It's been a while since we last talked, and that shatters me. The obstacles never seem to end, making me feel alone and vulnerable. You have left me alone in a world clouded with darkness, without the blanket that holds your warmth. Or, the memory of it.

You had been distant for a while, refusing to touch me in any way. I should have thought about it sooner, but I was too in love to even care about the red flags I was receiving. Somehow, there was a little thought that circled marriage. My brain deprived me of the common sense I needed to most, leaving me clueless to the events unfolding in front of me. There you were, sitting in front of that restaurant, staring lovingly at her. I recognized her instantly, Chaeyoung. Her beauty could be seen from far away, her smile radiating happiness.

They seemed so peaceful and happy. My best friend and my boyfriend, kissing, both smiling into it. I could also feel my lips turning into a smile, and the tears staining my cheeks. I understood everything, it all made sense. How they always gushed about each other in front of me, they were touchy, and the smiles. Their happiness before mine, I wasn't going to interrupt their loving moment, so I just let the tears reach the pavement, looking as they dissolved into nothingness, just like my heart. Amazing how it all clicked, a puzzle piece had just been found, but not yet completing the maze, there were a couple more unknown pieces.

I turned back to the couple, seeing how they were staring back at me. I could see the worry dripping from Namjoon's eyes and the tears brimming in Chaeyoung's beautiful orbs. Taking my phone out, I sent a message to my ex-boyfriend, telling him to take his things out from the apartment. I made sure to add the pain, but how happy I was for both of them. How it was unbelievable they would betray me like this, but that didn't stop me from feeling the excitement as they found each other.

The streets of Seoul were illuminated with an amber glow that came from the sun, making them look more enchanting than ever. The lights were getting turned on, bringing the famous city to life. I was blind, the tears bordering my eyes, some falling. My face was down, but I knew exactly where I was going, strangely. I could feel as some people worriedly stared at me, their eyes holding concern, all falling on me. I could feel the bright sign that read: 'Hoseok's bar.'

A friend of mine that will undoubtedly help me, no questions asked. I walked in, greeting the staff that already knew me as I had worked here before. I got into one of the empty seats at the well-decorated place, my eyes scanning over the different types of liquor and fancy cups before looking for a certain male. They landed on him, and I motioned him to come over. The smile that adorned his face-one that resembled a heart- slowly faded from his face as he saw the tears still threatening to spill from his friend's face.

(A/N: somehow i changed the pov, apologies but i noticed too late.)

"Oh, what happened, Kookie?" The nickname brought back unwanted memories, of Namjoon mostly, he got the flashbacks of when they were genuinely happy with one another. Times when he didn't have to sleep alone and cold. The man snapped out of his trance when Hoseok started shaking his hand in front of his face. "Seriously, what's wrong? You're scaring me."

"Hobi, we broke up. Remember Chaeyoung? I saw them kissing and having a lovely date together at that one restaurant we always used to go to before Jimin and Yoongi moved." The look of pure astonishment that planted itself on the redhead's beautiful face would have been hilarious, if under other circumstances. A frown slowly etched its way in his features, signalling his confusion and anger. "Now, please give me some vodka. I need to forget this shit for a little bit. If I get out of hand, please call me a cab and send me home, I'll pay you back for everything, yeah?" He received a nod from his best friend.

And that's what happened for approximately three hours, his body had become numb from both the alcohol and being seated too long. He could feel the alcohol running through his veins, giving him what he wanted: a way to forget. He knew this wasn't wise, to get himself drunk and probably make a stupid decision, but he needed a break from his reality. Jungkook was a healthy guy, he rarely ever drank. He had the most amazing qualities that anyone could ask for, his looks were just a bonus. Nobody would have thought that Namjoon would have cheated on the youngest, and with his best friend. It was just too unbelievable, yet so credible. Everyone has noticed how the older was distancing himself a lot from his friends in general.

They were a group of five, all happy and some in love. A couple, and a throuple, plus a single and hardworking man. Something that nobody knows yet happened to the group of three males that were so in love with each other, Jimin, Yoongi, and Hoseok. One day, they left a note saying they had moved somewhere to be together, but they left a boyfriend behind. Hoseok was left broken, the desire to reunite with the people he loved was still present in his mind at times. From then on, he had decided to stay away from anything related to love, to focus on himself and loyal friends.

