Nattie's POV

"Yes! She drank it! Now I can take her to John." I said as I dragged this disgusting girl's body to my dungeon. I put her on a table and collected all the ingredients I needed for the reaping.
"Now, where did I put the poison...... Ah, there it is! Now where's the peppermint...." As I collected all the ingredients, I whistled 'Feeling Good' but the version be Muse.

But something made me feel uneasy, like I shouldn't be doing this. What was wrong with my body? I tried to ignore it at least until the end of the reaping when I heard sounds coming behind me.... How the hell did that girl wake up already? I thought I used my strongest faintent... I had to think fast before she fully wake up. I went and slapped the poor girl so hard she went back into unconsciousness. Why did I feel sorry?

A few minutes later, I made the special potion that was going to be used for the reaping. I texted John that it was done and he texted back that he was on his way. This was so exciting. I was basically jumping around in circles.

But as I looked behind me, I realised the troubled girl had gone. I was freaking out. What would John do if he found out the girl had escaped? How the hell did she escape? I swear I would have heard her tiny footsteps. Anyway, I had to stop these thoughts and quickly find that girl. I searched every inch of the room but I couldn't find a single spot that I could consider her escaping from. Until I looked up. There was a huge hole in the middle of the ceiling. It wasn't there when I first came, and I was sure of the that. This girl is way different to all the others I had to deal with I thought to myself. For one, she's actually smart enough to pass The Canyon........

HA IN YO FACES!!!!! I left you with another cliffhanger and a short chapter. Sorry about that though, it's only because I'm also working on another book that's currently a draft that will be published once I've written 5 chapters. It's going to be called What's So Wrong About Being Friendly?
