Thunderclan Survives
Scarpaw's P.O.V
I was padding through the forest when I heard other paw steps. I wonder who that is? I crouched down and saw a group a cats that looked like the size of an apprentice. I quietly stalked forward and leaped onto the leader of the group. "Please get off of me. We want to join your clan." The gray tom pleaded. "Fine." I mumbled. "Thank you. My name is Rain and this is Razor, Fire, Fern, Bracken, Rock, Tiger, and Dust." Rain explained. We walked in silence until we reached a clearing. Cats glared as we walked past as if I was with the group too. "Who are these cats Scarpaw?" asked Bramblestar. "These cats wish to join u.........us." I stammered. He looked over the rogues and called to his deputy, Squirrelflight, and asked her if they should be able to join. She looked at them too and she looked surprised at Rain. My best friend,Leopardpaw, looked uncertain at me and the rogues.
"They are all welcome to join Thunderclan." Bramblestar yowled breaking the silence. After their ceremonies Leopardpaw, Razorpaw, and I sat by our den looking at the warriors sharing tongues. "What do you guys usually do around here?" Razorpaw asked calmly. "Well we usually work on fighting moves because Shadowclan is trying to rule the forest again." Leopardpaw explained rolling his eyes. Razorpaw didn't seem like a bad tom, and I wouldn't want to fight him. My claws were long but his claws were as long as half of a mouse's tail. I wanted to help the new apprentices feel welcomed, but I had my own business to take of. I hope we become friends Razorpaw but I will betray you in the end if you don't join us. I thought going to my nest.
That night I woke up in the Dark Forest with a black she-cat glaring at me. "Welcome back Scarpaw." Snowtuft greeted him. There were a lot more cats than last time I'd been here. "Tonight we will be showing off our skills and become warriors tomorrow." He said grinning. He matched us all up and I was with the black she-cat. "Hi my name is Lightningpaw. Nice to meet you Scarpaw." She murmured to me. I nodded a greeting back. I wondered why her name was Lightningpaw but then I saw the bright golden stripe along her back as if it was sun. It blinded me for a second then I looked back at her in the eyes she was on the other side of the battle training. She was ready with her claws ready and her amber eyes were locked on my underbelly. I unsheathed my long claws but she was too quick. She sliced my side and I tried to dodge her attacks but I couldn't see where I was the blood kept trickling down my face and burning my eyes. I stumbled a few times before I tried to find her but all I could see was one blurry tree in the battle area and Snowtuft looking at me eagerly. Then she landed flat on top of my back with her claws digging into my back. I held in a yelp and wince of pain. Snowtuft looked at Lightningpaw pleased and then she left. "You have a lot to learn young warrior." He sneered clawing my face one more time. His claws hurt more than Lightningpaw's did but i guess i deserved it. "Oh and go to the river and take a look at yourself your name suits you as always." He growled back before vanishing into the shadows. When I got to the river I could hardly see myself but I definitely saw what he was talking about. I had more scars over my face and they were all over my face. The fresh blood trickled down my face and I woke up in tears, in Jayfeather's den. "Oh good your up with all these new scars. I put cobwebs on your new wounds so just rest, I told Foxleap that you will miss training today because your really battered up. I just wanted to cry more but I knew I shouldn't even be crying because the scars didn't hurt but he wanted revenge on Lightningpaw now and when I was done with her she would be sorry.
"Hey Scarpaw what happened to your face?" Leopardpaw asked. "Nothing ok!" I snapped at him. Leopardpaw and Razorpaw looked at him confused and the. padded to their mentors. Razorpaw was a new apprentice so I wouldn't fall behind in training at least. I thought. "Hey Scarpaw. Can you battle train today," Razorpaw asked the. quickly added, "You're the best fighter I know." I could tell Leopardpaw was going through some emotions that I could recognize and he usually loses to me during training. His tail was twitching and his claws were in the ground, but today he had a emotion that I never recognized. He was jealous, angry, and he looked happy. He smiled grimly and padded out of camp. I just hope he wasn't mad at me. I followed him and he went to the Windclan border. I hid in a bush and I saw him talking to cats that looked like Shadowclan cats. I could faintly make out what they were saying, "I got Razorpaw to join us and I am slowly going to get Scarpaw to-" He was cut short when the tom held up his tail. "No need Leopardpaw, Scarpaw has already joined us. Get more cats from Thunderclan and Windclan to join us so we can take over the forest. We have Tigerleaf from Windclan and Bloodstar from Shadowclan." a white tom with a long scar starting from his face down to his leg spoke up padding through the group. I gasped when I realized it was Snowtuft a Dark Forest warrior! They all turned and I ran back to camp in tears. I realized that I had to get out of the Dark Forest for good, but I still needed revenge on Lightningpaw. I'm going to stay there; I trust them and I don't care what it takes to get revenge on Lightningpaw.
