Alison's POV

The sun shined through the barred window making a strange shadow on the floor.  I got out of my old dusty bed. I’ve been here ever since I can remember. All the doctors told me was my parents said I was going completely crazy.  They said I was dreaming about going to some fake place called Wonderland. I don’t know what they’re talking about.  Well it’s time to get my boring day started. I grabbed my brush, toothbrush, and clothes and went straight to the bathroom down the hall from my warm room.  I had to wait in a short line for the bathroom. “Look who it is Crazy Allison It’s a true shame your parents couldn’t take your craziness “she laughed coldly. I do my best to ignore them because one day I’m going to get out of this place.

I went into the bathroom I brushed my teeth I brushed my long blonde hair. One thing I like about my hair is it has a natural curl. I took a shower and put a blue short sleeved casual dress with black flats and a black belt. Today was Visitor day the worst day ever so everyone was getting dressed for their family.

It was 8:45 a.m. the visitors come at 9:00 a.m. I sat down in my seat and ate some cereal. By the time I was finished and cleaned my bowl and spoon the visitors were here. I had no one to visit me of course I got used to it though. What made today different from any other visiting day was we all went to the park because it was a beautiful day today.

There was something about today. I’m getting this weird feeling. As we all walked to the park I came up with a plan. I was going to get out of this institution. The plan was I would say I have to go to the bathroom then I will start walk really fast down the dirt road. I’ll find a way to get on a helicopter then I figure out what I’m going to do next. 

I sat down on the swing perfecting my plan. After I had it all planned out I just sat back and enjoyed the beautiful day for a while. I rocked back and forth. I could feel the wind swaying my hair, the warm sun on my skin, and the singing blue birds. I’ve got to admit the park is pretty relaxing. Well except for the little kids screaming but other than that it’s pretty good.

I got up and started walking towards one of the adults. “May I go to the bathroom?” I asked politely “of course you can my dear” the old lady replied. I walked to the bathroom as calmly as I could. Just to take off attention from myself. I got into the bathroom I used the bathroom, washed my hands, and washed my face. I made sure everyone was out of the bathroom before left. As I walked out the bathroom there was the girl from this morning I forgot her name. We’ll just call her the girl. “Where do you think you’re going Crazy Allison?” she asked smirking

“To the water fountain but I see that’s none of your business” I replied rolling my eyes “shouldn’t you be with your family? Oh wait you don’t have one” she laughed and walked away. A warm salty tear rolled down my face I wiped it off fast. I didn’t want her to know how much that got to me.
