       MONSTERS AND DEMONS ARE THE THINGS WE FEAR AT NIGHT, but sometimes the worst monsters live inside our minds. Our worst fears, are ourselves.

       Fear is programmed into the hard drive of our brains; software corrupted with an ineradicable virus. Making us paranoid, terrified to even open our eyes for fear of what we'll see in the mirror. We run from the monsters we can see, but no one ever tells you how to battle the monster within your very soul. That's the thing about humanity, we end up being our own worst enemy.

       That is because as long as you look physically fine, there is nothing wrong with you, no unspoken illness, no issues, you're just crazy. Because otherwise they'd have to admit it, that humanity is and always has been doomed; we are flawed. Rotting away, decaying, dying, we are the bringers of our own chaos and destruction.

       The real question is, would you press the button?

       Elizabeth had always felt like an outsider, her mind playing tricks on her since she was twelve years old. It's strange how the world simply continues as if nothing has happened when someone or someones leaves you. And not because they had a choice.

       So instead of fighting the invisible force inside her brain, keeping her back against a wall, curled up out of terror, she chooses to fight the things that go bump in the night. Because apparently, the monsters hiding in the shadows and under your bed, are real. And they won't stop until you're dead, so neither must she. If she can.

       She would battle creatures from the very depths of Hell if that's what it meant, fight the demons roaming the Earth instead of the ones corrupting her mind. BUT SOMETIMES THE MONSTERS HIDDEN BEHIND OUR EYES ARE STRONGER, AND THEY WIN.

Don't even ask me how many times I've published and unpublished this book, but we're back again! And this time I have nearly all the chapter titles planned for all three volumes and a spreadsheet to keep my update, or at least writing schedule, planned. Yes I put Dean as straight in this book, don't worry it won't last, as soon as he meets Cas ya know, because I have a plan with the other books, you'll see 👀. I added norman just for mayve but he actually fits really well for the idea I have. BUT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ANYTHING READ THIS BOOK IN TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT!! I FORGOT THE MANUAL FONT SETTING IS GEORGIA (I HAD TO DELETE MY APP A FEW TIMES BECAUSE IT WASN'T WORKING), OH MY LORD I THOUGHT IT WAS THE UGLIEST THING I HAD EVER SEEN 😭.
