After a Year.

Matapos ang lahat ng sad experiences, after a half years na hindi kami nagkita, finally, we’re here together again. Malayo man ’yong lugar na pinuntahan ko, di parin siya naghanap ng iba para ipagpalit ako. It’s a gift. Minsan lang tayo makasalubong ng right person for you.

I went to Michelle company. Binisita ko siya dahil ilang araw pa na hindi ako nakabalik doon dahil may inaasikaso lang ako.  Although, hindi kami nagkita ng ilang araw, as usual, may video call naman kami.

I’m on way, I just drove a car slowly nang nasagip sa mata ko si Girly—my friend.

“Girly!” Pagtawag ko sa kaniya at hininto ko ang takbo ng sasakyan. Agad naman siyang tumakbo patungo sa kinaroroonan ko.

“I’ve missed you, my dear friend,” usal niya at niyakap ako.

Kumalas ang yakap ko. “Missed you too, how are you?” Tanong ko sa kaniya. Tinanggal ko ang pagkakayakap ko sa kaniya.

“Ayos lang naman. Gan’to parin. Saan lakad mo?” Aniya.

I smirked and looked around. “ Bisitahin ko si Michelle. Sama ka? Bisitahin natin siya,” Tumango naman siya at pumasok sa sasakyan.

Pagdating namin doon, I parked my car and immediately went inside. Sumakay kami sa elevator papunta sa room ni Michelle.

I knocked on the door three times before she opened it.

“Good morning love, I brought coffee for you. ” Aniko at iniabot ang cup of coffee. “Girly is here, ” Dagdag ko pa.

Nanlaki ang mata niya at nasa ekspresyon nito ang saya, “Where?” Tanong pa niya.
Agad pumasok si Girly at nagyakapan ito. They’re friends.

“ Erick, mabuti nalang at naisipan mong sunduin ako. Kumusta ang process mo? ” Tanong ni Michelle sa akin. I smirked and moved closer to her.

“It’s all fine babe, ” I crossed my hands into my chest.

She bit her lower lips and glimpse between me and Girly. “Have some fun tonight. Girly, you are invited. ” She offers. I smiled and blinked my eyes to her.

“Owh, that’s awesome. ” Ani Girly sabay ngisi.

I tapped Michelle’s back. We sat and talked for something until our topic turns to a wonderful one.

“By next week, Me and Erick will be a couples. ” Michelle said to Girly. Girly smile’s widened.
She stare at me and Michelle.

“Congratulations!” Pagbati niya. I smiled at her.

“Siya nga pala, aalis na ako kasi may pupuntahan pa kasi sana ako kaso niyaya ako ni Erick na bisitahin ka dito kaya sumama ako. Namiss din kita e. See you tonight, sa dating lugar parin ah!” Aniya sabay kaway. Lumabas na siya ng room at nilock ko naman ito. Kumuha ako ng kape at uminom. Malamig ang room ni Michelle kaya nakaramdam ako ng antok. Nagpatugtog muna ako kasi the more I play a song, the more I feel comfortable especially dahil kasama ko na ang babae na minamahal ko.

Biglang naputol ang music ko nang tumabi sa akin si Michelle.

“I don’t wanna lose you. So, you can keep me inside your heart. You took my heart away before. Kaya di na kita papayagang makakalayo pa. ” She soundly kissed me.

I didn't notice that hour passes by. It’s already 4:00 PM. May party pa mamaya tapos di pa ako nakauwi. Dahil gusto kong dalhin ang nanay ko, I decided to bring here.

I went back home. Nagpahatid na muna ako kay Michelle para magbihis at mag-ayos ng sarili.

Nasa gate na kami ng bahay at pinindot ko muna ang doorbell. Maya-maya ay binuksan na ito ni mama. Bumaba na kami at pumasok sa loob.

Nauna lang kaunti si mama at hinawakan ko ang kamay ni Michelle. Dahan-dahan kaming naglakad patungo sa loob. She’s watching around my room.

“This picture of mine, it’s the first day I meet you. ” She noticed the newest portrait sa tabi ng daan. It’s her. Tinabihan ko lang ng picture ko kaya mukhang couple tingnan.

Matapos na akong nagbihis at ayos na din si mama. Lumabas na kami at tumungo sa kotse.
Michelle's drove her car in a low speed. We took a glimpse outside the window of car and witnessed the beautiful views around. We crossed to the other line and turned to the left side. We found that the place where me and Michelle’s settled our misunderstanding.

Love really find ways. Love is kind. Hindi tayo papayagan ng pag-ibig na malayo kayo sa isa’t isa.

We went out the car and feel breeze cold air. Michelle hold me.

“Let’s go ma. ” I said to mom. She’s now staring around and seems amazed to the beautiful place.

We went to the sitting place. Michelle's workers just gazed to the three of us. They smiled happily.

“Ma’am , kailan kasal niyo?”

Nagkibit-balikat ako sa narinig.

“Sa next week. I currently preparing for the place, ” Michelle answered.

Bakit hindi ko alam na may ibang place pala siyang inihanda para sa kasal namin? I didn't know. I guess sa simbahan pero inaayos lang ang decorations.

“I’ll make our wedding looks elegant and unique.” She added. They both shouted and yelling.

At that night, everything is good. Ang ganda ng party. May dance booth and mostly meron din silang message booth which I had received message from Michelle says,

To my future husband,

   I am really thankful for having you as my love of my life. I have no regrets for having you beside me. All of my “ sana” turns to reality. ’Yong dating : Sana babalik ka; sana tanggap mo parin ako; sana ako lang ’yong minamahal ko, sana maging mabuti kang ama. Lahat ng ’yon ay nagkatotoo. The most challenging part of me is that, he moved away from me just to fight and defend me. I wait him for almost a year. And now, he’s finally here. Erick Tan, you are always be my love.

I smiled while staring at her stated those amazing words, words of motivation. The party has ended. It all ends happily. As expected, next of this memorable days would be the unforgettable one.

The hopes that I always awaits for is now finally here. After this week would be Michelle and I wedding day.

“Hey love, how was the party?” Michelle said while massaging me at her room. Medyo napagod lang ako kasi tumulong ako na mag assist sa mga bisita namin. Lumunok muna ako bago sumagot.

“I am always okay, as long as you are here with me. You have nothing to worry.” I said. I pulled her closer to me until our face and eyes meets together. I can’t explain what I am feeling after I become much near to her face. I can’t stop myself until I have meet her lips. She smirked.

We both together sleeping at bed. It was midnight. The moon shine so bright and it's light reflects to the both of us. It seems my world changed.
