It means "In Memory Of Carl".  That's my grandpa's name. Not gonna go into detail but at his funeral one of his classmates gave a tribute and she said "Instead of saying ' I could have did this before he died, or I should have done that before he died, go out and do something In Memory Of Carl, let's call it IMOC"

So yeah
