Interaction Drawings- Next Gen

So since some of my pictures are at my Mums and I don't have them, I decided to show the ones I do have!

I drew some interactions between some of them soooo here it is!

This one is pretty self explanatory. Orion and Leo have had a rivalry since they were young, given they both have competitive personalities and Dads to impress. I might've messed up Leo's hair a little

One of the few confirmed ships I've made is between Jasper and Aaron. Aaron is the shyer one, a little more hesitant to take the relationship to the next step but still is highly invested in it. Jasper is more excited and bouncy about it, loving to hold hands, kiss and pretty much anything that has physical touch involved, he's up for. He still gets flustered around Aaron, but not nearly as much as Aaron does around him.

Finally, a comment by Iceshard1011 inspired this one with Cecelia and Hemlock.

Ice made a comment about thinking how I described Cecelia latching onto people being literal and this just kinda happened.

Incase it's difficult to tell, Cecelia is hugging onto Hemlock from behind, and here's the dialogue I added.

Hemlock: Cecelia?

Cecelia: Yeah?

Hemlock: It's kinda hard to work like this.

Cecelia: Like that's gonna stop you.

Hemlock: Dang it woman...

Cecelia: You know you love me~

Cecelia is more outwardly affection in terms of hugging and such and doing lots of different favors or giving little gifts while Hemlock says it more in her words and actions, preferring to do a couple big gestures of affection rather than many small ones.

This also led me to write a little small thing:

Third Person (wow what a shocker)
When Cecelia entered Hemlock's room that morning to bring her breakfast, she instantly noticed something was wrong.

Hemlock was by her work desk, but all of her projects were off to the side and she just sat there. Her elbows were propped up on the table, and her face was buried in her hands. Her normally braided green and purple hair was frizzed and untamed, something she normally took care of first thing in the morning. She wasn't even wearing her suit, just in a white shirt and pants.

Frowning, Cecelia looked for answers, and finally found another off putting thing in her room: Suitcases, and several of them. Most of her room was now empty, and only her work desk was at least partially there.

Taking in a breath and brushing back her wavy, orange hair, Cecelia knocked a little on the door. Hemlock whirled around, alarmed, but then stopped dead when she noticed her girlfriend. Unlike her normally friendly face, Hemlock's yellow eyes were filled with guilt and pain, something she normally hid so well.

"Cecelia..." Hemlock breathed, her voice shaking before she covered her eyes and turned away. "Breakfast... Right, I should've known. You always bring breakfast at this time..." It was difficult to put in words, but Hemlock sounded far off and conflicted.

The orange haired girl stood in the doorway for a moment, puzzled, but put down the plate of food on the dresser. She approached her and eventually stopped at her side, crouching down and putting an arm around her. "What's wrong?" She asked in a soft voice.

Hemlock instinctively leaned into her arm for a moment, finding comfort in the warmth before jerking away from it and shaking herself. She rubbed her eyes and did everything to avoid meeting the blue ones. "I... I have to go."

Cecelia's eyebrows knitted together. "Go where? It's so early in the morning!"

"Leave... This place." She gestured to her room, and then to the suitcases. "I need to move away from everyone. I'm sorry, but I just need to get away before-"

Hemlock moved to stand up but Cecelia held her down in her seat, now bending to eye level to speak with her. Hemlock tried to avoid her gaze but Cecelia insisted on keeping it, eventually forcing Hemlock to comply. "Calm down, deep breath, and talk me through it. What happened? Why do you need to leave? Do-" Cecelia broke off, her face falling. "Do you want to break up?"

Hemlock took in a long breath, obeying the order, and waited until her heart stopped racing. "I don't want to." The poison enthusiast told her quietly, trying to keep eye contact. "But I do need to leave, and it would be best for you if you didn't follow me."

Cecelia looked like she was going to protest, but Hemlock stopped her, wishing to speak first. Cecelia, though conflicted, let her speak. "It happened last night." Hemlock explained, straightening her shirt.

"I was out with my half Brother, Phoenix. He created a new machine and wanted me to check it out." Hemlock's hand twitched and started to fiddle with a nearby needle on her table, twisting it around and doing tricks without so much as looking. Cecelia knew this to be something she only did when anxious.

Hemlock paused, now her eyes falling to the ground as she wishes she could back out of the story, but knew she had to go on. "It was a mind control device. Phoenix work months on it, and though it worked, I over used it and broke it."

Cecelia blinked. "So? Help him make a better one, that's no reason to run away!"

Hemlock shook her head. "You don't understand... We were using it on some fish and when I got a turn of using it... I wouldn't stop. I kept puppetting the fish and though Phoenix kept screaming at me to stop because I was over heating it, I didn't listen. I didn't care. I loved it."

Hemlock suddenly stabbed the empty needle into the desk. Her eyes were now wide and intense, but still didn't want to meet Cecelia's concerned ones. "I loved being in control. It wasn't that I did anything bad to them, they were all unharmed, but I just loved being in control. Being able to control all of their movements and actions, feeling all of that power!" Hemlock sighed, covering her face again, this time in shame. "I never felt so good in my life... I want that again."

Eventually, the yellow eyes met the blue ones. "That's why. I need to leave before I do something to you and everyone else. I'm going down a dark path," She stood up, making Cecelia back off a little. "And you shouldn't come with."

Hemlock began to pack up the rest of her stuff while Cecelia just thought about what she heard. In the end, she made her choice. "I'm coming with you."

Hemlock froze, then sighed, putting away the vile of poison she was holding before turning to meet Cecelia's gaze. Hemlock figured she would do this. "Did you hear what I said? I'm planning on going down a dark path, one where I'll attempt to usurp the crown just to feel in control. You're not coming with."

"But I want to!" Cecelia argued, blocking Hemlock's path as she attempt to go for her other suitcases. "You're everything to me and I'm not letting you do this alone!"

Hemlock looked into her eyes, searching for some kind of weakness or hesitation that she could use so Cecelia would obey and stay back, but didn't find it. All she found was burning determination and unwavering loyalty. Both the thing she loved most, and was most frustrated by, in her.

The green and purple haired girl sighed, crossing her arms as they locked eyes. "Cecelia, I really need you to understand: If we do this and lose, there will be a serious punishment, and if we win, we can never go home and back to the things they were."

Cecelia stared at her for a long time, frowning. It took her a long while to speak, but she did in the end.

"Why would I want to go home if you're not there?"

Hemlock was shocked, then recovered and found herself smiling a little. Maybe there was no changing her mind, but Hemlock was happier than she thought she would be. She didn't have to do this alone.

Moving forward, Hemlock wrapped her arms around Cecelia and pressed her lips against hers. After a moment, they broke away, and just grinned at one another.

"Fine." Hemlock sighed but held her joy in her lips. "We'll go down together. Are you ready to leave this life behind?"

Cecelia nodded firmly. "It's not a life I want if you aren't there."

***********************
That last scene was inspired by a quote in Steven Universe: Rose's Scabbard where instead of Rose and Pearl, it was Hemlock and Cecelia. The quote in the show was similar but not exact to how I used it. Dang, I love these characters!

Hemlock didn't start out bad, and she certainly didn't want to be. She felt so overwhelmed and evil for wanting to do evil things, and wanting more than anything to be in control of everything, and just went down that path. She really tried to push Cecelia away, but eventually, let her come with. She didn't want to be alone, but she felt as though she had to be.

If you guys have any other prompts on what or who to write about for Next Gen, please tell me!

Anyways, I hope you guys liked this! It was a lot of fun to write/draw! Be sure to comment what you thought, and goodbye and more importantly, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
