Raintail's P.O.V

Lightningclaw turned to me and I got up to help her. Snowtuft glared at me and leaped for Lightningclaw. I leaped in front of her but Snowtuft landed right in front of me clawing me above my eyes. I couldn't see while the blood trickled down my face. I smelled the air and lunged for the cat I thought was Snowtuft and clawed their side. The cat I clawed had turned out to be Lightningclaw. She yowled and picked me up by the scruff like a kit and said, "If you're on his side why are you helping me just kill me already."

"Look Lightningclaw I didn't mean to claw your side it was an accident. I'm sorry."

"Just stay out of my way this is my fight and my fight alone." She hissed and limped back to where Snowtuft was. I laid there for awhile and thought about what both Lightningclaw and Snowtuft said, "Wrong Raintail once you promise to stay loyal to us there is no way out of it. You're just as jealous as friends everyone wants to be on top but only the strong can survive. I want you to do something for that will crush a warrior so loyal she'll fall into our paws."

Then I thought about what Lightningclaw said to me after I clawed her, "Just stay out of my way this is my fight and my fight alone." But did she know what she was up against? I tried to get up but I was tired from being attacked the first time. Maybe I am killing her without knowing it like she said. I heard Lightningclaw yowl. I shakily got up and limped to where we were fighting. She was on the ground, pinned by Snowtuft and surrounded by others from the Dark Forest. I leaped at Snowtuft and bit his neck. He stumbled back into the crowd of cats. Lightningclaw moaned and she closed her eyes. Her breathing shallowed and her wounds bled even more. I had to scare them off somehow and if I could somehow get help from the other warriors we would be treated soon by the medicine cats.

I heard a rustle in the bush and I heard Snowtuft coming towards me in a angry hissing and growling. I prayed to Starclan that they would help them and let us live. I had a crazy idea but I didn't think it would work. I leaped at Lightningclaw and grabbed her scruff and started to run as fast as I could run with my wounds. I was about a fox length away from camp when Scarface and Leopardnose came out of the entrence. I had to convince them that a fox had attacked her. I set her down and glanced behind me to check how far the Dark Forest cats were. I couldn't see them yet.

"What happened to her her?" Scarface asked with hatred delight.

"A fox attacked her when she was hunting with me and Foxclaw. I couldn't get to her in time and she was scratched like this." I explained.

"Those look more like cat scratches more than a fox. Are you sure it was a fox and not a cat?" Leopardnose questioned.

"I'm sure. It was a fox we need to go so I can get her to Jayfeather or Runningpaw." I begged.

They exchanged glances and let us pass. I picked her up and I raced through before I could see where I was running. I ran right into Jayfeather. He fell backwards. I apologized and told him what really happened. He nodded and wanted me to come with him to his den to treat my wounds as well but I said I could wait until Lightningclaw was treated first. I watched Jayfeather work throughly and how fast he worked even though he was blind. Runningpaw had built a nest for me and her. I laid down in my nest while Jayfeather laid Lightningclaw in her nest. I fell asleep and rested my hear on my paws, thinking about what had happened to us today. We were going to war.

Scarface's P.O.V

I padded out of camp when I ran into Snowtuft and other cats from the Dark Forest. I stumbled back and he growled.

"You traitor! You let them get away!" He snapped.

"What do you mean Raintail isn't on our side but...oh." I groaned. Snowtuft leaped at me and clawed my side. I winced but he didn't see it luckily. He had clawed the same spot where Lightningclaw had clawed me. He had reopened the wound. Leopardnose rolled his eyes at me and I growled.

"Mouse-brain you know that Raintail is on our side and he promised us already but he betrayed us!" He snapped and clawed my face adding another scar across my eye.

I growled and Snowtuft yowled. We followed him, I glanced back at our camp and saw a white she-cat standing beside a brown she-cat they both saying, "It's not to late Scarface you still have a choice." They vanished. I kept walking, wondering, and I smiled. I made my choice. I glanced ahead and saw we were going to the island. I sat down beside Leopardnose and Cedarstream. I looked up at Snowtuft and sighed. What I would do to become a leader of any clan. I thought.

"Cats of the Dark Forest the clans must come to an end tonight! We will start with Windclan and move around the lake and finish with Thunderclan!" Snowtuft yowled.

