Later that night, Miranda had already eaten dinner and was in the library reading one of the most fictional and non-fictional books she collected. She loved to read and it helped to get all the stress away. One of her most favorite story was 'The Wishful Genie'.

Story:

There once lived a man who was poor and could not afford anything that could help him through his long life that was now starting to grow more less than any poor villager could ever be. So one day, he was walking down in the village spotting something glowing in one of the markets as he saw it was a shiny lamp. Many believe that there is a genie that will grant you 3 wishes. He decided to take a closer look and was stopped by the owner who glared at the poor man with dangerous eyes. 

He said,"Do you have any money?"

The poor man replied," N-No sir. I was just looking-"

"Run along you little varmint!" The owner shooed the man as he walked away before thinking of some way to get the lamp from the market.

He asked one of his friends buddies if he could borrow his monkey to steal something very important. He promise that he will serve them with delicious food if there were stolen as well to be brought back to them. They gave him the monkey name Uub who grinned sinister as the poor man whispered into his ear to tell him to grab the lamp and bring it back to him. The monkey obeyed his order and quickly sneaked to the market stand and grab the lamp to bring it back to him. As for the deal, the poor man gave the food to his friends and his buddy for thanking them to get his wish. 

On the very night, the poor man began to think of all the wishes he could grant from the genie. So as he rubbed the lamp it began to-

*Ripped pages*

"Oh dear, seems like the pages have been ripped out from someone years ago. I still can't remember how the story ended though." Miranda thought as she shook it off and closed the book placing it back in the bookshelf to head back to bed.
