"Windclan get the kits to the nursery and attack!" Swiftstar yowled launching himself at Shadowclan's deputy Bloodclaw. "Just give us your territory or we will kill you all to have it." Bloodclaw said dodging Swiftstar's attack. Bloodclaw leaped for Swiftstar's neck and slashed it. He yowled in pain as he sunk to the ground motionless he was losing his last life. Bloodclaw grinned happily as he charged at Moontail Windclan's deputy. "What are we going to do Moontail they killed Swiftstar?" yowled Flowerrunner, Windclan's medicine cat, crouching down beside her. "Windclan retreat to the forest." She yowled dodging Barkstar's blow to the throat.

As they retreated Lightningkit saw Maplekit and Nettlekit being carried away by a Shadowclan apprentice. She knew she couldn't fight but she had to get her clan-mates back. Lightningkit lunged for the apprentice's mouth and bit his mouth he yowled in pain as the kits ran off to their surrounded clan.

"Give up Moontail! You will never win we killed your leader and we'll kill you all to have this territory." growled Barkstar as he lunged to Moontail's neck. She dodged and counterattacked him with a kill to the neck. She sat down gasping for air. Her pelt had a huge gash on it and a pool of blood formed around her as she sunk to the ground and joined Starclan with Swiftstar. The cats all looked shocked and Moontail's last words were "Windclan attack..." So the cats did and they lost many of them to Shadowclan. Lightningkit and Snowkit were gaurding the other young kits beside a holly bush when they heard their father yowl. "We surrender! We'll give you the territory just don't kill any more of us." yowled Whiskertail. "When did you become leader." growled Clearclaw dodging a blow from a Shadowclan cat by the name of Clawheart. " If we don't surrender we all be killed mouse-brain. We must surrender." He snapped back. " I'd rather join Starclan fighting for my clan than surrender like the other mouse-brained clans." He growled back being clawed in the ears. The other cats stopped fighting and evently so did Clearclaw. "Good mourn your lost and I will travel to the moonpool to recive my 9 lives as the new Shadowclan leader." Bloodclaw yowled to them all and they filed out and took half the camp and gave have to the true Windclan cats.

"Who will be the new leader?" Nightstrike asked as she licked her nasty cuts for Flowerrunner to mend to. " Starclan will send us a sign Nightstrike be paitent." Skyheart replied cleaning her bloody paws off. " We can't wait we need a sign now Flowerrunner send a cat to the moonpool to see if Starclan will help us in these hard times." yowled Lightfeather. The Shadowclan cats turned and looked at him uneasy and tense as Lightfeather looked around embarrassed and sat down again. " I will send Lightningkit and Snowkit." Flowerrunner replied. "Kits? They didn't fight the battle we did and they are too young to go choose a warrior or apprentice." demanded Sunear, Swiftstar's litter-mate. "No they did fight if it wasn't for them Nettlekit and Maplekit wouldn't be here." Flowerrunner explained. "Come kits I'll give your traveling herbs. Be careful when you're there I wouldn't trust Bloodclaw." He warned. The kits ate the herbs and they went to the moonpool.

"How do we talk to Starclan?" Snowkit asked confused when they reached the moonpool. "I think we take a drink of the water." Lightningkit suggested unsure. So they both took a sip of the water and woke up. "Welcome Lightningkit." said a deep voice. "Am I in Starclan?" she asked shuffling her paws. "Yes. Come follow me I want to show you our territory then tell you our wishes." he said padding off. "Ok but why is so dark here? I thought Starclan was bright that's why they shine in the sky at moon-high." Lightningkit asked curiously. He smiled and sat down on a high rock. "Well you thought wrong little one. Now I will introduce you to everyone. I am Snowtuft leader since Tigerstar died." He said as more cats appeared. He introduced everyone to the small clueless kit and then when the 'gathering' was over Snowtuft spoke again. "So now you know everyone. Let us tell you our wishes and desires." Maggottail spoke among the cats. "Do you promise to keep us a secret?" he asked. " I do." she as if it were her apprentice ceremony. he smiled and sat down. "Do you want to protect your clan and become a great and powerful leader?" Clawface asked. "I do." she smiled and sat up proudly. " Good now you may come here every night and train with us to become stronger than the clans." Snowtuft yowled happily as the other cats joined in his yowl.