Jungkook continued to drink to the point everything around him was fuzzy, he didn't even know who he was. There was no way he would make it back home, he knew, but he ignored it. Getting up from his stool, he made his way to the dance floor, not knowing what his intentions were. Swaying his body to the music, he found a rhythm to go along with the song booming from the speakers. It was surely late as the deserted place was now packed with people, a lot of sweaty and stinky bodies messily dancing, or attempting to, along with the music. Everyone was becoming more excited as drinks were getting spilt all over, and everyone piled more against one another. There were already couples doing things that should be more private, and he just ignored them. He was never in that position, being a 19-year-old virgin himself, that could have been the reason his boyfriend left him: he always said he wasn't ready.

That's when everything landed on Jungkook like a pile of bricks. He always told himself he was waiting for the right person, so why didn't he do it with Namjoon? In his mind, he had convinced himself that they were each other's love. But maybe that was it, an illusion he had forced himself to believe. It made sense, he was hurt that he was betrayed but was also happy for the couple. Of course, he would never engage himself with them again, since the betrayal was now present and would remain there. Again, the feeling of satisfaction of when another piece of the puzzle is found and you are closer to finishing it. Maybe because he was the first person Jungkook fell in love with, and he had the mentality of wanting to get married to that same person, and have a family. It makes sense, it all clicks perfectly.

He realized that he had stopped in the middle of the dancefloor, but now it seemed more crowded. It was like the oxygen was getting cut short, and everyone was taking it, leaving him with no way of breathing. Suddenly, arms grabbed him and pulled away from the crowd. Jungkook tried to get away, flapping his arms violently, as the person only tightened his grip. And then he heard it: the most comforting and soothing voice he had ever heard in his life, shushing him. Pleads and favours getting asked to the wasted male who was starting to recognize his surroundings. That was one of the things Jungkook both loved and hated about himself, the alcohol always wore off quickly. In a time like this, he wished to numb the realization that had just startled him, that who he thought was the love of his life had cheated on him with his best friend and the fact that he hadn't cared much. Then again, that voice was soothing him, trying to alleviate the pain the teen was feeling.

"I promised to not do anything, but it seemed like you were having a mental breakdown, and a bit drunk. So, I thought it was best to take you out of there, and away from those men, they seemed to have bad intentions." Registering the words, Jungkook nodded and looked at his surroundings, he was no longer in a bar, he was in a room that he recognized as one of Hoseok's spare rooms in the bar. The younger had stayed here several times before when he was wasted and couldn't get home safely. Another nod was sent to the male in front of him, whose face he hadn't looked at yet, but he could feel the eyes looking at him. "Now that my job is done, I can leave if you want me to. Or I can call you a cab, or get you water, anything that helps."

"You've done more than enough, thank you for bringing me here I was having a hard time there." Finally looking at the man's face, he was astonished. Jungkook felt as his breath hitched in his throat as he took in all the details of the masterpiece in front of him. He couldn't believe such perfection was real, he almost reached out to touch his face to see if he was hallucinating. A sudden gasp left his mouth, which made him turn bright red, he looked down at the bed. "I must be taking your time, I apologize. You can go back if you want."

"Is it fine if I stay here for a little bit? I was dragged here by a friend, and I don't exactly like partying. Plus, you seem like a cool person." The unidentified male said, staring at Jungkook. He wasn't going to lie, he was the most beautiful person he had ever seen. He wasn't dragged here by a friend, he was just lonely and wanted to drink his thoughts away. And now, he had found someone that he was curious about, he wasn't letting the opportunity pass. So, he tried to continue talking to the mysterious guy with the charming face. "Shit, I'm dumb. My name is Kim Taehyung, and I'm 21. Nice to meet you..." He dragged on, wanting to know more about this guy. Then he heard it, one of the most beautiful sounds, a heavenly giggle.

"Jungkook, my name is Jeon Jungkook. I'm 19." Jungkook said after he stopped his giggling, looking again at the man. But quickly having to adverse his stare as he would become more stupefied about his etherealness. "I needed some company anyways, my boyfriend cheated on me today with my best friend. So life is not the best right now. I came to drink my life away and then had a whole fucking panic attack while trying to distract myself." As soon as he stopped rambling to himself, he looked back at the piece of art beside him whose eyes held confusion. Jungkook felt his eyes widen as he realized he had said it out loud, instantly clasping his hand over his lips, as if it would take back the words he said.

