Louis wakes up sweating and screaming, he sits up in bed trying to breathe

"It's okay Lou, relax you're safe, everything is fine, you're safe" Scott reassures as he tries to calm Louis

"Another one?" Andy asks as he comes into the room again, Louis oxygen levels notifying him of an emergency

"Yeah" Scott and Harry say regrettably

"Lou, I'm just going to swap out your oxygen in your nose for the mask okay, just relax" Andy tells him

Louis has trouble catching his breath back due to the pneumonia.

"I don't want it" Louis fights, he's still trying to calm down

Harry gets behind Louis, knowing that's how to calm him down quickly, he pulls Louis against his chest and holds the mask to Louis face

"Just breathe, it's okay" Harry tells him

Louis gives in and finally relaxes, his heart rate going back to normal again

"That's it Lou" Andy says

It's quiet for a little while, Andy watching Louis stats to make sure they stabilise, it takes a little longer as this is Louis third nightmare in four hours

"I'm so tired" Louis says upset

"I know kiddo, is it the same dream?" Andy asks

"No, sometimes he kills me, sometimes he kills Harry and Scott" Louis says as he grips Scott's hand tightly

"It's okay, I'm here, Harry is here, we would kick Stanley's arse before he got anywhere near any of us okay" Scott says trying to lighten the mood

Louis half smiles

"I'll give you a stronger sedative so you can have a good rest okay, you won't dream" Andy says

"Can I have them forever?" Louis asks cutely and they chuckle

"We can see what Kim says about such things hey" Andy winks at Louis.

He gives Louis a sedative and he's out like a light thankfully

Harry and Scott lay Louis down and tuck him back into bed, hoping to get some sleep before he wakes again.

Louis nightmares don't ease up much, even talking to Kimberly only helps so much. It's starting to take a toll on his recovery and Louis becomes distant with everyone.

"Louis, kiddo, I want to talk to you about something" Andy says a week and a half into Louis stay at the hospital.

Louis is just lying in bed looking out the window, watching the rain fall down.

Louis looks towards Andy and sighs, he slowly sits up in bed and Andy sits opposite him.

Harry and Scott are tidying the room up and folding Louis clothes

"Boys, I'd like you to be part of this decision too" Andy then says looking at Harry and Scott

They stop what they are doing and move towards the bed, sitting next to Louis

"What's wrong?" Harry asks Andy concerned

"Nothing Haz, just, we all know Louis isn't doing the best being here, the nightmares are still consistent, his anxiety is through the roof. Physically I would like Louis to stay a few more days, his arm is still a little infected but, I think it's better if he continues his recovery at home" Andy finishes

Louis perks up at this news

"Really?" Louis asks

"Really" Andy says smiling

"Are you sure?" Scott asks

"I've spoken to Kim and we both agree it's what's best for Louis at this point" Andy says

"Can I leave now?" Louis asks as he takes the oxygen out of his nose

"Whoah, hang on, hang on" Andy chuckles

"There's still rules you need to abide by okay, you need to rest and take it easy. Take your medication. No work for at least another two weeks. Understand" Andy tells him pointedly

"Yeah, yeah got it" Louis says, he just wants to leave

"Lou, this is serious, okay, you need to listen and understand that you need to rest" Harry says seriously

"I know how to look after myself H, I've been alone since I was 14, I can do things" Louis says a little frustrated

"Well you're not on your own now, you have us and we will be making sure you're doing everything Andy says" Scott says pointedly

Louis doesn't answer, he thought Scott and Harry would be leaving now they've caught Stanley and the case is over.

Andy goes on talking to Harry and Scott about everything Louis will need, he then takes Louis drips out and sends Louis to go get changed.

Louis does so slowly, he's still quite sore and doing things one handed isn't the best.

When it's time to go, Harry and Scott escort him and their bags out to the car, it's stormy and cold and when they get inside the rover, Scott puts the heat straight on.

"Looking forward to getting that fire of yours going when we get home Lou" Harry says smiling.

