warnings : short taehyung, tall jimin, little space, taehyung being smaller and younger than everyone

ATTENTION

jimin's lips curve into a beautiful smile as he sees his baby asleep.
drool coming out of his mouth and a thumb stuck in his mouth, his body curled into a little ball in jimin's strong but warm embrace.
the older lifts his baby up and places him on his lap.

"wakey wakey baby." jimin coos, smothering tae with kisses all over his face.

tae giggles but whines, pushing his face deeper into jimin's neck.
the raven haired male laughs and starts to rock tae.

"stop daddy, taetae still wanna sweep." tae mumbles.

"come on baby, we need to take a shower."

jimin waits for tae to answer.
when he doesn't, jimin pulls tae out of his neck to find him asleep.
the older chuckles and blows raspberry on tae's stomach.
immediately Tae breaks out in soft giggles.

"daddy ~" tae whines.

he stars to rub his eye with his small fist, makes jimin's heart melt at the adorable sight.
tae fists jimin's shirt and hugs his stuffie tightly.

"taetae wanna sweep daddy." tae mumbles, still half asleep.

"baby, guess who's coming today." jimin asks.

"who daddy?"

"jeonggukie is coming for a play date today love." jimin smiles.

tae's eyes shoot open and he drops his stuffie.
he wiggles out of jimin's hold and begins to jump up and down.
the younger then grabs jimin's finger and drags him to the bathroom.

"quick daddy, showew." tae squeals.

jimin chuckles, oh how he loves his very special little.

"daddy! faster!" tae whines.

"i'm coming baby, hold on." jimin chuckles as he goes into the kitchen to prepare breakfast for his baby and for himself.

Simple scrambled eggs and a glass of milk for tae.
for him, an omelette and a glass of fresh orange juice.
the older quickly prepares the breakfast and comes back into the hall.

he smiles as he sees tae already seated and ready to eat.
once he sees his daddy, he makes grabby hands and giggles.
placing the plate and the glass of milk in front of the latter, jimin gives tae a soft kiss on his temples and settles down beside tae.

happily eating, tae gets egg all over his mouth and the table.
jimin chuckles as he eats, watching his baby's actions.
Tae places down his fork and tries reaching for the milk, unfortunately it's too far into the table.

"daddy ~ milky, pwease?" tae asks cutely.

"here you go sweetie." jimin hands the glass over.

tae takes the glass, carefully tipping it over and gulping down the white liquid.
finishing the milk, he places it down on the table and licks his lips.
jimin looks at tae and laughs making the younger pout.

"what?"

"you have milk all over your mouth my little lion cub." jimin picks tae up, placing him on his lap.

tae blushes at the position as he was straddling his daddy.
the raven haired male leans in and captures tae's soft lips in a sweet kiss.
with no hesitation, tae kiss back, wrapping his arms around jimin's neck.
encircling his arms around tae's slim waist, jimin smiles into the kiss.
they pull away with a blushing tae and an amused jimin.

the sound of the doorbell echoes throughout the house and tae perks up.
he leaps off his daddy's lap and runs to the front door.
jimin stands up and goes after him, not wanting his little lion cub to get hurt.

"careful baby, don't run." jimin calls out as he catches up with tae.

opening the door, he's greeted with jin, namjoon and jeongguk.
tae and jeongguk squeals in happiness.
the three older boys looks at their little' sand coo.

"GGUKIE!" tae screams in excitement and leaps into the open arms of his best friend.

jeongguk giggles and squeezes his best friend tightly.
jimin smiles adoringly at them and laughs together with jin and namjoon at the behaviour of the duo.
the brunette finally let's go of Jeongguk and he hugs jin and namjoon.

"hi hyungies!" tae squeals and presents them with his sweetly unique smile.

jin and namjoon could feel their hearts melting at the sight.
tae in an oversized shirt, probably Jimin's, with some shorts, his hair a beautiful mess and an adorable smile on his beautiful face.
yup, everyone was melting at the sight.