His eyes dropped down to the beautiful drawings on the silky blanket beneath him. His breathing got a little uneven as his mind clouded with incoherent thoughts. When he gained enough courage, he pulled his head up and stared at Taehyung, the man was staring right back at him, a look of deep disappointment in his eyes. But not because of the teen, because of the man that had cheated on him. How could someone that has the chance to spend his life with someone so gorgeous waste it like that? Certainly one of the most foolish things he had ever heard, like come on, what's the point in cheating? Don't have enough decency to break up with the person before betraying them so harshly? Man up, fucker.

"Sorry, but I've never heard of someone so stupid. I mean, who would even think of hurting you? We've known each other for around thirty minutes and I already wanna know more about you. I'm not gonna make a move because I assume you're heartbroken and probably want a break from everything that has to do with love. I understand that, but just know that I've never seen someone as breathtaking as you." Taehyung spilt out, not holding himself back as he tried to make the beauty in front of him feel better. He was probably being too straightforward, but his heart desired to make itself known. In this little time, his curiosity for the teen had only grown. "I apologize if I'm making myself sound too straightforward, Jungkook. But I would prefer you to know that you are worth so much more and don't deserve to be hurt like this."

As his name rolled off the elder's tongue, the younger felt his heart do a backflip in his heart. He shouldn't be feeling like this, his boyfriend had just cheated on him and he was already feeling like this with this man he has never seen before? It was extremely wrong, but he couldn't help it. His heart was trying to take over his senses, to let itself be known. But at the same time, it knew something was wrong, it was supposed to be broken: yet this man was healing the pain he felt. Once again, he felt his vision get blurry with crystal tears, not wanting to believe that it was all an illusion. He didn't want to accept that all the years he spent with Namjoon were some daydream, and it was going to end like this.

Seeing the tears gathering in the beautiful doe eyes that were still trained on the bed he was laying on. Then they started falling, one after the other, as if on a race. Jungkook felt ashamed, so embarrassed with himself that he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him, someone to come in the room and end his misery, but nothing came. Quieting himself down, he looked up at the 21-year-old seeing as his gaze never faltered on him. They held eye contact, and everything around them froze. It was like the music that was barely heard was now gone, the little sounds had muted themselves, it was just them in a wicked world. They both felt something within them, something snapping and connecting itself with something else. Suddenly, they both started leaning in, their gazes never wavering. Until a knock was heard in the room, and Hoseok walked in. The eye contact was broken quickly, but not fast enough that Hoseok wasn't able to see what was happening. He looked at his two friends that now were staring at their hands.

"Jungkookie, just wanted to say that Namjoon came looking for you, he's down at the bar. He wants to talk to you about what happened, but I see that you're enjoying this more. I'm beyond pissed for what he did, and I need to know what you want to do, or else he's getting quicked out." Hoseok said, his eyes clearly showing the anger he was feeling, but the smirk was present on his handsome face. He could kind of relate to the younger, the betrayal, considering that his boyfriends abandoned him like he was nothing. Yet he still longed for their touch and love, at times. He missed them like hell, and he wonders what the did wrong sometimes. "And I see you're "

"Let me talk with the fucker, I'll show him what fucking respect is." A deep voice said, Taehyung getting up and ready to talk with the man that had hurt the precious teenager. Think whatever you want, that it might be too soon to like him, but it was what he left. It was an undeniable attraction that even Hoseok had felt when he walked in the room. "Hoseok, only stop me if I get out of hand."

"Tae, you think I'm not gonna talk to the dude either? He has a lot of explaining to do. I made him swear to protect Jungkook and never hurt him, and he broke that promise." Hoseok said, getting a bit madder by the second. Jungkook was more like a little brother, and nobody hurt his family. "Jungkook, stop me if we get out of hand." To which the eldest received a nod.

Both angered males walked out of the room, their emotions radiating off of them. Everyone made a path for the males, some people stopping and watch what was about to unfold. Their glares could be seen by a blind man as they walked towards a booth in the back, Jungkook following closely behind, scared to be crowded again with the obscene amount of people in the bar. Without thinking he stepped in front of the males and muttered that he was going to talk to him and that they could do it after, when they had calmed down. As he looked into Taehyung's face, he was sparked with a sense of arousal and protectiveness. He sent a quick nod to the males before walking away.