The rest of the Dark Forest yowled in unison of hatred. I joined in but thought about Spottedwish, the only she-cat I like. She had started to notice me since I had joined the Dark Forest around the same time. If I could get her to join me then my life would be perfect. Then there was Lightningclaw the thorn in my side. She would never join us again unless someone she cared about joined us. Hmm.

I waited until the yowls died down I saw Snowtuft looking down on us and he saw me and nodded. I got up and leaped beside him. The other cats started growling and yowling in protest. I just stared at Leopardnose the whole time I spoke. I yowled, "We all want Lightningclaw dead or on our side right? Well if we can kill someone she cares about maybe she'll join us! Maybe we could kill Raintail,Snowpelt, or even Silverclaw her friend from Windclan. And if we do we need to kill them tonight or we'll never be able to win the war!" Cats yowled in agreement and Snowtuft nodded and I stayed up beside my true leader. "We'll split up Scarface, Leopardnose, and Cedarstream go to Thunderclan or Windclan. Kill one of those three and then meet us at Riverclan." I nodded and we left the island ready to feel fresh blood of our enimies.

Raintail's P.O.V

I paced outside the medicine cat's den. It had been 2 moons and Scarface and Leopardnose were no where to be seen during the time. Lightningclaw was doing a lot better with her wounds. She wasn't aloud to hunt or leave camp yet but she didn't mind. She played with the apprentices and taught them different fighting moves but today was different. She was laying in the den almost unconscious but she was breathing heavily. Jayfeather told me to get a stick for another cat to bite on I did. Then he told me to get some wet moss I left to go get some. My friend was about to die because of me. I raced away to the lake. I picked some moss up but when I turned around Leopardnose was growling at me. I dropped the moss and got ready to fight. Then I saw Scarface and a Shadowclan warrior, Ceaderstream, sitting in two trees to ambush me. I picked up my moss and started to run dodging their blows. I left with only a few scratches."Thank you Starclan." I said out loud. I raced back to camp with the moss to find Lightningclaw breathing fairly shallow.

I didn't know what to do I laid beside her. Jayfeather said to go and get more moss because more cats were coming in. As I left someone pushed me and carried me like a kit outside and to the Sky oak after I had fallen to the ground. I tried getting free but I only managed to make the grip on my neck tighter. I finally clawed his chest and broke free but stumbled agaisnt the tree. I almost fell but I stood my ground. I saw Scarface, Leopardnose, and Cedarstream close in on me. I growled and hissed at them.

"Hey stop that we only want to talk to you." Scarface growled.

"Why should I listen to you? You want the clans to die for what you think they did to the Dark-" I yowled but Leopardnose cut me off, literally.

While I was talking Scarfae must have given Leopardnose a signal to attack me. He slashed at my legs trying to get me off balance. I leaped onto the tree. I scrambled up trying to get above Leopardnose. Cedarstream had followed me up. He tried to claw me but he wasn't used to being in trees. I reached for me but missed by a fox length.

I launched myself down onto Leopardnose. I sank my teeth into his back and clawed his flank when I heard someone yowl, "Stop this at once!" I froze and Leopardnose threw me off. Bramblestar was a few tail lengths away staring at me with disgust. "Leopardnose are you ok?" He asked gingerly. I looked at Bramblestar and the way he had came. Squirrelflight came out of the brush and looked at me then to Leopardnose. She shook her head. Scarface looked at me and sneered. I was bleeding on my head and flank. I looked up and saw that Cedarstream was hissing at me and I sighed. I walked up to Squirrelflight and whispered, "I'll tell you and Bramblestar later. Please tell him not to exile me." I raced away leaving behind the others.

They hated me. I hated them too. I don't know what to do any more.(execpt Bramblestar and Squirrelflight) I wanted to go to the barn again. I backtracked and went behind the hills of Windclan. Luckily, no one scented me. I went into the barn and saw two kits. A ginger she-kit with black paws and a grey tom with darker flecks. He looked exactly like me. They ran away and hid in the hay. I started to run after them when I realized a dog was behind me. I arched my back and hissed facing the big, menacing, black dog.

Sorry it's kinda short and I haven't updated in forever. I've been so busy with school and sports. Thanks for reading my story and comment on what clan name I should call you guys by.
