Sebastian has not slept since the night before and Niklaus had her head down at the foot of Chris' hospital bed. Scarlett caught up to her flight, but it took Sebastian about an hour to convince her to go. She wasn't so worry-free when she left. Her friend was just shot infront of her while they were out... It wasn't something normal people shrug off and moves on from.

The hospital room looked much more friendlier than Niklaus' old one where it was all white. This one has cerulean, teal and beige walls. The window was lined up where the patient could see from their beds to the outside. The view was a sure change of scenery for all of them because it lacked building walls and instead had an open field.

Sebastian was listening to music and looking down on his iphone when he heard an 'ow' at the end of the bed. He looks up to Niklaus and find her rubbing her head and glaring at Chris' direction. Relief washed over them when he started chuckling and his blue eyes twinkling but droopy. He has a stupid smile on his face that made his eyes squint a bit.

"You can't get rid of me that easily." He says. The other two got up and Niklaus pulls him into a hug.

"Don't ever do that again" Niklaus said against his chest and he rubs her back in return.

"I second what she says you, Punk." Sebastian reaches for Chris shoulder and gives it a squeeze, looking at him sympathetically.

"Jerk." Chris rolls his eyes and pulls Sebastian in a one armed hug.

"Bitch. Wait what?"

They all laugh.

Chris' P.O.V.

I have to admit I haven't been in this much pain since I was in high school and that story is for another time.

Last night was unexpected. Some guy started harassing Scarlett's friend to the point where he was forcing himself unto her and dragging her. Scar was about to jump in, but I just couldn't let her do that. So I step in and things got more heated, getting physical and then he pulled out a gun.

Man, was I dumb to call it a bluff even though my hands were up.

So end of story, he shoots me.

My face was kind of scratched up and my lip was busted. Also the bullet broke a rib and missed my vital organs so that's good on my behalf. Recovery time doesn't seem too long because Sebastian and Niklaus are with me to pass the time. Though I am a bit worried about how much time I'd take away from filming Infinity War.

"Scar said you saved her and her friend, y'know." Sebastian starts. I was inspecting one of the tubes in my arm and I looked up to answer.

"If that's what you call saving." I humor. He raises his eyebrow at me.

"Don't be modest."

"I'm not being modest though.. I just did what people should have done. If somebody stopped the guy from harassing her friend way before he even pulled out a gun, it would have never happened." It really wasn't modesty. It's morals. If that still exist in this time. The woman was being objectified and clearly she didn't want anything to do with the man and the man turning for an alternative to get what he wants by enforcing himself was a shitty move. Everybody knows that, but nobody stopped him.

"Your character is really getting into your head, you know that?"Sebastian jokes, shaking his head while smiling.

"I've been told.. I've been told." I put a hand on my chest, laughing and stopping when I felt a burning sensation from my torso. I grimaced slightly at the pain, unnoticeably. Kind of.

"You good? I mean that's a stupid question, but your
face just did the thing." He motions at his face while talking about mine and miming it.

"I'm good. I just need to walk it off." Sebastian opens his mouth to speak but was interrupted by faint singing from the outside of the hall.

We were both silent, listening to the singing. The voice sounded strangely familiar.

"When red changes to blue

What will you do

To covet the medal that's around your chest?

You did your best

But it's no fun

Being second-to-none

And so you walk it off"

The rest was humming then a door opening and slamming back fast with a muffled 'oh shit'

The scatter of feet and my room's door opening to a very embarrassed Niklaus carrying boxes of pizza with her earphones in was enough to tell us the story.

Me and Sebastian started giggling, escalating into laughter. Niklaus was flushed, started walking to us and puts the boxes on my lap and collapses on the chair.

"Shaddup...I just walked into the wrong room and they were having sex." She puts her head in her hands, giving a tight-lipped smile at the floor.

"I thought this only happened in porn."

Me and Sebastian were still laughing until we finally hear the moaning.

"Oh my go-" Niklaus buries her face in the mattress, her ears were red.

"Oh no, Chris, what if that happened in this bed before" Sebastian comments and Niklaus abruptly lifts her head.

"Don't even." I warn and he gives me an innocent look.

Niklaus was glaring at him, pumping some of the bedside hand sanitizer into her hands.

"I'm not touching anything-" She waves her hand to the whole room.

"- or any of you for the rest of the day."She points to me and Sebastian with two fingers.

"... Except the pizza."

Same, I thought.