He unknowingly walked to a booth in the back, hiding to the world. The place where he and Namjoon always sat when they were a happy couple that was deep in love with the other. Before everything fell apart. He saw someone sitting there, instantly recognized the hunched shoulders and the hands placed upon the clean table. He slowly walked to the other side and sat down, feeling another wave of sadness hit him. He scanned the bar to see Hoseok and Taehyung looking at him carefully, looking for any trace of uncomfortableness in the youngest. Sending yet another nod, to assure everything was fine, he looked in front of him.

He looked in front of him to the male he once trusted the most, now only feeling a confusion of anger and sadness. Namjoon was staring at the table, fiddling with his hands to show his nervousness. The older looked up, showing his teary faced that held regret. The younger only felt pity for him, until he saw the trace of lipstick on his lips. And that's when he snapped, his hand quickly raised and came into contact with the elder's face. Jungkook's face twisted into one of utter anger.

"I never knew you would go that low, Namjoon. And with my best friend? How was the sex? The kisses? I don't doubt you went there, god." Jungkook spit, showing how he felt. Rage filled his veins when Namjoon tried to grab his hand and caress it, only making him pull it back. Holding himself from delivering another slap to the smooth skin.

"Look, I'm sorry. I never meant for this to happen, you weren't supposed to see anything. Give me one more chance and I'll prove that it was a mistake. Please, Kook." The nickname brought more rage to the male, the persuading not even reaching him. Namjoon only received a scoff as a response, along with an unamused and disappointed smile. Who did he think he was? Jungkook was certain that it wasn't the first time his ex-boyfriend had cheated on him. "I swear she was just a way to get pleasure. And that was it, I promise. Come back with me, let's go home and talk, yeah?"

"Look, no matter how broken I am, there is no way I will ever go back with you. If you loved me, you would have waited for me to give myself to you. But you didn't, you showed me that I mean nothing to you. And this is my fault as well, I should have known that all the touches and words meant something. Hope you have a nice life with her, and fuck you." Jungkook said as he got up from the booth, leaving behind the bad memories. Now, that was placed was clouded with darkness, the good memories had been overtaken with the negativity and they were now gone. "Oh, and I want everything out of the apartment by tomorrow."

With that, he walked away, not looking back. Of course, as soon as he saw Hoseok with parted arms, waiting for him, he broke down crying. He felt the comforting arms of his best friend getting wrapped around him, finding the love of a family he never had within him. His sobs were muffled with the fabric of his shirt, not letting the world know of his despair. After getting tuned out from the world for about ten minutes, he pulled away from the elder's embrace as his throat was burning from all the crying. As he was going to ask or a water bottle, one was placed in front of his face by Taehyung.

Thanking him, he told Hoseok he wanted to go back to the room. Jungkook even asked if the eldest of the three could stay with him, but was disappointed when the answer was no. He wasn't bothered since he knew Hoseok had to take care of his bar, he urged him to go back to work so his best friend wouldn't feel bad. Instead, Taehyung had stayed behind and made him feel better. They talked and got to know each other better, the younger got a weight off his chest as he explained what he felt about Namjoon. But after that, everything became even better, there was no longer the heavy weight in Jungkook's heart vanished and he was feeling more like himself. He let himself enjoy the time with his new friend, not sparing a thought to the sadness still layering his heart.

They laughed and conversed as if they had been friends forever. Momentarily forgetting the way they had met, and that it was tonight. It all felt so natural for both of them, the attraction only grows stronger the more they talked. As if it was the most normal thing in the world, they talk about their lives, future, family, interests. They exchanged phone numbers and addresses promising to visit each other from time to time, sleepovers. They both openly stated that they wanted to get to know the other better, but there was going to be a long time before they started meeting with that mentality. After all, the younger had just experienced his first taste of the cruel world, the reality of love, the feeling of disloyalty. First friends, and then maybe something more. It was like they lost their shyness after talking for a long time, weirdly feeling comfortable with each other way quicker than with anyone else.

It didn't exactly shock them, they had felt that weird fascination the moment they locked eyes for the first time. But honestly, everything came at its time. They decided that the younger needed time to heal from his break up even if it didn't affect him as much as normal. It just seemed right, to give it time before they manifested their liking for one another. Jungkook had decided to sleep over since he didn't want to go home and face Namjoon alone, he knew that the older might act on impulse and not listen to what the younger had to say. It had happened before. A period of time that brought shivers to Jungkook, nightmares. During that time, he was still infatuated with the dream of marrying his first love, without realizing that the feeling was slowly fading. He forced himself to forgive, but never forget.

