"Hey girlies," I smile as I walk into my high school.

My one friend Britney walks over to me, "hey Chloe. I heard Josh is gonna ask you out today. homecoming queen and king, here you come."

"Duh," I roll my eyes before turning to Amber, my other friend. "Gum."

"Bubble-gum?" She asks as she pulls out bubble gum.

I shake my head, "gross."

"Orange?" She asks pulling out another pack.

I walk over to her, "do you know the definition of good gum Amber? Mint..."

She nods her head pulling out sweet mint, wintergreen, and spearmint, "which kind?"

"Sweet duh," I say as I grab sweet mint. "Well, I'll see you girls later. Bye."

I walk away from the girls and over to Josh. He looks over at me and smiles, "hey Chloe."

"Hey babes," I smile at him.

He chuckles as he looks down, "babes?"

"It's better than babe," I inform him. "Or at least that's what I think."

"It's pretty cool," he nods.

"Thanks babes," I smile as I walk over to him kissing his cheek. "So who ya taking to homecoming babes?"

He looks at me and smiles, "well I was hoping that'd you'd come with me."

I smile, "of course babes, I'm gonna get my dress after school today. I'll tell ya the color and you can match your text to it. Thanks babes."

I walk away swinging my arms happily when some mega-geek who's name I don't care to remember bumps into me making his coffee drop all over my shoes, "oh my god! Chloe, I'm so sorry. I-I didn't me-

"Shh, don't say another word," I say.

He nods and bends down touching me, "her-"

"Don't touch me!" I yell jumping back.

"I'm sorry," he sighs.

I look at him in the eyes, "ewe what is th- Oh-yeah, it's just your face. Get out of my way, you're making me sick." He turns around and I smirk, "BYE!"

He walks away and I walk over to my girls, "people are so annoying."

"Yeah," Nicole nods. "What's his face mean?"

"It's hideous duh," I roll my eyes. "Shut up, you sound smarter."

I see my partner in crime and my best friend Jilly who comes running over to me, "oh my god Chloe! You and Josh going to homecoming! That is the most amazing thing I've heard all day. Did mega-geek really try to touch you."

"I know, how gross," I roll my eyes. "Does he know who I am compared to him?"

She rolls her eyes, "he's so gross. Wanna go shopping after school for homecoming dresses?"

"Yes bish," I chuckle. "I mean you're totes going with Chad. He's like in love with you and who wouldn't wanna go with Chad. He's such a babe."

"My babes though," Jilly smiles.

"Obvi," I laugh.

"Which one do you want Jill?" I ask her as I hold the two dresses she's stuck between.

She sighs, "how much are they?"

I roll my eyes, "I'm gonna use my credit card, not my money. It doesn't matter none."

She looks at both of them before smiling, "I like the black Vera Wang one."

"Perf," I smile as I throw it into the cart. I'm getting a white Louis Vuitton dress. It's beautiful. "Shoes. What kind of shoes? I want the white Prodas."

"Tan red soles," she smiles as she grabs hers and I grab mine. "Jewelry."

I chuckle, "you need to learn how to shop Jilly."

"No, you just need to learn how to save," she smiles as we go to pay.

After Jewelry, hair, and everything else you could image the total comes out to about 62,000. No big deal. I hop into my families car. "Drive me to Jilly's house please."

He nods, "anything you want ma'am."

"Uh door," I roll my eyes.

My driver nods, "okay ma'am. What bag should I put down?"

"None, that's expensive. Can you do anything?" I yell.

He nods and opens the door. I walk in and kick off my Italian leather riding boots, "I'm home."

"Chloe," my mom yells as she walks down stairs. "Where have you been all day?"

"At the mall with Jilly. Duh," I roll my eyes. "Well I have to go facetime dad...bye."

She calls up to me as I run upstairs, "I love you Chloe."

"Whatever," I roll my eyes opening my door. I call dad and when he answers I smile, "hey daddy."

"Chloe," he smiles. "It's so nice to see you."

I smile too, "I miss you daddy."

His smile grows, "I miss you too my love."

"When is my package with my money and stuff coming in?" I ask.

"Soon," he speaks softly. "How's school?"

I sigh, "I actually gotta jump. Bye dad."

I hang up the facetime and shop online until dinner. "What's for dinner mom?"

"Home made Sushi," she smiles as she hands me a plate.

I take one, "gross. I'm gonna go to habacci with Annabelle tonight."

"Courtney is coming home," she informs.

"Whatever," I roll my eyes as I grab my purse and leave.

I go up into my tree house where my pets live. It's like their home. I sit on the floor, "hi babies."

My one kitten Nala hobbles over to me, "hey baby girl."

"Meow," she replies.

I laugh a little, "I know princess, I know. I love you."

I walk over to my other kitten Winston and pick him up scratching behind his ears. "well hello there Mr.Winston, you're nothing like Dallas Winston from the book I have to read for school now are you baby boy. I love you Mr.Winston James."

I put him next to his sister and they start wrestling immediately, "silly babies."

I walk over to my sleeping dog Bandit. She's getting old, she' ten. I sit next to her on the ground and pet her floppy ears. I've had her since she was a baby. I saved her from off the streets, she was abandoned. I even bottle fed her. She wakes up and puts her head in my lap. I bend down kissing her forehead, "I love you Bandit." She licks my leg a few times making my laugh. My pets are my whole world. I don't know what I'd do without them.

"I'm home," I call into the house.

No answer.

"Hello mom!" I yell.

Nothing.

I sigh as I walk into the living room to see her and Courtney asleep on the couch together. I sigh as I run upstairs into my room.

My mom only loves Courtney, so does my dad. She's the golden child, I'm the forgotten child. I mean my dad taught me how to spend money, but other than that, he doesn't care about me. My mom never spends time with me unless it's a fight. I can't wait until I get out of this lonely house.

Okay, so this is before she went to Tulsa. This is what Chloe was like from day to day. Not somebody I'd want to be friends with, but also not an enemy I'd want. What do you guys think? I mean there is clearly some nice in her, but she's so cold and mean. Stay gold. Do it for Johnny!
