Min Holly leads them to the bush he was sniffing under a few minutes ago. They catch a strange scent, too, and start sniffing, searching the bushes along the fence.

Tannie finds it first; he tilts his little head, looking at the little creature.

"Annyeong."(hello) Smiles Tannie.

The little creature looks at him in fear. "I want my mommy. Please don't eat me."

Tannie steps back in shock but tenderly woofs, "Why would I want to eat you?"

Sadly, the little creature says, "Most do, that is how I lost my mommy. A cat caught her and dragged her off."

The little creature is crying, huddled against the bush. Min Holly has noticed Tannie has stopped sniffing around.

He walks over to him and asks, "What is it?" He looks where Tannie is staring and sees a little bird trembling in fear.

"Hello. Aren't you a little too young to be out on your own?" Min Holly asks with concern.

"A, a cat tried to take me, and my mommy fought the cat and. . ." the little bird starts crying.

With sorrow in his tender woof, Min Holly asks, "The cat got your eomma?"

The baby bird nods. "My mommy saved me, but now she is gone." Tannie is softly whimpering, crying for the little bird.

Min Holly noses closer to the little bird. "Don't be afraid, we will help you." With trust in his eyes, the little bird stumbles over to Min Holly and nestles against his furry paw.

Bam comes bounding over excitedly asking, "Whatcha find? Whatcha got? Can I see?"

Tannie blocks him as he tries to nose into the bush. "Shh, you'll scare the baby."

Bam tilts his head questioningly, "Baby? What baby?"

By this time, Mickey had strolled over to see what they had found. "Hey, it's a baby bird. What's it doing here?" He looked above into the tree. "It must have fallen out of its nest."

The little bird is still nestled close to Min Holly's paw, trembling at the sight of the other dogs, especially the tall one.

Min Holly woofs at the others, "Move back. You're scaring the little one."

Tannie is lying on the ground trying to make himself appear smaller to the baby. With his face close to the little bird's he asks, "Are you hurt anywhere?"

The little bird peeks at Tannie and shakes his head. "No, I'm just scared. I don't want that cat to find me. But, but I can't get back home."

Bam says, "Don't worry, my little new friend. I'll go get my dad. He will know what to do. My dad's the Golden Maknae. He can do anything." Bam turns and runs back to the house.

Mickey, Tannie, and Min Holly suddenly become alert and start growling. The little bird is fearfully chirping as he tries to hide in Min Holly's soft, curly fur. "Don't let it eat me, please."

A grumpy cat jumps down from the tree. "There you are, my tasty little morsel. Come here, and let me have just a taste." It tries to meow lovingly to the little bird, but no one falls for it, let alone the baby bird.

Tannie, Min Holly, and Mickey block the cat from the baby bird. Min Holly says, "Stay back! You're trespassing!" 

The cat smirks and starts licking his paw like he doesn't have a care in the world. He stops to speak, "What are you going to do, little bitty doggie, hmmm?" and he starts licking his other paw.

Mickey steps forward growling, "Have you heard of Kim Yeontan, the Dog Park Hero?"

The cat steps back and looks at them in surprise. "Which of you is Yeontan?" They can hear the fear in his voice.

"I am." Tannie bares his teeth and growls for good measure.

Min Holly tries not to snicker at the incredulous look on the cat's face, but it comes out sounding like a growl. Mickey, thinking Min Holly meant to do that, growls at the cat as well with his most stern 'I'm the dad that's why, growl.'

The cat cowered hunkered down. "Please accept my most humble apology for trespassing in your lovely backyard. If you don't mind, I think I will move on. It was very nice meeting you all."

Trying to leave without incident the cat passes the little bird but he can't help but glare at it angry he missed out on the tasty little morsel.

That was a big mistake.