That night, he patted the stop next to him on the bed and felt the mattress dip down as another body laid down. Jungkook and Taehyung cuddled each other, finding the warmth radiating from the other addicting, the comfort they found in the other. As they tangled together in a not so subtle way. Finding out who the big spoon was and who was the small one. How it was so innocent, no trace of bad intentions to be found. Nothing happened that night, just the hugs as they slept together, wishing that this wasn't just a dream.

-(1 month later)-

Taehyung and Jungkook had been seeing each other in a friendly manner, but they both understood that they liked each other deeply. The month had been torture as they both wanted to call each other mine, it had been aching since the second 'friendly' date they had, which consisted of them eating ice cream under the stars while camping. It was a random idea that created many good memories. It was a time when they talked even more, about more private things. For example, Taehyung explained how he had broken up with his boyfriend, Jin, a week before he had met Jungkook at the club. They had also been together for a long time, except Jin wanted to be with someone that had more money, unlike Taehyung. Hearing that, Jungkook was surprised, he had Taehyun and let him go? Damn, stupidity at its finest.

But they stuck to the plan and waited more time before starting to engage more romantically, at least they both knew they wanted the other in that sense. Hoseok helped them a lot with their relationship that wasn't exactly that, but it could be. He was always helping them with information that they didn't dare ask the other, noting that Hoseok was good friends with both males. He didn't want them to go through the same pain again, as he did. So, he did all he could to assure that they were good with each other.

Tonight, Taehyung had texted Jungkook to get ready and that he had an hour before the elder picked him up. Used to surprises like those, Jungkook got ready according to with the details he as given. A little fancy, but not too much. He was also told to bring a jacket since he would get cold. Even if they knew each other for a month, they knew each other like the back of their hands, knowing that the other liked and disliked, what made them happy and sad, what annoyed them, everything. And they made sure to use it to their advantage, taking care of each other as if they were already married, which was something they both looked forward to if everything went well between them. A feeling of security was always present when they were together.

Seeing that he had twenty minutes, Jungkook laid himself down on the couch and closed his eyes. He only wanted to rest them since he went to sleep late with an assignment. That's what he got for procrastinating, well-deserved torture. Without realizing it, he had fallen into a deep slumber, dreaming about things for the future. Suddenly he was awoken with a continuation of gentle taps on his shoulder and stomach, he opened his eyes slowly, thinking it was his mind deceiving him. He tried rolling over his stomach, pushing his face further into the pillow, groaning a couple of times. To that, he received a slap to his ass, softly. He knew that wasn't his mind, but he wasn't feeling too angelic at the moment, so he acted like he was sleeping.

The younger knew exactly who it was since nobody else had the key to his apartment. He heard a low chuckle, one that he had grown to adore during the past month, another series of slaps to his bottom, getting progressively harder as they came. Jungkook couldn't hold in his laughter anymore, this scenario was too romantic for people who were just friends. He started laughing loudly, Taehyung following after seeing the male's face. They both sat up on the couch and hugged, one of their favourite things to do. A kiss was placed on the elder's cheek, making them dust with light pink. This was a routine that they had grown accustomed to, and they both loved it.

"Hey, sweetheart. How was the nap? I can't believe you made me wake you up like that, not that I'm complaining, of course." Taehyung said, a smirk decorating his beautiful face, the words just rolled off his tongue normally. The elder found out the younger liked pet names, so he frequently started using them on him, unless he was upset, which didn't happen often. "So, wanna go?"

"Yup, let me just grab some things. I didn't think I would fall asleep so deeply, I thought it was gonna be a quick nap." The teenager said, rubbing his eyes to which the elder cooed. "And you could have just let me sleep, you know? Or wake me up another way. Not that I'm complaining, of course." Jungkook mocked, a smirk also meeting his face.

"If we're both not complaining then I say it's good, no? Come on, we're gonna be late, baby." The elder said, instantly shutting Jungkook up, he lived for the pet names he got from the elder. It was something he always melted to and made him feel internally happy. He got a nod as a response which made him coo once again, the younger was too cute for his good.

That night, a whole new chapter in their book started. They shared their first kiss under the shining stars and the moon that blessed them with her glow. Everything was so perfect, there was nothing they would change about the memorable night. Once again, in the snap of fingers, they found themselves under warm blankets, getting more and more addicted to each other. It became something that they would like to do for the rest of their lives.

