"I'm being adopted! Can you believe it?" Taehyung told the husky hybrid who let out a deep sigh. Taehyung was beyond happy to be adopted, but still kind of sad that Seokjin, or Jin as he said to call him, was not being adopted. They still had one more day of valid adoption before the hybrids were off sale that year, maybe Jin had a chance.

"Let's pick you out a strong man who can protect you." Taehyung wagged his tail happily as he leaned over the clear cage, turning his head to the left and seeing a worker with pink hair. He perked his ears as he watched the man mop a puddle of water that fell from a fish bowl. A little kid knocked it over.

"Excuse me, sir!" Taehyung waved his hand crazily, his limb seeming to almost come off.

The man looked over and somehow misplaced his footing and fell into the puddle of water, his hair becoming soaked and soggy. Taehyung giggled at his silliness. Taehyung placed his hand on the edge of the cage, leaping over it and helping the man up.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked, patting his back.

"I'm fine.. Taehyung." The boy looked at the hybrid's collar to see his name.

"Okay.. Namjoon." Taehyung giggled, poking the name tag pinned to his jacket.

"I have a friend, his name is Seokjin, and I want you to adopt him!" Taehyung grabbed Namjoon's lanky arm and brought him to the cage. Namjoon's eyes widened. He had heard that name before.

When Namjoon looked at Seokjin, his heart stopped, "Jinnie!"

Jin turned around and his jaw dropped. He quickly leaped over the cage and jumped into Namjoon's arms. Jin wrapped his tail around Namjoon, a sign of loyalty and ownership.

"How do you two know each other?" Taehyung asked, looking a bit out of place as the two shared a hug.

"I used to own a hybrid named Jin. Before he heard the ice cream truck and ran after it. I lost him and I cannot believe I found him! In my own work as well." Namjoon ruffled Jin's hair, as Jin just nuzzled his nose against the boy's collarbone.

This was why Jin was so sad all the time, he never let his true colors show because he was not with his imprinted owner. Sure, Taehyung imprinted on Myung a little, but he still had not found his true imprinted master.

"Time to go little doggy." Myung told him as the sun set out side of the shop. Taehyung wagged his tail in excitement, nodding his head quickly as he followed Myung from the shop.
