Chapter 14: Unspoken Tears

Maxwell, if you're curious to what he would look like. Now on with the story.
------------------
Alfred slumped against the door for the hospital room his ex-friend was currently residing in. He was crying profusely as he took in what just happened, but didn't get to for long as he had to move out of the way when a nurse rushed passed him and into Maxwell's hospital room. She most likely heard Maxwell's heart monitor and wanted to see what was wrong with her patient.

He heard muffled talking in the room which was most likely Max reassuring the nurse that he was fine and just lied about having a bad dream. The nurse came out of the room with a relieved look spread across her face and nodded at him before returning to the desk area where she had previously doing paperwork. America took off Texas and wiped his eyes with a gloved hand before plopping the glasses back on his face and trying to gather his messy emotions together. That proved to be more difficult then he originally thought.

"Hey America?! America is that you da-ze?" The loud question of a certain South Korean caused America's head to snap towards the direction where the voice came from which was the elevator. America's eyes landed on the Asian nations who were all making their way towards him right now. Great! Just what he needed. The most stoic nations of all (not including South Korea that dude's awesome!), probably here to scold him for running out of the meeting.

How did they even know he'd be here? Are they stalking him like Maxwell did? God he hoped not! One crazy love obsessed stalker is enough thank you very much!

America didn't bother to smile for the older nations and just leaned back against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. Once they stood in front of him, South Korea jumped at the American wrapping his lean arms around America and squeezing him tightly into a hug. North Korea looked disgusted by his little brother's actions and scoffed as he decided to look anywhere but the friendly nations. How could his brother bring himself to hug that....that capitalist pig?!

Vietnam while having very much tension with America in the past couldn't bring herself to be angry or look hatefully at the American at the moment though if you asked her she wouldn't know why herself. Japan would've joined South Korea in hugging the American representative but his fear of his personal space kept him where he stood (he wished sometimes that he didn't fear it). China, being the oldest, was the most observant out of the foreign nations and noticed the little things about America.

Like the dark bags under Alfred's baby blue eyes or the redness that rimmed said eyes giving the idea that America had been crying before they stumbled upon him. Since America had rushed towards the hospital with someone in his arms, the door America was standing in front most likely belonged to the person America had been carrying.

"America, have you been crying, aru?" China commented causing America to grow tense in the Korean's embrace. "No! I mean what dude do you mean? You're just seeing things man. I'm fine just a little allergies is all. Well would you look at the time, I think I have a meeting with my boss. So catch ya later bros!" America rambled, prying himself from the Southern Korean's embrace and took of towards the stairs without even waiting for a reply from the baffled nations.

What the heck just happened?