-(1 month later)-

Today was the day that Taehyung was gonna ask Jungkook to be his boyfriend. They had been knowing each other for two months, and he felt like he would explode if he couldn't call the younger his. He wanted to show his love with the official title, they had pecked each other's lips around three times over a month. They had been craving more of each other's love. To openly be able to act like a couple to the rest of the world, they had been exclusively talking, and it was known to the people around them, yet some were still disrespectful and hit on the guys in front of the other. When that happened, the other would get extremely possessive. Taehyung would wrap an arm around the younger's waist and lean over him a little, making sure they knew to back off. Meanwhile, Jungkook was less intimidating, but he glared at whoever it was and pulled Taehyung towards him.

Every little intimate touch had been done inside the comfort of their homes. And they were more than okay with that, they didn't want to say they weren't together but still kissed at times. It was something that people wouldn't understand, so therefore they would judge. But now, they wanted to be officially together, and show off their love. The plan was simple, Taehyung was supposed to come over for a movie marathon and he would ask him there, while they cuddled in the younger's bed. It was still one of their favourite things to do, that wouldn't change. Of course, the male's usual confidence had faltered dramatically, nerved getting into his system, making him sweat. He knew there was a high chance Junkook would say yes, but that didn't make him feel any better since the percentage he would say no was still there. Taehyung was scared of rejection, and he couldn't afford to lose someone so precious to him.

He knew he loved the younger, that was something he would never try of denying, cause that would mean lying to himself and he didn't like that. Like every other time, Taehyung would sleepover at the younger's apartment, but that time there could have been two outcomes: he would be sleeping with his boyfriend for the first time, or he would have to go back home with a broken heart. He was terrified, he had never been this nervous, even when he confessed to Jin, everything was amplified.

He had been parked outside the younger's apartment building for around ten minutes, not having the courage to go inside and face a fate that might hurt his heart. He almost jumped when he felt his phone start to ring, a familiar name coming into view. He answered quickly, putting him on speaker.

"How long until you get here? I wanna see you."

"Well, guess you're lucky cause I'm outside. Give me a second, baby."

With that, they exchanged their farewells and hung up. Gathering his strength and calmness, Taehyung got out the car, his feet picking up their face as he was walking too slow and knew Jungkook would question him if he took too long. And before he knew it, he was in front of the familiar door which opened widely before he even got the chance of knocking. He was met with the face of an angel. Taehyung felt his breath getting strangled, his words swallowed down along with his dignity. The male in front of him was wearing his oversized hoodie, the one that went down to his knees, drowning him. He felt everything around him get blurry, but the younger just got brighter.

"So, it looks pretty good on me, right?" Jungkook said, smiling softly at the entranced male in front of him that was staring at him with so much love. It was too unbelievable. "If you don't like me wearing your clothes, I can just take it off and give it back to you."

"I can't hold myself back, can I kiss you?" The elder said while shaking his head frantically, there was no way he was going to take it off. As soon as he received the confirmation, he leaned in and kissed the younger. It was a quick peck, but it brought him unimaginable feelings to his chest. It was like everything made sense, he was his remedy, his light, his path. When he pulled away, he heard Jungkook whine in front of him. "Aw, baby. Did you not wanna end it yet?"

He rolled his eyes and grabbed Taehyung's nape, pulling him back and made their lips softly meet again. They both hummed against the kiss, which started turning more intense, so they both thought it was a good idea to stop it there to not make the younger feel pressured and to make sure Taehyung didn't have an issue later for the night, like the ones they've both encountered in the mornings. But of course, Jungkook had them too.

Taehyung walked into the kitchen and started looking for the popcorn to make for the movies, finding it quickly and put it in the microwave. The younger was already on the bed, waiting for the other male rather impatiently. He hadn't been feeling the best and longed for the comfort the elder gave him. Ungkook had realized something yesterday, he was undoubtedly in love with Taehyung, and it was amazing to realize that, wondering if the other male felt the same way.

Before having enough time to fall into the ocean of thoughts and doubts, the piece of art walked into the room. He looked so ethereal, just standing there, not knowing that the other believed the same thing about him. Mirrored thoughts and fascination over the other. This brought back memories, of when they first met and held eye contact for a long time, bathing in each other's beautiful eyes. Simultaneously, they both broke the contact as Taehyung started to make his way to the bed, his spot untouched and the look in Jungkook's face inviting.

