APPEARANCE: Blond shortish hair, amber eyes. Lightish skin, relatively tall. 

TALENT(S):

1. Positive emotional influencing. This means he can make sad people cheer up, or make happy people happier. Usually this makes people open up, let their guard down, see the funniness in everything, and be prone to laughter. Advantage: Helps him use his other powers, cheers people up. Disadvantage: He can't use it on himself or his twin.  It would make sense if Mini had some kind of negative emotional influencing?  Opposite powers are always cool.  Thoughts?

2. Healing. They say that laughter is the best medicine after all. His jokes can physically heal you, but they only work if you laugh out loud. The longer you laugh the more you're cured/energized. Advantage: Healing! Yay! Disadvantage: How well it works is entirely dependent on how good the joke is/how much the person laughs.  Be cool if Mini had the ability to like, harm people or something.  Your call, obviously.  Not all the powers need to be opposites or anything

3. Immunity. Gem's positive outlook has made him immune to most hazards of the world. He's immune to disease, poison, and temperature, and it's very difficult to injure him at all (see major curse). He can transfer this talent to someone else for a limited period (a few hours) if they laugh at one of his jokes. Advantage: It's next to impossible to injure him at all. Disadvantage: This has made him kind of reckless.  I can't think of any opposite to this.  If you want you can swipe the power for your character, or ignore it completely, or whatever you want.

PERSONAL SKILL:

He can summon specific items that he designates to himself from anywhere. He can only designate five items at a time. The items he currently has designated are his favorite pencil, a pair of sunglasses (used as a comedy prop), a pocket knife, a flashlight, and a sword (be prepared!). Like his talents, this ability does not work if he is unhappy or angry. Advantage: Super convenient. Disadvantage: Limited in use, it's pretty obvious he's using magic when he does it.=

CURSE(S):

1. Major curse: When Gem is unhappy or angry, he can't use any of his talents and he's extremely vulnerable to injury/illness (stubbing his toe could break a bone). Because of this, he does his absolute best to repress and push down emotional pain, as sadness could be deadly.

2. Minor curse: His sleepwalking is unreal. Once he actually woke up on an airplane having sleep-bought a ticket to toronto. He had a fun time explaining that to his boss. This has put him in some dangerous situations as well.

PERSONALITY: Bright and cheerful, always telling jokes and trying to make his friends happy. Protective of his friends, often comedy-roasts people who make them annoyed. Pranks people often, has started numerous prank wars. He always has a smile on his face and an optimistic outlook.

He's cheifly a friendly funny optimist, but he can be serious when he needs to be, without sacrificing any of these qualities. He cares deeply about things. He's intensely focused on finding his book, and helping his friends with what they need. He can often be mistaken for being oblivious, but he's keenly aware of group dynamics, and constantly works to keep his friends together. He's also often underestimated due to his positivity, but he's not afraid to fight if he needs to.

He's an extrovert who goes out of his way to bring people together and help them get along. He's the life of the party. He dances on tables. He enjoys life to the fullest.

BACKSTORY: His cover story is that his sister and he moved here from australia. His real backstory is that he discovered his powers through trial and error, he absolutely loves his genre, and he plans to get his pages back by searching dilligently, although he's also equally focused on helping his friends with their pages.

STRENGTHS:

1. Personality related: Humor (surprise!). His sense of humor is wide and varied, he can tell jokes, make witty comments, do humerous imitations. Despite his positive outlook he's also capable of extreme sarcasm/shade, irony, and dark humor. He's a little overly fond of bad puns.

2. Power related: Compatability. His talents all build on each other and make it easier to use.

WEAKNESSES:

1. Personality related: Emotional repressing. Not only does he hate feeling anything other than happy, but it's physically dangerous for him. This has led to a lot of emotional repressing.

2. Power related: He has no talents that help him defeat enemies or prevent bad things from happening. His powers won't help him at all in searching for the pages.

LIKES: Laughter, his friends, drawing comics, pulling pranks on people, making puns, doodling, grinning like an idiot, banjo music, little kids, the color blue

QUESTIONS:

1. He has a part time job looking after kids and reading to them at the library.  This is the same library Mini works at.

2. He's unsure of what to do. He spends his free time asking around, looking for people the pages might be attracted to. He's also very invested in helping his friends with their pages.

4. He'd be good at any class involving creativity. Math and science would be more difficult, but not terrible. He writes hilarious essays, but they tend to get bad grades. He'd join an improv or theatre club, and any clubs his friends were part of. I'm not sure what a school festival is, but if you mean a preformance he'd try and do a stand up routine.
