1. How did you find out about Hamilton?

I had known about the show for a while, but last Summer, one of my camp friends who loved Broadway started singing it, and I was intrigued. When I got home, I turned on Spotify and began playing it while my mom and I were making sandwiches. "Alexander Hamilton" started. I just sat there in rapt attention, in awe of this new style of music. Rapping and Hip-hop combined with founding fathers? On Broadway?! It was by far the best thing I had ever heard in my entire life. The rest of the day was spent sporadically loitering near the kitchen counter where it was playing to try to hear more, and then getting forcefully dragged away when it was lunchtime. I remember it like it was yesterday.

2. Favorite character

Alex is my favorite character, mostly because I aspire to be like him. He has an amazing work ethic while I am currently avoiding homework by playing around on Wattpad.

3. Character I would want to play

I actually really want to be able to play Aaron Burr, but I can't sing that low, especially in "My Shot". I kind of want to be John Laurens/Philip Hamilton because John and Philip are amazing cinnamon rolls (happy birthday, Philip!), and I like doing dramatic death scenes. Also I would be overly flirtatious to Alex if I were John...

4. Favorite song to hear

This is probably "Non-Stop", mainly because I can't exactly sing all the bits together at the end. Otherwise, I'm singing at the top of my lungs.

5. Favorite song to sing

Definitely "What'd I Miss"; I love the jazzy feel to it, and Deveed's accent is really fun to imitate. Also, my brother and I are singing "Dear Theodosia" while I play the piano at our school's talent show!

6. Part on which I always make a mistake

"Fools who run their mouths off wind up dead": I can never hit "dead", so I just make this weird, guttural noise and try to play it off as a sneeze.

7. Can you rap "Guns and Ships"?

When I first heard "Guns and Ships", I took it as a personal challenge to memorize and learn how to rap it, but I still struggle with "I mean you gotta put some thought into the letter".

8. Which cast member would you most like to meet?

LIN! Definitely!

9. Have you seen the show?

Yes, and it made my year. IT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER AND I WAS SINGING ALONG THE WHOLE TIME.

10. Have you read the book?

I am in the process of reading the biography (Ron Chernow is a freaking genius), and I have already read the Hamiltome (Lin is an even better freaking genius). Both books are displayed in a shrine-like assembly on my bookshelf.

11. Favorite line
