That's right, I'm ranting about YOU Fortine.

The absolute rageist game I've had the joy of playing, and you're not even officially considered a rage game. Also the first game that's had my mum force me to close the door to my room cause I was quite literally screaming at the tv.

You are fun, but you're also the WORST.

You made me want to punch a wall more than every incident of school drama except that one incident (and that's really saying something).

It probably doesn't help that I SUCK at 3rd person shooters and I'm waaaaaay to passive to go to places where I can actually get good loots or raid air drops unless they literally land on top of me. Oh then there's also my hyper caution when it comes to staying inside the storm eye, but still.

I've yet to get a win in ANY game mode period, even with the assistance of friends who are actually competent at game.

Instead I come second and die to fall damage because lag.

*Turns Caps lock on* GOD DAMN IT FORTNITE (AND EASTLINK TOO BUT THAT'S ITS OWN RANT), WHY YOU GOTTA TAUNT ME LIKE THAT.

*Turns Caps lock off* phew, sorry the angry caps are real right now.

Anyway, for those of the 5 of you who have played Fortnite you know full well what I'm talking about. For those of you who don't I will offer a semi brief explanation about what Fortnite is.

Fortnite is a third person shooter where you play rounds with abouts 100 people in various game modes, solo (you're by yourself), duos (you've got a friend) or squads (you've got 3 friends).

You start by flying over an island in a magical flying bus. You have around a minute ish to jump out of said bus and skydive down to the island. Then you have to decide where to land, the cities with lots of loot, but everyone goes there (not where I go) or a building somewhere else that people are less likely to go through, but less loot (where I go). You start with nothing, but after you land you raid chests found in buildings to get guns and shield potions and things like that.

About a minute after the bus finishes it's trip the storm forms.

By this point between a quarter and half the players will already be dead, meaning you are far less likely to encounter other people who will try to kill you.

The storm fixes this.

It makes the players move and stay in smaller and smaller sections of the map (called the eye of the storm) or face storm damage and eventually death by storm. Eventually, after about 15-20 minutes, when the storm eye has shrunk to the tiniest portion of the map, the remaining players die and there is one player remaining, the winner (not me).

So yeah, people use various strategies to try to become that person. Me being the hyper passive player I am, is a bush camper.

Feel free to tell me I'm the scum of the Fortnite community, but that's how I'm eventually going to win and then you'll see.
