Chapter 25: The Battle of Burbank (Part 1 of 3)

More days pass on by and Carrie was working on the courage to get through to Brain before the big studio games. She walks up to ACME Labs and heads through the doors. "Brain.. I have come to talk to you." She began and Brain turned to face her gaze. "Ah Carrie, I've been expecting you to come here. I want to show you something." He walked over to a pendant that he had been working on. "I've been making this pendant containing a special kind of magic. I think that you would be perfect to use it for me." Carrie walked up to it and then puts it on. "Wow.. I mean I like the craftsman ship of this. It is really pretty." She then felt a power surge right through her and one of her eyes went back to normal. "What's going on Brain?"

"Well I knew you would like it Carrie." Brain smirked as some of their old cast members came in and she looks to them. "What's going on?" Carrie blinked, sort of confused. "Carrie, you're part of my plan to rule the world, starting with the studios. You're the one who holds power in the place, so why can't others do the same?" Brain asked her and Carrie began to feel her heart pounding in her chest as he began to sing. "I realize that you've always been an outcast, It's not everyone right here who likes to think.. To find a girl that's just like you. I've had one or maybe two, But the good ones disappear before I blink.." He snapped his fingers and the other cast members approach slowly.

"Now I understand you have your reservations.. It's hard to have a brain as large as yours. But if you don't win these games, well I think I made it plain. What will happen if we have the losing scores." The cast members began to circle around Carrie and they began to taunt her and pressure her. "Unleash the magic, unleash the magic. If we lose then you're to blame. They all have used it. Maybe abused it. So then why can't we do the same?" Carrie held onto the pendant close to her chest as she turns to Brain once more. "Call it power, call it magic. If we lose, it will be tragic. More important is the knowledge we have lost. A chance like this won't come again, you'll regret not giving in. Isn't understanding magic worth the cost?" He pinched her cheek and Carrie yelps slightly, backing away from him.

"Unleash the magic, unleash the magic. We're not friends here after all. His only interest in this business, is seeing the Warner water tower fall." Carrie started to panic and tried to take it off, but it's not budging. The power it was giving her was way too much. Brain hopped onto Carrie's shoulder as they began to walk back to the studios. "What I'm suggesting's very simple. And since it's win-win on all scores, you'll only want to learn about the magic that's tightly stored.. And as for me and all the others, we only want what we deserve. That I, the Brain, will clinch the win, and your legacy will endure!!" Chicken Boo pushed her to the front and squawked loudly. Carrie looked back and continued to go forth.

"Unleash the magic, unleash the magic! If we lose, then it's a crime! But we can win it if you begin it! It's up to you to not fail this time! Unleash the magic, free the magic now. Unleash the magic! Free the magic now!" The crowd began to speak the last part over and over as Carrie pressed some of the buttons to open it up. "Imagine all I'll learn by setting this free." Nora was nearby, speaking into a microphone. "If Both our teams are ready.." "But now, winning these games depends on me." Yakko began to push through the crowd and then saw what was going on. "And what doors might open if I tried to use it?" Her body began to turn back into her human form as Nora spoke again. "Then the first event of the Studio Games begins.." The crowd cheered on as Carrie's hand hovered over the big button. "But the magic is what I really want to see." She raises her hand and Brain grew wide eyed in interest. Yakko then jumped to try and stop her. "Carrie, wait!" "NOW!!"
