Guy: "Our love could be like the wind, you can't see it but you can feel it. How about we start it?"

Me: "Oh! Cool! That could be a start of a poem."

Guy: *looked a bit hurt*

Friend: *facepalm*

Guy: "I guess it could be..." *leaves looking sad*

Me: *see's friend facepalm* "What?"

Friend: "That was a pickup line you moron!"

Me: *suddenly feels really bad* "OH! That's why he looked so sad! Now I feel bad."

Still feels bad. But I have to know, if a guy said that to you, would you take that as a pickup line, because it doesn't look like one. And if you do want to know, pickup lines go over my head all the time.
