The High Functioning
Name; James Finn O'Conner
Age; 18
Gender; Male
Role; The High Functioning
Face Claim; Thomas Hayes
Personality; Most would probably describe James as an obnoxious goofball. They type to often have a sassy comeback, a flirty joke, or some type of joke in general to break the tension. Not one to shrink to the background, he usually has something to say, though more then often it might come off almost as if he doesn't take anything seriously. However, don't be fooled, behind the jokes, and loud sass, is a young man with brains. He's smart, even if what's coming out of his mouth doesn't always sound like it. While vocal, he certainly isn't one of the 'in' crowd, not that he gives a rats ass what anyone thinks of him, or quite frankly, what is said about him. He's pretty open to experiment sexually, and hasn't made it a secret either. Male, female, it doesn't matter, as long as both parties have a good time. He likes a little thrill in his life, some challenge. One to roll with the punches, he's pretty chill, it would take a decent amount to rile him up. Underneath the sarcasm and jokes lies a loyal friend, if anyone would take the time to truly get to know him. Though often times it seems like he doesn't care, while there are in fact a lot of things he doesn't care about, it's not lack of capability to care. Suffers from resting bitch face until he opens his mouth, or cracks a joke. A sassy jokester with a smart side, and a kind heart.

(Scenario)
James leaned back in the seat, his arms behind his head, hands cupping his neck, as he waited. Part of him figured, nothing was going to happen, after all, he didn't do it. Alas, he couldn't quite quiet that small nagging feeling that maybe he would actually go to jail for this.
He began tapping his foot lightly, growing impatient. Granted, the first officer he had spoken to had slammed the door behind her, as she hadn't taken his antics too kindly. Granted, maybe he had pushed his luck insinuating that of course, he couldn't have done it, because didn't she remember? He had been in her bed at the time of the crime. Which, was a blatant lie, but clearly, the officer hadn't shared his sense of humor. In his defense, they were pretty vague about the actual time of the crime, and what exactly they supposedly had on him.
The door opened, this time revealing an older male officer, emitting the bad cop type of vibe. Like he usually played the least sympathetic role during interviews. Since no one entered behind him, James figured there wasn't going to be a good cop, bad cop routine going on, with one trying to be sympathetic, while the other played hardball. No, the man before him seemed to be all hardball, and no humor. James' least favorite type of person to be around.
"It seems we can add obstruction of justice, and inappropriate behavior towards an officer to your current charges Mr. O'Conner." The officer took a seat on the other side of the table, eyes narrowing.
"Sheesh, no one can take a joke these days." James rolled his eyes, "I said I didn't do it, but maybe if you gave me an actual time on when the crime was committed I could actually tell you my whereabouts."
Before the officer could answer, James interrupted. "I mean, was it during school hours? Then I was probably at school. After school hours? Depends on the time. Probably in someone's bed. Your sister says hello by there way." He offered a playful wink, pushing his luck, again.
"I don't think you understand how serious this is young man. You're not doing yourself any favors, and you're not listening." The officer leaned closer, over the table, his hands pressed against the cold metal as he did so.
"No, you're the one not listening." James was serious all of the sudden, so done with this. "I already told the other officer, I didn't do it. How about instead of being so vague with me, you do your fucking job?" James leaned forward too, his hands folded together on his lap.
"How dare you-" The officer began to protest, but James continued.
"No. You tell me the exact time of the crime, so I can tell you where I was. You tell me what you supposedly have, because I wasn't there. How about you look for the person that actually did it, instead of wasting both of our time. And officer? I want my phone call." His voice held an edge, he was so done. Normally, it wasn't so easy to get under his skin, but he had been stuck here for over an hour, and they were being extremely vague with him. He knew his rights and he wasn't putting up with this bullshit anymore.
He already had to go in circles once with the first officer, and no one was telling him much of anything, let alone listening to him. He really didn't want to call his mom, but it looks like he had no choice. If he couldn't get out of here himself, he would have to rely on her, which he hated doing.
It had started to set in that this had gotten serious. In the beginning, he could crack jokes, because he was positive, that he hadn't done it, therefore it was logical that they didn't actually have anything that could hold him here. Since they weren't letting him go though, that seemed not to be the case. That nagging feeling he would actually go to jail for his seemed to only grow stronger, his foot tapping more rapidly against the floor, as the officer left without saying anything else, seemingly done dealing with James. He began to rub his hands on his jeans, trying to remain calm, which, he was normally good at doing.
