Both
Macy's heart beated fast as she remembered the night before. She never realized how much fast she fell for Luke. She never knew she would like someone this much. She stood by Rosie and Vicki as she was sure Luke would pick her. The things he said the night before had pointed out that he liked her back and was ready to pick her. Macy's heart picked up its pace as she saw Luke walk in and stood beside Trent. She eyed the single red rose as Trent begun his speech.
"After a wild season on Take a Pick, it is finally the time for Luke to pick his love." Trent said as he nodded at Luke. Luke's hand started to sweat as he picked up the deep red rose. He stared at it before looking up at the three girls. He had to pick one and he knew which one he had to pick.
Macy extended her left hand to Rosie which she took. It was a signal to say that she is nervous and ready. Rosie held out her left hand to Vicki, to which Macy and Rosie's suprise, she took. The three girls held hands as they waited for the next few sentences.
"So Luke, who do you pick?" Trent asked before adding a pun. "Take a Pick."
Luke stared at the three girls before he opened his mouth to answer. "Vicki John."
With those two words that formed a name, Macy's world fell down. She felt a heavy weight on her chest as she looked at the girl who won Luke's heart. As a tradition of the show, Macy and Rosie hugged Vicki before watching Vicki walking up to Luke and accepting the rose. Macy and Rosie waited for the lights on the camera to turn off before they left.
As soon as they left the room, they hugged each other as Macy let tears run down her face. Rosie knew why she was one of the three, because everyone loved her. But Macy was one of the three because Luke cared about her, but it doesn't look like it. Rosie rubbed Macy's back before pulling apart and leaving with Macy to pack up.
First she lost a friend because Luke was her ex. Now she lost Luke. She lost the most important people in her life because of Luke. She frowned at the thought as she entered the room to be hugged by the three people who gave her advice through the whole show. They helped her pack everything before hugging a good bye. As Macy walked out, she saw Rosie, they both looked at each other.
"Where do you live exactly?" Macy asked Rosie.
"South Sydney." Rosie answered. Macy smiled.
"I do too."
