Chapter 20- Final Thoughts

Your breathing was steady. Shaky, but steady. You hadn't had sex in two years, including alone time by yourself. You were just never in the right state of mind to be able to take care of yourself. But now, you were in bed with a wolf and a rabbit.

Haru behind you, legs wrapped around your waist as she leaned down and kissed your ears, hands down to your chest. Legoshi was trailing his hands down your stomach, as he stared down to you.
"You're... really pretty (Y/N)," He mumbled out as Haru hummed, her lips down on your neck, making you shiver by the vibration.

"I've never done this with a girl, so you'll be my first. I don't mind it at all," She muttered, and you felt the lust from both Carnivore and Herbivore. You softly gasped at Haru's hand massaging your thighs, and Legoshi softly leaving kisses on your stomach. You felt like this was familiar, but you couldn't figure out why.

Then you went into your thoughts again, or at least you think.

The place was full white, and you were somewhat confused as you took cautious steps.
"Where exactly am I?" You wondered out loud. Feeling a sense of warmth of comfort here, then you heard a voice that made you stop moving. A voice you thought you'll never hear again.

"Such beautiful stars out tonight, huh?" You whipped your head around, and froze as you saw the familiar and gorgeous white fur of your once fiancé.
"(F/N)?..." You muttered, seeing her turn her head, and her green eyes staring at you.
"Hello my little beautiful creature," She smiled, fully turning around and spreading her arms out wide. You felt tears fall down your face as you slowly walked over to her, and breaking into a full sprint, feeling her warm embrace and hugging her tightly.

"My sweet darling! My albino tail, I'm so happy to see you! I-.., I never thought all see you!" You sobbed, smiling a broken smile as (F/N) simply giggled.
"Do you now?" She sarcastically said, a tear falling down her eyes too. You then frowned slightly, kinda limping your arms around her.

"Because... you're not really here," You sighed, drooping your ears and taking a step back, rubbing your arm.
"You're just in my head," You mumbled.
"Yet you still love me like this, because of the regret," She kissed your nose with a sympathetic smile on her face.

"It's okay, it was never your fault. And no matter where you go, I'll always be here with you, dummy," She smirked and bumped her hip against yours, making you give out a slight laugh, wiping the tears away.
"As of now, I do believe there are some people who are still on the bed with you," She titled her head and raised her eyebrow, making you pale deeply.

"Legoshi! Haru! I-Umm, I need to talk to them! They are—, I mean.. they're not replacing you! They just... I- Uhh,.,..," You stammered out, looking around to get out of this place, still holding onto (F/N)'s hand.
"It's alright (Y/N)," She looked up at you and smiled her still beautiful smile.

"Just as long as you do what is right,"

"Stop," It barely came out as a whisper from you. The two animals didn't hear you, as they were in their own thoughts. You whimpered slightly, no longer in that fantasy world of yours, now wanting to stop and talk.
"Please... I said stop it," You said a little louder, but they still couldn't hear you.

'Make them listen. Make them obey.' You heard you say.
'But... I think I need this. (F/N) said-'
'(F/N) is dead!! And no you don't! You think you do because it may wash out the pain you felt all these years, but it won't! It'll make things worse because of the more problems you'll get!' Yourself hissed, making you wince.

'May I remind you, you are on duty, this is your last case for the detective department! You're hurt, and lost, because you think you caused (F/N) to die, but you two didn't think it'll go that direction. It may have been a result to most cases, but you never thought it would actually happen!'
'Look at yourself! Alone, drinking so much to the point you don't want to get out of bed, and about to have sex with high school students who are going to as much as you!!'

'If you want to makes things right, you need to stop this now before you'll have more emotional and mental problems than you have now!' Your mind was right, you just can't do this, at least not after the Shishigumi events.

"Legoshi, Haru, I need you to stop!" The two animals stopped at your sudden shout. They looked at you, and you had a scared and stern expression.
"I-I... my mind and body is refusing to do this. My herbivore side tells me to do this, to allow you to have your way. M-my carnivore side is saying that this is not going to happen." You stammered out, quickly sitting up and placing your hands on your lap.

Haru sat up and stared at you, feeling in awe as she watched you.
'She's scared. Of course she is! I'm so stupid! She's gone through so much and this will just hurt her!' Haru thought foolishly. Legoshi scooted back and felt his body shiver a little bit.
'Oh jeez! This was a weird idea! It's all my fault!' He thought in rapid speed.
"I'm sorry," You mumbled, wiping tears away.

"Don't worry about it, we don't want to force this now do we? We should stop," Legoshi said as Haru nodded.
"It's for the best," She told you.
"You say that, but umm... I could Uhh, still smell the..." You trailed off, still smelling the heat from Haru, and looking down at Legoshi's.... little tent below there.

"U-uh, don't worry! It'll go away on its own!" Legoshi stammered as Haru blushed immensely.
"Well then, let's sleep this off!" You suddenly said as you hopped off your bed and looked at them with a small smile.
"Since this is my house, I'll wash the clothing, just stay here," You said and quickly walked out the door, suddenly feeling like you were in a volcano.

Legoshi and Haru stared at the door, awkwardly sitting in silence, until they looked at each other.

"Why are we so stupid?"

"Beautiful day, isn't it?" Haru asked as the three of you walked through the street. It was the next day, and you all walked to the school, without anything happening last night.
"Listen you two, I wanted to say something important," She said.
"Thank you so much for saving me," You smiled softly at you and you patted both of their backs.

"In all honesty Haru, Legoshi. You two were the ones who saved me,"

"It's remarkable that you came out there alive (Y/N). I still can't believe you barged into the Shishigumi to save a highschooler," You heard Chief Kora scold you through the phone.
"I understand chief, and I promise you, I'll never regret what I did. It wasn't just for me and (F/N), it was for the sale of having no more innocent herbivores getting eaten by those disgusting felines," You said as you walked down the school halls and down the stairs.

"You still haven't changed at all. I'm just very happy that you're alive," The elephant sighed and you heard relief in his voice.
"I could see why (F/N) fell for you, you were always so stubborn," He chuckled, making you roll your eyes.
"It's almost summer (Y/N), which means it's almost the deadline of the case," You stiffed up at his words about your case, but he quickly spoke up again.

"But... I never heard you this happy before, so I'll make an exception. You keep digging, and I'll vouch for you if there is any other issues. Just promise me you'll be okay after this," You slowly smiled brightly, but he didn't see it though.
"I... this is... thank you!" You said in a bright and happy shout, making him laugh on the other side.

You said your goodbyes and hung up the phone.
"Ouch, my back hurts like hell," You groaned in pain and you stretched your limbs.
'Things are changing fast. The festival is around the corner, Louis is missing, and summer is also near,' You thought as you shoved your phone in your pocket.
"I haven't seen Haru in a while, maybe she's with Legoshi," You mumbled, turning the staircase corner, but then froze.

'Oh shit, that's Juno with Haru, and I could sense the anger from her. This ain't good,'
