Taehyung looked over the clear cage. His eyes landed on a woman who had a chihuahua sticking his head from the leather material. He growled at Taehyung, making Taehyung retract from the scary creature. He realized that he was too big to be frightened from the small canine. So he held up his head to show dominance, puffing out his chest and raising his tail. He looked cuter than before, not scary like he thought he would. His ears were sticking up and he was growling at the chihuahua that seemed to lose interest in his presence.

"Taehyung, what are you doing?" Myung asked as she saw how serious the dog was acting. It was a-new for Taehyung to be serious or trying to over power another dog. "It's adoption day! Get excited. I'm pairing you with a husky hybrid. His name is Seokjin. I think you'll like him."

Taehyung perked his ears up. He loved being paired with dogs, it was like meeting a new friend. Besides, if he was paired with a cute dog, then just maybe, maybe he would get adopted. There was something about Seokjin that gave him slightest of hope.

Soon enough, in came a husky hybrid, who looked pissed to be there. He crossed his arms as his tail dragged the ground. He furrowed his brows as he noticed Taehyung looking at him.

"I was dumped on the road." Seokjin growled to himself. "That boy never should have got a hybrid if he had no clue of how much affection they need."

Taehyung decided to just let the boy grow comfortable with the cage and he sunk down at the wall. He watched as people picked out cat hybrids and mice hybrids, along with regular pets as well. Some people did not want a pet and a human to care for. Hybrids had three forms, human which was normal, regular person, a half animal, with just the ears and tail, and finally full animal, which was just as the title says-- full animal.

A man walked up to Taehyung's cage and reached out, touching Taehyung's ear. He hummed and yanked on it slightly. Taehyug hated when people would treat him terribly. He felt like he should stay quiet and accept the man who was trying to get on the hybrid's nerve.

"Such a cute puppy." The man chuckled and flicked Taehyung's nose. The hybrid whimpered, pulling away from the edge of the cage and holding his nose. He felt completely submissive now, whenever he was hit, he felt a wave of submission and sadness flow over his brain. It was just the dog part in his blood acting up.

Surprisingly, Seokjin did not get adopted either, leaving two hybrids in a a cage with dirty blankets surrounding them as people disapproved of the way the two looked and moved on to another hybrid's cage.

"Today was tiring." Myung told her son as she patted his soft locks, curling her fingers into his strands and ruffling them. Jungkook backed away and fixed his hair with two hands, looking back at his adoptive mother with a defeated smile.

"How so?"

"It was adoption day."

"D-did Tae--"

"No."

"Oh."

Myung gave her son a soft smile, she could already tell the boy's happiness that Taehyung did not get adopted. It was strange to be happy, while the hybrid would be so sad, thinking nobody liked him. Myung sat down on the couch, throwing her bag across the room, hitting a lamp and falling off. It shattered into pieces, but Myung was already sprawled across the couch cushions, and did not really care for the glass.

"We should take him home-- with us." Jungkook told his mother, more of in a plead. He did not want Taehyung to suffer from watching people walk past and not choose him again. Jungkook started cleaning up the glass and threw it away in the kitchen trash can.

"Hybrids are really hard to take care of. Once they imprint on you, thats it." Myung warned, not really surprised this was happening with the hybrid and her son.

"I can do it!" Jungkook smiled, his voice sounding very determined.

"Okay son, but if it gets too out of hand, he will go to a shelter, okay? We will get him a better home than here, more suitable."

"That won't happen, and deal!" Jungkook giggled and ran back to his room, incredibly happy, and that made Myung happy as well.

Myung's phone started ringing, so she picked it up. It was Bora.

"Hey babe." She spoke into it, hearing the girl giggle from the other side of the line.

"Hey.."
