Tonight was Friday night of the royal ball and Miranda was getting ready for tonight's special event. As she came out to wear her dress that Gotenks have wished for her to wear she was sitting at her dresser as she brushed her hair. Gotenks was now standing beside her dresser watching her as she brushed through her red tangles.

"This night sure may be magical." Miranda said.

"Define magical? I mean, being a princess and all must be great to...uh.."

"Uh, what are you saying?" Miranda asked as the awkwardness spread between the two as Gotenks blushed.

"Oh! Silly me I was only bluffing or just saying something randomly. Forget about it." He brushed it off as Miranda giggled.

"Oh Gotenks, how do I look?" Miranda asked.

"You look beautiful. Go enjoy your night." He said as Miranda waved and left the room. Gotenks sighed as he thought about what he should do before Brandon takes away someone he truly felt a love connection to her. 

Miranda Pov

I walked downstairs as everyone down in the ballroom were laughing and chattering together. I was smiling as I walked down the stairs gracefully that people started to greet me and I gave them a friendly wave. I then saw Brandon who gave me a glance as I walked over to him.

"Hello Brandon. How're you tonight?" I asked.

"I'm quite good. You?"

"Same." 

"Great. Miranda, I want you to meet my lover Rebecca." He spoke up as my eyes widen when I noticed he was with another girl. Raven hair, purple eyes, and her dress was black showing her skin as I smiled.

"O-Oh, how nice to see that you've got yourself a date." I said trying hold back tears.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Y-Yes. Excuse me." I said leaving him and Rebecca alone as I hurried pass other people when a hand grabbed onto mine.

"Get your-" I gasped to see Gotenks wearing a well-dressed tuxedo.

"Gotenks? What're you doing here?" I asked.

"I decided to come join the fun with you and this royal gathering. I saw what happened and a princess shouldn't feel left out without a dance partner." He said as I stared at him surprised as he dragged me into the dance floor. 

Gotenks held my waist and hand as he twirled me and held me close. We danced around the middle as others stopped to see us dance together that my heart started to flutter. That feeling when he helped me dance it was the sensation of love. I leaned against him and rested my head on his chest as we dance slowly to the rhythm of the music.
