The hooded figure made no move to walk closer to where the long haired boy stood, but kept the distance between them before raising their hands to push back the hood of their cloak to reveal a girl with hair the color of snow and eyes the color of pale blue ice. 

A crooked smile forming on her lips as she looked at him "Well, well, well, I didn't think you had the guts to show up here." she said. "Guts is about all I have it would seem." the boy replied casually. 

"You cut through the old town by the tracks, didn't you, so no one would see you there." she said. 

"Maybe I walked right through the middle of the province with nothing but my cloak and my songbird pin." the boy replied, as they both burst into laughter and ran towards each other before closing the distance between them and hugged tightly.