Without uttering another word, or looking at each other, Taehyung sat down next to Jungkook, placing the popcorn between them. As if the most normal thing in the world, Jungkook moved the popcorn and wrapped his arms around the elder's torso, the other's hands moving to his lower waist. An unamused smile plastered itself on Taehyung's face, knowing that the younger would do that, but enjoying to see it. They both got comfortable in the other's arms, but for in a second, Jungkook removed his arms from the elder and grabbed the arm's only to place them right on his bottom. He then wrapped his limbs around Taehyung, making sure to tangle their legs together. That itself made the elder's heart starting beating frantically, not knowing how to react with the sly action.

He looked down at Jungkook, who was no longer at the screen but was focused elsewhere, he was concentrating in the beating of the male beside him. The teenager wore a smile full of satisfaction, knowing he was the reason his heart was pounding so fast. But as soon as the smile came, it faded when he felt something in the elder's lower region. He looked up but was met with a nervous, red-faced Taehyung that refused to look back at him. Again, he smirked and ignored it, not wanting to embarrass the other further, in fear he would starting becoming awkward and would attempt to leave. Now, that would ruin everything.

Taehyung excused himself when the movie, everything was going normally, besides the boner that Jungkook knew he had caused. It wasn't the first time they had done that to each other, and they would have to take a break and calm their hormones. They just thought of women. And that's what Taehyung had wandered off to do, fix himself because it was starting to become uncomfortable and he was afraid he would do something weird. It was a matter of five minutes, he didn't do anything, just thought of unappealing things. Again, he secretly cooed when he walked in the room, seeing Jungkook hugging his pillow tightly, his heart melted at the thought of the younger waiting for him like that every day for the rest of their lives.

"Come on, sucker. Don't just stand there, come here and cuddle me. I'll forgive the boner, come on!" He whined, aggressively punching the spot next to him, only to whine again when Taehyung didn't move from his spot. He was admiring the young teen, seeing how mad he got when he wasn't receiving cuddles from the elder, amused, he simply stood still and didn't make a move to reach the younger. "I said I forgave you for the bone-"

"You can't forgive me for something you caused, who told you to make me touch your ass was a good idea? It was meant to happen, it was uncomfortable for the rest of the movie and I was trying to stay still to prevent things but you decided to keep thrashing around. So, darling, I believe this was your fault." Jungkook was cut short, and Taehyung watched his face transition slowly. First, he puckered his lips, then pouted and finally a blush covered his face. "But, we can forget it like the other times, because it's not only happened to me. Taehyung added with a smirk, making Jungkook gain back his composture and his pettiness to return.

As he made his way to the bed, Taehyung realized that his chance to ask the other male out was gone, for the night. He would have to gather courage and ask him another time. Of course, the disappointment tried to cloud his senses, but it vanished as he heard the little sigh Jungkook released as the elder wrapped his arms around him. He was amazed by the impact they both had on the other, and they knew it. Normal people would be awkward by now, knowing they both liked each other and it could change rapidly. But, they just felt closer to the other, like they could rely on them more since the feelings of caring for that person and loving them was there. In their minds, they had both stopped paying attention to the movie as their minds wandered off to the same place, but they faced in opposite directions. Falling asleep in each other's embrace, kissing each other a few times before falling into the tempting, deep slumber.

-(2 months later)-

Taehyung was lying in his bed when he felt a sudden rush of confidence fill him, he sat up quickly and grabbed his phone, calling the person he knew was probably binge-watching an old k-drama. That was one of the things he loved about the younger, he was always so calm and cuddly. The elder barely ever paid attention to the movie when he came over, he focused on the warm and beautiful body next to him, wondering what good deeds he had done to be blessed with that man. Everything had been going smoothly with the men, none of them had asked each other out in fear of rejection, even though they knew it was impossible.

But now, a new landscape came into view, Taehyung knew the time was now, so he clicked the contact and waited for two rings before a sweet voice came from the other end.

"I didn't expect a call today, hm, I'm flattered." He giggled briefly at his joke, making Taehyung release a chuckle along with him. "So, baby, what's up?"

"Baby? Wow, we're getting bold up in here, but I love it." The elder said, already used to the younger calling him names but enjoying teasing him about it at the same time. Jungkook called it one of his many talents and threatened to stop calling him those sweet pet names. "Oh, nothing, just wanted to see how the most perfect human alive was doing, and if I could come over."

