"Come on, Taehyungie!" Jimin whined "Don't be such a spoiled sport."
"There's no way in hell I'm wearing a matching suit with that bunny" Taehyung spoke angrily. He couldn't believe he was being roped into this again.
They had been shopping and preparing for the wedding for the whole week, getting through packing, the bookings, the appointment with the minister. Considering it was spring break and a weekend, the only available slot was 2:30am on Sunday morning.
They took what they could get.
Everything was set. All they had to do was buy rings and board the plane to Vegas tomorrow morning. And then suddenly Jimin had decided that he and Yoongi would buy the rings themselves but wanted to buy both the best men suits together instead.
Tae made a face. He couldn't understand, for the love of all that was holy as to why he had to be matched with Jungkook. Just because the grooms had decided to wear matching tuxes didn't mean the best men have to do the same, did it?
Wasn't the fact that he had sportingly put up with him all week, had been cordial and respectful, kept his opinions to himself and held back the slurs he wanted to throw at him, count for anything at all?
The whole time, Jungkook hadn't given up on his stupid game. His pick up lines were getting cheesier and cheesier. So much, that Tae felt like he was drowning in an ocean of cheese.
"Please Tae! It's my wedding" Jimin pouted. "I'm not planning on having a lot of those, you know. This is it for me. Yoongi is the one."
"How do you know?" Tae asked.
"That he's the one? I just know." Jimin smiled mysteriously. "I have never felt more sure of anything in my life. I love him." He said simply as if that explained everything.
Taehyung felt a slight twinge of jealousy in his heart. Jimin had been the only one to love him for the longest time in his life. He couldn't help but feel like he was losing him.
"But you barely even know him! How can you be sure? I don't understand." Taehyung insisted.
"You've never been in love Tae Tae. It's not your fault. When you are in love, you will know." Jimin answered kindly.
"Can I ask you something stupid, Jiminie?" Tae asked quietly, peaking at Jimin through lowered lashes.
"Of course. Anything!" Jimin piped up.
"Did you never... you know... since you like boys.... Did you ever...." Tae hesitated.
Jimin looked at him expectantly.
"Did you ever.... Think of me.... you know.... like that?" He asked timidly.
Jimin chuckled softly as he looked into his eyes. "I did. Once, a very long time ago."
When Tae stared at him with wide eyes, he smiled.
"Don't worry. It was a long time ago and I got over it." Jimin said softly.
"Why didn't you say something at the time?"
"So you could break my heart? No thanks!" Jimin chuckled again, turning away from him but Taehyung caught his arm.
"I wouldn't have done that, Jiminie. I would never intentionally hurt you. Don't you know that? You are all I have left." He said sincerely, his eyes shining, silently begging Jimin to understand.
"Tae" Jimin sighed. He understood where this was coming from, much better than his dear friend could explain.
He moved close to Taehyung and hugged him. Tae wrapped his hands around Jimin and held him tightly. "I love you too, silly bean. That will never change. We will always be best friends forever." Jimin assured him.
Tae sniffled. "I don't want to lose you, Jimin."
"So you would turn gay for me?" Jimin laughed, his entire body shaking in Taehyung's arms.
"Anyone would turn gay for you. You're hot as fuck." Taehyung teased.
"Hey now, if my fiancé hears you, he'd kill you and I just can't deal with planning a funeral right now." Jimin laughed, pulling away.
"Fiancé!" Taehyung said in mock horror.
"I know right! I still can't believe it. I feel like I'm dreaming." Jimin said dreamily as he turned to leave. "Try that suit on and come out."
Taehyung looked at the offending suit. He could hear the giggles outside. Jungkook had probably already tried his on.
Tae reluctantly tried his on and made his way out to the lounge. Jungkook was standing with his back to him, giggling at something. He was always giggling or laughing or teasing and though Taehyung pretended to hate it, deep down he knew he was slowly getting addicted to the happy little sounds the bunny made.
He turned around when he sensed his presence behind him and sucked in a sharp breath.
"What no snarky remark?" Tae laughed.
Jungkook stared at him in awe. He watched his eyes disappear into soft crescents as a deep, husky laughter shook him. His boxy smile was gorgeous as always, so was the wavy black hair that fell into his eyes.
But the suit.
Oh man, the suit.
It highlighted his broad shoulders and tapered down on his hips. He looked sophisticated and downright sexy at the same time.
"You can stop drooling now, Jeon. You look nice too." Taehyung commented dryly as he continued to chuckle at the utterly flabbergasted look on Jungkook's face.
Jungkook swallowed "You know what you'd look really good in?"
Taehyung genuinely thought he was talking about another suit so he looked at him with interest.
"My arms"
Taehyung sputtered. Turning his smile into a cough and covering his face with his fist.
"You guys" Jimin called in a wobbly voice that had them both whipping around to look at him.
"Not only do both of you look disturbingly handsome, you're also getting along. I can't believe this! I love you both so much" he ran ahead to hug them both.
Taehyung scrunched his nose in disgust at being pulled into a group hug with Jungkook but he didn't want to disappoint Jimin so he stood stiffly until he was let go of.
"Are we buying these suits then?" Yoongi asked lazily.
"Come here and join us, old man" Jungkook called.
"Oh no. Not happening" Yoongi backed away. Jungkook quickly caught hold of him and pulled him in.
"Hey! No fair using your brute strength against us normal beings" Yoongi complained but let Jimin and Jungkook slip their arms around him from both sides as he joined the group hug.
"Ugh. I hate this." He whined and Jimin smacked his ass lovingly.
Jungkook squeezed them until they were all groaning in pain and then let go.
"Are we finalising these suits?" Yoongi asked again, massaging his neck.
"Definitely" Jimin answered.
Jungkook and Taehyung turned away to head back to the changing rooms on opposite sides.
"Wait!" Jimin called making them both freeze in their tracks. "Let me take a picture" he said walking backwards, phone in hand.
Jungkook and Tae looked into the camera.
"Hana dul set!"
