the same time, I was scared since he's my abductor. I gulped and continued breathing heavily. He walked over to a small table with what looked like ashes on it and he set his mask on top of it and he walked towards my left side, looking at me as I looked at him.
"In case you didn't know, I'm Kylo Ren. I'm the Dark Warrior and the Commander of the First Order." He said. His voice was deep, but at least it's not robotic. "What's your name?" Kylo asked. "It's Bailey." I said. "Bailey...what a beautiful name." He muttered. I, lightly, blushed when I heard him say that, but, then, I shook my head and I looked at him, sternly.
"Look, Kylo Ren, I don't care who you are or what the First Order is, I want to know why you brought me here." I said, sternly. "You're here because you're Force-Sensitive." Kylo explained. I furrowed my eyebrows. I was confused. What does 'Force-Sensitive' mean? "It's an energy field created by all living things. It makes those stronger from within whoever possesses the Force. I read your mind, just like I did just now to answer your question, back on Earth that you're Force-Sensitive. I felt it within you, Bailey." He said. This was weird. I'd never knew I had a special power within me.
"But yet, I wonder if you have anything to do with the Resistance. You may be a girl from Earth, but you still could be part of the Resistance." Kylo said. "I don't know anything about the Resistance. I don't even know what it is." I said. Kylo, then, leaned in towards my left ear and whispered, "We shall see about that." That sent shivers down my spine.
I turned my head away from him. Then, my head turned towards him, without him touching me, making me look into his dark brown eyes. He, then, slightly, leaned back and put his hand close to my head, almost touching it. I started feeling that same strong energy that I felt in my head from before. It felt like he was reading my mind. I was whimpering. "Don't be afraid. Lying to me only makes it worse." Kylo said. "I'm not lying." I said, trembling. "We'll see about that." He said, as he was beginning to read my mind.
"I see. Your mind is full of happiness. Sadness. Anger. Fear. Love. Hopes and dreams. I see your family. You desperately desire someone to love, yet, men have rejected you in the past. But I don't see anything in your mind that has to do with the Resistance or any knowledge of the Force." He said, as he kept reading my mind. I felt tears running down my cheeks as he kept digging deeper in my mind. It felt so tight and painful. "Please, stop." I said, softly. But Kylo kept reading my mind.
I felt all this energy building up inside my body, but it wasn't coming from Kylo, it was coming from me. Anger and emotions. "Interesting. Very intriguing." Kylo said. I looked deeper into his eyes. Now I felt like I had to release this energy. "Back. Off!" I shouted and released that energy from within me, which caused Kylo to slide backwards and hit the wall behind him. My head fell backwards as I took a couple of deep breaths, feeling relieved and exhausted. Kylo looked at me, shocked. I was shocked myself. "It's not possible. You're telling the truth, but the Force within you...You resisted me." Kylo said, quietly.
"Now that you know that I'm telling the truth, can I please go home? Please..." I said. "I'm afraid that's not possible since we're no longer on Earth. As I said before, we're at the First Order Base on the arctic planet, Creatune, which is millions of light-years away from Earth." Kylo said. I felt my heart stopped beating and my blood felt cold. I felt tears running down my cheeks. "You...you took me away from my family." I said, but, then, Kylo waved his hand at me and I blacked out.
*Kylo's POV*
I waved my hand at Bailey and she collapsed on the interrogation table, unconscious. I, then, put my mask on, and I left the interrogation room. I ordered a Stormtrooper to guard the door as I walked down the hallway. She wanted to go home, but as I told her, 'she's useful' because of her Force. Yet, I wasn't expecting the Force within her to be as strong like mine. I walked down the hallway until I stopped in front of the sliding door.
It opened and I entered the room, walking down a runway until I stopped at the end of it. I took off my mask and I looked up and summoned Supreme Leader Snoke. The thirty feet hologram of Supreme Leader Snoke appeared.
"Kylo Ren, what brings you here?" He spoke. "Supreme Leader, I have news." I said. "Well, what it is?" "I found a girl from the planet, Earth, and she is Force-Sensitive, yet she has no knowledge of it." I explained. "I see. What else?" He asked. "Supreme Leader, her Force is strong within her, like mine. She's probably stronger than that scavenger, Rey. She resisted me as I was reading her mind." I said. Snoke seemed shocked and disappointed. "The Earth girl with no knowledge of the Force resisted you?!" He said, angrily. "Again, she is strong with the Force that she has within her. She's untrained, Supreme Leader." I said.
