Both

The brunette girl changed into something a bit more comfortable to talk in. Some pajama shorts and a tank top. She sat on the opposite end of the couch, facing a certain boy with blue eyes. Macy was still wondering how he knew where she lived and wondered what they would talk about.

"How did you know where I live? No, that's not even my first, why did you kiss me?" Macy tilted her head, confused with the earlier events. Her eyes we trained on the blond boy, waiting for answers to her question.

"I blew up Rosie's phone until she gave me the address and I came here to proclaim my love?" The last part sounded unsure, which didn't convince Macy. "Wait, what are you doing up?"

"Um . . I was watching How I Met Your Mother and you were knocking loud enough it reached my room and not my dads, Bailey, Rosie or Alfie." Macy explained. Luke was caught off guard at the mention of Macy's dad. No he was more caught off guard by the male name Alfie.

"Your dad? Alfie?" Luke asked, confused. He was hoping for an answer that could clear everything up. His veins were starting to fill up with jealousy of the mention of another male that he didn't know.

"Yeah, my dad woke up from coma so my brother, Alfie, came to vist along with his wife and their daughter." Macy explained.

"So you're the baby of the family?" Luke asked, amused. He had always assumed that she was a middle child.

"So are you, Lucas." Macy shot back. She shifted in her spot before she grew comfortable. The brunette quickly looked at the clock behind Luke's head to see it was almost four. "As much as I enjoy our AM conversations, it's really late and I would enjoy at least 2 hours of sleep before I attend my last day at University tomorrow."

"Oh yeah." Luke replied, taking notice of the time. He got up before he realized something. "Uh, do you mind giving me a ride home? I took a taxi here."

"Was the cabbie nice?" Macy asked, getting up and grabbing the keys off the coffee table.

"We had a nice conversation about how the 1975 is one of the best bands out there." Luke nodded, before noticing Macy's 1975 bracelet. "I like your bracelets by the way."

Macy nodded before taking Luke outside. They both got in her car and she started the engine. The car roared with life, the radio soon started to let out the music of Blank Space by Taylor Swift.

"I see you handled your break up pretty well." Luke noted, pressing the eject button. He took out the 1989 CD and took a look at it. Macy simply pulled out of her driveway.

"The girl knows how to get over a break up and write a song about it." Macy admitted before she turned on the radio. The two sat in silent, listening to Never Forget You by Zara Larsson & MNEK.

"Cause once upon a time you were my everything. It's clear to see that time hasn't changed a thing. It's very deep inside me but I feel there's something you should know. I will never forget you. You'll always be by my side from the day I met you, I knew I would love you to the day I die."

Macy smiled when she felt Luke's warm breaths against her bare back. Her heart was going at a steady rate but she remembered how it was beating fast eariler. Along with her laughter when she found out that Luke was a virgin. The brunette tried to get in a comfortable position but Luke's arms stopped her. His arms pulled Macy closer to his body and his grip tighten.

"Go to sleep." Luke commanded the brunette. Macy couldn't help but enjoy how warm the pale boy was. She soon started to drift off to sleep before she had one final thought. He was the one.

"We're here." Macy announced, parking outside of Luke's house. The two sat in an awkward silence, waiting for someone to say something.

"Can we try again?" Luke asked. Macy was taken aback from the question, knowing what he was referring to.

"So I could be head over heels for you? So I can have my heart broken again by the same boy? To have you pick someone else who isn't me? When you clearly told me that you were going to pick me?" Macy asked, holding back her tears, but that didn't stop her voice from cracking.

"It wasn't like that." Luke tried to convince Macy. He wanted her back in his arms, he wanted to protect her.

"Then why did you pick her?" Macy questioned, turning her head to look at Luke. His heart was breaking knowing that he broke his love.

"Jenna. She told me that I had to pick Vicki." The brunette teary smiled at Luke's words.

"Maybe we should start over."