Louis is quiet,

"What's wrong darling?" Scott asks curiously

"Nothing" Louis says quietly

"Louis" both boys says sternly

Louis sighs

"I just...you don't have to come home with me, I'm fine, you can leave now the case has finished, if you wanted to" Louis says as he looks out the window trying to appear nonchalant

"Baby, we don't want to leave, we've told you this before, we're not going anywhere" Harry says with conviction

"Yeah, but that was before you had to look after me, before my nightmares and everything" Louis tells them 

"We're sorry if we made you think we might leave, we're sorry about last time, but Lou, we promise we don't want to go anywhere, we want to be next to you, looking after you. We love you and want to be with you" Harry says

"We know we haven't discussed it properly and it's your house in the end, but we kind of got the feeling you didn't want us to move out" Scott says gently

"You don't have to stay for me" Louis says shyly

"Louis, we want to move in, how much clearer do we need to be" Harry says as he turns in his chair to smile widely at Louis

Louis blushes

"I'm hoping you want us to move in too?" Harry says in jest

"Yeah, I would like that" Louis says half smiling cutely

"Glad we got that settled" Scott chuckles

"Don't you have a penthouse though? Like do you even like my house?" Louis asks

"We love your house baby, and we can rent our penthouse out or sell it or something" Scott says

"Okay" Louis says and he can't help the smile that takes over his face,

When they pull up at home Louis feels mixed emotions, everything happened here, in his sanctuary. He doesn't want to scar his dream house with those bad memories and he wants to create new ones with Harry and Scott.

When they get inside, Louis relaxes, it's so good to be home. Harry goes to put the fire on and  Scott takes the bags to the laundry to sort out later, before he's coming back and escorting Louis to the comfy lounge room. He sits Louis down and puts a blanket over him.

"Now let's get some takeout and watch a movie hey" Scott says smiling

Harry finishes the fire and turns around smiling.

"Back to the Future?" Harry asks knowing its Louis favourite

Louis smiles

"How about Home Alone, cause it's nearly Christmas and stuff" Louis says smiling

The boys chuckle

"Sounds perfect, just what we need "  Scott and Harry say as they go to organise dinner, change and get ready to snuggle with Louis.

When they are all snuggled together Louis feels content and he's so happy to be home, he feels so relaxed already.

The boys manage to get Louis to eat nearly all of his dinner, Mostly because they had to hand feed him because he can only use one arm.

"If this is how we get you to eat every night consider or done" Harry smirks as he feeds Louis another mouthful.

Louis blushes,

"Don't be shy Lou, we love it" Scott announces

Louis pushes Scott with his good arm and they laugh.

"So Lou, do you have plans for Christmas? When do you put your tree up? It's nearly December" Harry asks happily

"Harry loves Christmas Louis, he's a sucker for it, at home anyway, don't let the squad find out" Scott winks at Louis who chuckles

It's nice to know the boys become soft for certain things, including himself

"Well, since my parents died, I don't really put up a tree or anything. I, don't have family so I donate to the orphanage every year and watch some Christmas movies and that's usually it" Louis says shyly.

The boys look to Louis upset

"Lou, I'm so sorry, we didn't mean to bring it up like that" Scott says

"Oh it's fine, I've been on my own at Christmas for 7 years, the first one was hard but after that it got easier" Louis says

"Well this year we're getting a tree and we are celebrating" Harry says

"Really!" Louis asks kind of excited

"Absolutely, we normally have Christmas with Harry's mum, since my parents don't really have much to do with me since I came out" Scott says

"I'm sorry Scott" Louis says upset

"It's fine Lou, it's been years now and it's their loss. Harry's mum more than makes up for it" Scott smiles at Harry

"My mum will love you Lou, just a warning, she's extremely cuddly" Harry says Smiling and Louis chuckles.

"We usually invite Drew and Edward, Andy and Kim, as all their family is overseas so they don't get home as much. I cook and we have a great Christmas dinner together" Harry smiles

"Are there presents?" Louis asks cutely

The boys laugh.

"There's always presents baby" Scott says lovingly

Louis smiles

"So do we have it here?" Louis asks

"Well, if you're okay with that, your place is actually perfect" Harry says

"Only if it's our place" Louis then says with a slight smirk

Harry and Scott beam at Louis and kiss him senseless, so happy that things are falling into place.
