"Sodapop," I place my head on his lap the last time

He runs his fingers through my hair for the last time, "yes my love."

"I''m gonna miss you," I sigh.

He moves a little bit making me sit up. He looks at me and smiles, "if this is the last time I see you just remember you're my everything."

I smile before kissing him, "I love you so damn much Sodapop, I can't stand the thought of loosing you."

"Well this is real," he sighs as he hugs me.

"I love you," I say slowly meaning every single word.

He smiles, "I love you too."

I look at the time 12:13 A.M. then I look back at Sodapop, "I don't want to say goodnight."

He kisses my forehead, "we have to get up early tomorrow though."

"Noo," I whine. "Don't move."

He chuckles, "lets go to bed."

"Stay with me," I beg.

"Of course," he pecks my lips.

"Sodapop," I look over at him.

"Mhmm,"he smiles.

I look at him and fall for him, "it's our last night together."

He looks at me, "I know."

"I wanna be with you," I admit.

He rolls over onto me and kisses me forcefully, "I love you so damn much Chloe Rose Tor."

"I love you too Sodapop Patrick Curtis," I reply honestly with a bitter-sweet ring to it knowing this is the last time.

He runs his fingers through my hair for the last time and I do the same for him, "Sodapop, I'm gonna miss you."

"I'll be back soon," he smiles.

I shake my head, "I might not be here."

He sighs, "I love you."

"I love you too," I smile. "I'm gonna miss you."

"I'm gonna miss you too," he smiles as he hands me a small necklace.

I look down to see a picture of just the two of us and a picture of the whole gang and I, "this is perfect Sodapop. Thank you."

"Don't forget me, please," he begs.

"Never," I frown.

I hand him my little gift for him. He looks down, "what's this?"

"It's nothing really," I shrug. "It's dog tag covers, one says I love you and the other says the day we met then our anniversary."

"I love them," he smiles.

"Last call for the soldiers," the announcer yells.

I wrap my arms around him tightly and he does the same with me for the last time, "I love you Sodapop."

"I love you too," he smiles before pulling away and kissing me softly. "Goodbye Chloe Rose Tor."

"Goodbye Sodapop Patrick Curtis," I reply.

"Hello Chloe," Miss.Smith shows up for the first time in a long time.

I smile as I run over to her and hug her tightly, "I've missed you Miss. Smith. Where have you been?"

"Please call me Tori," she smiles at me. "I've grown found of you Chloe."

I blush, "I know, it's been a long ride."

"Months in Tulsa," she reminds me.

"I wouldn't take it back for the world," I smile. 

She nods her head as she walks over to me, "you've changed and grown up a lot Chloe. You know that right?"

I nod, "yeah."

"Well, do you want to go home?" She asks.

I run over to her and hug her tightly, "oh my god yes! Oh my god thank you!"

She smiles as she hugs me back, "I'll take that as I yes."

"100% absolutely yes!" I squeal. "Will I ever be able to come back?"

She shakes her head, "I'm so sorry Chloe."

I shake my head, but tears roll down my cheeks, "it's not your fault. I want to stay here, but I need to go home. So this is it."

"I'll see you in class on Monday," she smiles. "I can't wait."

"Neither can I?" I ask.

She smiles, "do you want some time?"

I nod, "yes please.

"I understand," she smiles. "I'll see ya soon."

"Yea," I smile.

"Take the train home at midnight, it'll also send you back home."

My eyes shoot up and I sit up quickly. I look around this room and sigh. This is it, I'm leaving. I've grown to love this place. I walk over to the stack of papers and simply write. "I found a way back home. I love ya'll more than ya'll will ever know. Tell Sodapop he's my one and only, my ride or die, my one true love."

I look over at the clock, 11:36 P.M. I sigh as I throw on jeans, a t-shirt and boots. This is it. I'm leaving. 

As I'm about to leave the house, I hear Pony's voice, "Chloe?"

I turn around and see him, "Ponyboy?"

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"Come sit down," I sigh as I grab his hand and pull him onto the couch,

He looks at me Sadly, "why are you leaving?"

"I have to go home," I inform. "This doesn't mean, I don't love you because, I do. I love everybody, but I have to go home."

A few tears slide out his eyes, "you can't leave."

"I have to," I sigh.

He hugs me and sobs onto my shoulder, "I'm gonna miss you."

"I'm gonna miss all of ya'll so much, but I'll never forget any of you. I promise. I love you guys too much and I can't stand this."

"Will you ever come back?" Pony asks.

I don't have the heart to tell him I'm not, so I just nod my head, "of course I will Ponyboy. I'm in love with your brother, but I really have to go."

He nods, "okay, I love you."

"I love you too," I smile as I hug him. "Goodbye Ponyboy Micheal Curtis."

"Goodbye Chloe Rose Tor," he cries softly as I leave.

"Mom!" I yell as I run into the house.

She turns to me angrily, "so you just run out the house like that because your mad at me! Who do you think you are little girl?"

I smile happily before running into her arms, "oh my god mommy! I'm so sorry. I am such a little bitch. I am so sorry. You deserve so much more and I am so mean. Oh my god mom! I love you so much and I am such a bitch. I am so sorry."

She wraps her arms around me, "yes you are and I love you too Chloe."

"Where's Courtney?" I ask.

She shrugs, "at one of her friends house for the weekend."

I frown, "she should come home more, I miss her."

My mom smiles, "what has gotten into you?"

I shrug, "I just had a moment to release everything after falling asleep outside."

She chuckles, "that's my girl."

As I walk into school I turn to mega-geek, "hey-uh, what's your name again?"

He smiles unsure, "Mathew."

"Nice to meet you Matt, wanna hang out later?" I ask him. "Are you in my English class?"

He nods, "yea, why?"

I grab his hand, "well I have a boyfriend, but lets hang out and sit together today."

"Are you sure?" He fixes his glasses.

I nod, "100%"

As I walk into the class I look over at Miss. Smith or as I know her, Tori and smile, "good morning Chloe."

"Morning Miss. Smith," I smile. "We have The Outsiders test today...right?"

She nods, "yeah, I'm sure you'll get a hundred though."

"Thanks," I chuckle. 

This is my last shot. I'm starting over.

Oh my god! This is it! The last chapter. I know this was a short book, but I think it was good. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Okay, so now this is also not the end! I repeat NOT the end! I am writing a sequel, I'm just not sure when. I'll let you know when I publish it.Stay gold. Do it for Johnny!