There was a long pause until Snoke spoke, "Is she part of the Resistance?" He asked. "No, sir. She doesn't have any knowledge about the Resistance or the First Order either. Once I learned that she is Force-Sensitive when I found her, I had the idea of bringing her here as she can be useful for the First Order." I explained. "Then, Kylo Ren, you will train this girl. Teach her about the use of the Force and let her know what the First Order is and convince her to join the Dark Side when she is ready before the Resistance finds out about her sooner or later." Snoke said. "I will do what ever you say, Supreme Leader." I said. "Remember, Kylo Ren, don't let this girl weaken you. Remember what I've always told you of what weakens you." He said. "I do, Supreme Leader, it won't happen." I said. "Good." Snoke said, echoing, as the hologram faded.
I put my mask back on and I turned around, walked down the runway, and exited out of the room as I headed back to the interrogation room. I walked down the hallway until I reached the interrogation room. I told the Stormtrooper to leave and I entered the room, where Bailey was lying on the interrogation table, still unconscious. I had to admit, she's very beautiful. She had gorgeous short wavy shoulder length blonde hair. Even though her eyes were closed, her blue eyes are so mesmerizing. There was something about her that made me have some kind of feeling that I've never felt before. But I shook my head. I needed to focus.
I walked in front of her and I waved my hand at Bailey, where she was starting to wake up. I stood in front of her with my hands behind my back. She opened her eyes and looked at me, with her eyes watery. "You didn't let me say goodbye to my family. I'll never see them again." She said, as I saw the tears running down her cheeks. I watched her for a few seconds until I twisted my hand and the restraints around her wrists and ankles were released by the Force. She let out a sigh of relief as her arms and legs were loose and she started rubbing her wrists.
"I'll take you to your room." I said. She looked at me, confused. "My room?" She asked. "Would you rather stay on the interrogation table or better yet, a detention cell?" I asked her. "No." "Then, follow me." I said, as she got up from the table and we exited out of the interrogation room and we walked down the hallway to her room.
As we were walking down the hallway, I could sense that she was frightened as a group of Stormtroopers walked past us, looking at her. As we stopped in front of her room, I turned to her and I said, "I...I hope you like it here." Then, I opened the door with my Force and I gestured her to walk inside with me following behind her.
She looked around the room until I spoke, "There's some new clothes for you in your dresser and closet. If you need anything, my room is right across from yours or you can ask any of the nearby Stormtroopers." She turned around and looked at me confused. "The men in the white armor are called 'Stormtroopers' and their white guns are called 'Blasters'. Tomorrow, we will begin your training." I said to her.
Then, I looked down at her tiny silver heart necklace that she had around her neck. I held onto the heart and she looked down. "For starters, let's make sure you won't have any distractions." I said, as I, quickly, snatched the necklace off her neck, with her looking at me with a shocked look on her face.
I turned around and headed towards the door, but, then, I turned to face Bailey one more time. "I highly recommend you get some sleep now as our training will start at seven in the morning. Don't even try to escape because I could sense where you are and I will find you. For now on, you belong to the First Order." I said and walked out of her room, closing her door behind me.
*Bailey's POV*
I watched Kylo walk out of my room, closing the door, and, then, I, slowly, sat on the edge of my twin size bed. I was shocked that he took my necklace that my mom gave me and that I'm staying at this First Order Base forever with this monster who took me away from my family and he's training me tomorrow morning.
I looked around my room and everything was black, even the bed. It looked depressing. I looked at the ceiling and the ceiling lights were shining tiny dots. They looked like stars. I got up and walked over to the dresser, where a black shirt and black shorts were laid out. They're probably my night clothes. I changed out of my clothes and I put on my night clothes.
I, then, walked back to my bed, where I, then, laid on top of the covers, in a fetal position, thinking about my family. More tears were streaming down my face. "I'm so scared." I talked to myself, softly, until I burst out crying, while I covered my face with the covers.
*Kylo's POV*
I leaned my ear against Bailey's door, without my mask on, as I heard her crying. I looked at her necklace on my gloved hand. 'Maybe I shouldn't have taken her necklace. I hate hearing her cry. I've taken her away from her family, now I made things worse.' I thought to myself. But, then, I shook my head and gripped the necklace. 'No. She needs to suck it up and be ready for training tomorrow morning. Remember what Snoke said.' I thought to myself again and I walked back to my room.
