Luke Hemmings

He missed her. He craved her. He loved her. He loves her. He wishes that she was beside him. He wants her. He wants Macy Newman. The only girl who made him feel like himself. The only girl that he truly loved.

Vicki Jones, she was the female that seemed to put a spell on Luke. A spell that made him forget about his love for Macy Newman. A spell that would only exist in a Disney movie or in Harry Potter.

Luke stared at Macy's back while she payed repect to her mum who had recently passed away. Luke felt pity for the brunette, but he knew that she didn't want his pity. He wished that he was the one beside her, instead of watching Jasper comfort the brunette.

Everyone had left, everyone but Macy and Luke. Macy stayed to grieve over her mother's death while Luke stayed to comfort the fragile girl.

"You okay?" Luke asked the girl.

"No." Macy choked out.

It broke Luke's heart that the girl he loved was going through a painful process. That she was the one too suffer so much, and it started all with him. He wished he could just kiss her, without being in a horrible situation. He wanted too hug her, let her stain his black shirt, let her cry while he told her that it would be all right.

"My dad is still in coma." Macy told Luke. Luke didn't know about Macy's parents being in the hospital. He should've known with all of the hints that were dropped. "My mum is dead, and he doesn't know. He isn't here to give his final respects to his wife, he is still in between life and death. He is still thinking about moving on and staying."

"Sometimes, we can never move on."

Macy Newman

He was there for her. Unlike her boyfriend who gave her a kiss and left. Luke was letting her crying in front of him before Macy asked him to leave. Macy wasn't sure if she even liked Jasper. She wasn't sure if she should leave the cemetery. The only thing she was sure of was that it was getting late. And she had a letter to open.

Macy sat on her bed, staring at the letter in front of her. It was a letter from her mom, written years ago. Judging by the date on the letter, a day after Macy was born. Her hands shook while she carefully opened the letter.

Dear Mulan,

I know we named you Macy but I know one day you will be a fearless warrior. Maybe greater than Mulan. The reason why I am writing this letter is because I know I am going to be proud of who you are going to be one day. Yesterday, you were born, you didn't cry. Instead you were laughing. I knew you would be a brilliant young lady who will make a change in the world. Listen to your heart and ignore whatever people tell you.

Love,
Mabeth Newman ♡

Tears were streaming down Macy's face. Macy has been failing her mother's dying wish ever since she stopped chasing Luke. But Macy couldn't do anything about it anymore since he will soon be married with a child. All she wants is for some crazy miracle to happen. For example, he runs away from the bitch and takes Macy to Orlando or London.

Luke Hemmings

"Are you okay Lukey?" Vicki asked the blond boy. She was rubbing her non-existence stomach, the one that was supposed to carry his child. The one that they made from sextual activity that caused a female to hold life in her for about two months. Seven more months to go.

"Yeah, just thinking about the lads." Luke replied. He was actually thinking about Macy Newman and her smile. The girl who seemed cold hearted but is really a fragile girl. The girl who isn't afraid to be herself around other people.