"Yes, yes, yes! I felt so alone and sad, I could use my favourite person in the world cheering me up, no? How long until you get here? I have to get ready." The elder shook his head, even though the younger couldn't see it. "Helloooooo? I need to know when you're coming so I can change."

"Wanna know a secret? I'm walking in right now." The elder said as he walked in the apartment, looking up at the couch to watch Jungkook quickly cover himself with a blanket.

Frowning, Taehyung walked over to the couth with a worried stare, they were never worried in front of the other. Well, they haven't gotten past seeing Jungkook in his usual shorts and each other's stomach. It was weird that Jungkook was covering himself in front of the elder, they've never been like that. Taehyung wanted the younger to always feel comfortable around him.

"You never do this, what's wrong?" Taehyung asked carefully as if the words would hurt the gorgeous male in front of him. The other looked down, Taehyung raised his hand to the other's chin, making them face each other, their eyes locking and sending butterflies flying inside of them.

"Nothing..." He trailed off, trying to make Taehyung forget anything happened by hugging him tightly and fakely giggling in his ear. But Taehyung simply stayed limp, not liking the dishonesty he was receiving from the person he cared for the most. It hurt knowing that someone he trusted with his life didn't confide in him as much in return. His eyes cast down, his confidence slowly fading until he heard Jungkook speak. "I just haven't gone to the gym in a while, meaning since I broke up with Namjoon. He used to always remind me to go since I didn't lose my perfect figure, but I never exactly enjoyed too. I've started gaining weight again and I don't want you to feel grossed out by me. That's all."

Now it was the younger's turn to look down at his colourful blanket, the patters in them making him feel better. He could feel his love's stare on him, so intense and raw it was making him feel bad for saying something like that. He knew the elder loved him, all the time.

"So here's what we're gonna do. You will take those words back because you know I could never feel disgusted by you. Remember that I'm the one that always is feeding you cause I like how happy you get when trying something new. Remember that I love you over everything, so much. You know that you mean the galaxy to me, my most precious bean. My baby and I are so entranced with you that I want you to be mine once and for all. If that's what you want to, of course. You are the most gorgeous person I have ever seen, and such a beautiful soul to go along with it. I love every single part of you, inside and out. There is not a single thing I wouldn't do for you. God, I want to marry you but we aren't even dating and it has to be step by step for it to work." Taehyung confessed, rambling on about how much he loved the male and everything that had been on his mind since he landed his eyes on the male. He could feel his shirt getting wet with tears coming from the male that was secured in his chest, getting locked by the dangers that the world held, the betrayal. "I know it's a lot to take in, but would you please be my boyfriend?"

The younger opened his mouth to speak, but as he realized he had cried too much and wouldn't be able to speak, he started nodding his head vigorously. And he was suddenly getting pulled in to the most amazing kiss he had ever experienced. It all felt so right, and perfect, there was nobody else he would rather be doing this with. Their lips moulded together as Taehyung asserted his dominance by asking permission to slip his tongue in when it was granted, he quickly won the battle as the younger submissive to him. As they pulled away when their lungs started burning, they were still connected by both the heart and soul.

And yet again, another puzzle piece was discovered, edging closer to finishing it. But this one was bigger, right in the middle and finished that inner part. It had become some sort of labyrinth that he never wanted to end. His life was so perfect but not yet set. There was still a long way to go before finding the way out of the maze, but now there was a difference: he wasn't alone in the journey we call life. And neither was Taehyung who had to spend two years more than Jungkook that would help him to get out the puzzle together, they had the same destination. Their fates would now be intertwined with the others.

Without even registering their thoughts and organizing them, they both dove back in and connected their lips. It was a night that they would never forget, one that they would tell their kids about. An unforgettable moment with the person they knew they would love for the rest of their lives, and there was not a drop of regret after making that decision.

After connecting their lips several times after that, they both silently agreed that they would save the rest for later so it could be memorable. Taehyung felt that Jungkook deserved a night that he would treasure forever, and not rush into it. There was a difference in their behaviour, they felt more territorial over the other. They held each other closer, even though it was only them around. That night was filled with love in the air, adoration palpable. A smile present on both of their faces as they realized that this was it, they were lucky to find each other and they would never let go. The satisfaction of knowing it was all off their chests, that they could show the world how much they loved the other.

There were so many things they wanted to do, but it could all wait. They wanted to savour the first minutes of their relationship without any other crazy thoughts distracting them from their lover. After all, they had each other for eternity.