She smiled and found herself in a bright starry place. She woke up into the real Starclan. What am I doing here again? she thought. "Welcome Lightningkit Snowkit is over there talking to Moontail." a silvery grey she-cat said and padded up to Moontail. "We have 2 messages for your clan." Moontail spoke shuffling her paws like a kit.

"The first message is Whiskertail will be Windclan's new leader." the silvery grey she-cat said. Snowkit and Lightningkit exchanged glances of shock and happiness. They looked back at the 2 starry she-cats. "The second is a prophecy Lightning' in running wish will strike a leopard's scar with sun amber eyes as if this was a wish and let bloodshed come to bring happiness to the clans until a great and powerful darkness comes and ruins it all. The starry she-cats said together. Lightningkit thought it sounded ghostly and creepy as a cold chill rolled down her back and found herself waking up beside Snowkit. "Do you know what the prophecy means?" Snowkit asked shaking her pelt in the morning sun. "I don't know it means!" she snapped back tiredly. "Sorry." Who put ants in her pelt? she thought as they stood up and walked back to their half camp. Lightningkit sighed. "I am sorry I snapped at you earlier. I was just really tired." Lightningkit said purring to Snowkit. "It's OK everyone has their moments." she purred back to her litter-mate.

They heard a rustle in the bushes behind them. Lightningkit smelled the air. Fox and Badger!! she thought. "Snowkit we have to run and warn the others a fox and a badger are in the territory." Snowkit nodded and started running. Just then the fox jumped out. "Run Snowkit Run!" Lightningkit yowled. She matched her speed and ran with her. I can't just leave her alone with a fox about to get us. she thought looking behind her to see a red pelt coming from another bush. She yowled for help because she saw the camp of cats getting closer.

The cats looked up and saw the kits, foxes, and the badger farther behind the foxes. "Everyone we need to get the kits to safety and to shelter. Queens take the kits to the forest. The mates to the queens go with them." Whiskertail yowled and the cats split up into groups. "What can we do?" asked Lionfrost a Shadowclan warrior with a worried look on his face for the running kits.

"Go and pick up the kits while the rest of us fight. Then take them to Shadetail their mother and you may fight with us." Whiskertail replied and unleashed his claws. Lionfrost nodded. "Oh and thank you for your courage Lionfrost." He looked at him with a smile and then he ran to the kits. "Hold on." He said before grabbing them. "Thank you we never would have made without you coming along." Lightningkit said thankfully. He smiled almost dropping them but he quickly picked them up again.

"Look out the badger is leaping towards you with its claws out!" yowled Skypaw his apprentice. He quickly looked back and saw the huge badger about to claw his face. He quickly threw the kits to Skypaw and began to run faster to them. He leaped in the air and caught them leaving the badger not very far behind. Skypaw looked shocked and he nodded to him. "Get ready for battle Skypaw they are coming yet remember what I taught you young warrior." he mumbled through the kits fur. Skypaw nodded still looking shocked.

Lionfrost ran to the queens they were being attacked by a rogue. He saw Shadetail in trouble Whiskertail wasn't here so he charged into battle slamming into the rogue with claws unleashed. He dropped the kits by Shadetail. "Thank you Lionfrost." She meowed thankfully. "Aww look at the happiness. Looks like I'll just destroy it." growled the pure black rogue tom. He leaped for Lionfrost's throat he dodged and the attack went to Shadetail's throat. "No!!!!" he yowled as if the attack had hit him. A pool of blood formed around her. The kits ran to Gorseheart a Windclan queen and a second mother to them really. The rogue smiled and leaped away.

"Shadetail what happened to her!!!??" Flowerrunner asked quickly grabbing his herbs. "This mouse-brain was protecting Shadetail and when dodged the kill to the neck he let Shadetail take it instead." Growled Moonleap angrily. "I am sorry I didn't mean to hurt her like this. I never wanted to hurt her and now she's dead because of me." Lionfrost yowled in tears."She really isn't dead is she?" Lightningkit asked tearing up. "I am afraid so Lightningkit and Snowkit. Come mourn your mother she is hunting in Starclan tonight." Everyone gathered around her and mourned for her until Whiskertail came. Lionfrost had to explain what happened. Whiskertail never got mad at him but he still grieved for his dead mate.

Lightningkit and Snowkit will mourn their mother forever but drama is coming up soon. 😉 I may do a Thunderclan's POV soon because they really are the only "free" clan right now. comment, vote, and keep reading.
