Raven pinned Alistar to the floor once again, their faces inches from one another. She smirked and inched a little closer to him, she whispered in his ear. "Pinned you." They both heaved heavily breathing as she stood up. Raven laughed as she stood over Alistar. He let out a low groan as he rolled over, Raven had flipped him over twelve different times including the time she nearly punched him in the face.

"Alistar, you know you should be better at this right?"

"What?"

"You're a prince, you should have had training."

"I did, they just haven't been great. I am not good at this. I am not strong like you think I am."

"You are, you just don't believe in yourself like you should." Raven replied as Devery stood with a nod. "Even Devery agrees with me."

Devery smirked and looked over Raven. "That I do. She is one of the best trainers I have ever seen." Alistar let out a groan as he finally stood. He was covered in sweat, his body glistening. Devery snickered as Alistar let out a groan, he looked broken.

"You okay?"

"Feel dead, I have never done that before." He smiled as he stretched. "But we can get food now right? Or visit the people in the town?"

"Whatever you would like to do, you are the prince after all. More training tonight or tomorrow though." Raven replied.

"I...I feel an obligation to these people. They have nothing with my father. I can see now that he isn't doing the things the king should do for their people. Oh did we have medical supplies sent to that town? More food?" He looked towards Devery desperate.

Devery nodded "We are collecting things sire."

He let out a sigh or relief. "Please see to it that they get what the need please." He hugged Devery, Devery tensed as he did so. He relaxed after a few second. Alistar let go. "I will be in the bathhouse if you need me." Before Devery could stop him to inform him of something he was off.

Alistar ran into the room disrobed and stepped into the warm bathwater, it was much more like a pool than anything, almost like a winding lake or river. He began to clean himself when he heard a splash. His eyes grew wide, he turned to look behind him to see a large fish tail splash. He nearly screamed as the tail popped up once again. He sat on the step of the bath trying not to be eaten by whatever this was.

What came out of the water was not a giant fish like he had thought but instead the upper half of a women. His eyes grew wide as he grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his lower half ben though he was still in the water. "What are you doing in my bath?"

"This is the place the 'king' decided would be best for me to swim around in. I was plucked from the ocean and put in this." She gestured upward around the manmade room. She missed the ocean.

"Plucked from the ocean?"

She lifted up her lower half, and the tail he thought belonged to a monster actually belonged to her, a mermaid. His eyes grew wide. "Wha-"

"I am a gift from that princess who visited you recently, because my life doesn't seem to matter does it."

"I think it does." He said, he had finally calmed down and was able to see what she looked like. She had coral colored hair, ocean blue eyes and pale pink skin. Her tail was orange and white. "I...I have a lake nearby..I know it wouldn't be like the ocean..I don't know how close it is. I can see it out my window but it would still be a trip.. I don't want you to die."

"A lake?"

"Fish and things, like a freshwater ocean."

"I suppose that could work." She smiled. "I would like that."

"You scared me...so bad." He breathed.

"Next time make sure you see if anyone else is in the bath before you get in." She snickered as she began to play with the water making small water like fish float above the bath. His eyes grew wide, he had only heard stories of creatures like her. He knew there were dragons and things within the world but they were a large island rather than a country. Very few dragons lived near them, they had no place to nest well, he hardly knew of any creatures that were close by. He knew he ate some different species unicorn and things, but had no idea there were any within their country.

She swam off to let him finish getting ready, he got out of the bath and made his way to his room. He dressed himself up and made his way to Devery. "There was a mermaid in my bathhouse?!"

"Yes sire, I was trying to tell you."

"Will you carry her to the lake? She sounds like she would enjoy it more than my bathhouse." Devery nodded with a smile, Alistar was just and kind even to creatures. He knew he would be a great king, Devery headed off to bring the women to the lake. The moment she hit the water her eyes grew brighter, her smile got bigger and she dove under the water.

It wasn't the ocean but the views she could see from under the water was good enough, the different fish kois and goldfish as well as some other creatures. She splashed and smiled waving to Devery as she swam in a circle. She was happy, she may not be back in the ocean, but at least she wasn't in the bath of a human.

Alistar smiled knowing he would be able to see her again.

That was when he heard his father calling for them, he rolled his eyes wanting to see the people of his town, he headed to the throne room and stood before his father. Alistar gulped as he walked in, multiple nobles stood watching as he stood.

"We need to talk."