"hello tae honey." jin smiles and hugs tae.

"hello taetae." namjoon smiles and kneels to tae's height.

"what time will you guys be coming to pick jeonggukie up?" jimin asks as he takes a hold of jeongguk's hand.

tae sees that action and he immediately goes bonkers.
he wants to hold his daddy's hand, and Jimin is his daddy.
but he lets it slide knowing that his daddy loves him more.

"at about 3, is that okay minnie?" Jin asks.

tae giggles at the nickname. "daddy's name minnie? HAHAHAHHA."

soon, jimin and jeongguk laugh along with tae.
jin and namjoon follow suit as well.
the laughter soon subsides and they bid their goodbye and walk off.

"daddy, look." tae hold up his colouring.

a large dinosaur that tae coloured a bright green.
some colour escaped the lines but it was still good.
his lips curve in a small frown when he doesn't receive an answer from his daddy.

"daddy?" tae mumbles.

his frown deepens at the sight in front of him.
his daddy laughing and smiling with his best friend.
tae pouts and slams his book down as he continues to colour.
slightly looking up, nobody seems to be paying attention to him.

~ time skip : lunch ~

"come and eat boys." jimin shouts.

tae and jeongguk skip downstairs and giggle.
settling down in their seats, the boys squeal at the food.
kimchi.

"thank chu hyungie." jeongguk smiles and hugs jimin.

"thank you daddy." tae smiles.

but he furrows his eyes rows as jimin wasn't paying attention to him.
he was too busy feeding jeongguk to be helping tae.
tae whines and pick up his utensil and starts to eat.

once he was done, he jumps out of his seat and takes his plate to the kitchen.
he washes hit plate and comes back to the hall to find jeongguk and jimin cuddling.
a wave of jealousy and sadness washes over him, pouting he retreats to his bedroom.

"where taetae?" jeongguk asks jimin.

jimin furrows his eyebrows and picks the sleepy little.
walking up the stairs, he could feel jeongguk already asleep.
stepping into tae's room, he smiles at tae already having his nap time.

he places jeongguk down beside tae and tucks him in.
wrapping him in blankets and placing a soft kiss on his forehead.
he also places a soft kiss on his temple and slips out.

~ time skip ~

tae sits up and rubs his eyes.
looking around, he frowns at the empty bed.
he frowns even more when he hears the television on playing paw patrol, tae's favourite, and laughter.

tae jumps out of bed and opens the door.
taking small steps, the little peeks his head into the living room.
his hearts squeezes in sadness as his daddy was there cuddling with his best friend while watching his favourite show.

small crystal tears cascade down his cheeks as the latter slips into the bathroom.
he harshly wipes the tears but they don't stop.
all emotions of hurt and sadness hit him hard.

finally his tears stop, the brunette comes out of the bathroom.
at the exact time, the doorbell rings.
his heart leaps in excitement knowing that Jeongguk will be going home and he'll get his daddy all to himself.
tae also frowns, he loves jeongguk, i mean jeongguk is his best friend.
he's just happy that he won't be ignored.

"how's my little pumpkin?" jin coos at his little.

tae walks into the hallway and towards the front door.
he stand with a little gap between him and his daddy as he watches jeongguk getting kisses and hugs from his caretakers.
jeongguk turns around and hugs tae tightly, tae hugs back but quickly pulls away.

"bye taetae!" jeongguk squeals.

"bye ggukie." tae smiles.

the trio frowns at tae's monotoned reply.
they look at jimin in concern who is also looking at tae.
the brunette waves at his best friend and jin and namjoon and walk back into the house.

jimin waves nervously at the concerned trio and closes the door.
he makes his way to tae's and his bedroom and peeks inside.
there he sees tae's playing with his stuffie in sadness.
walking in, he closes the door softly.
he sits behind tae and places a hand on tae's back.

"baby? what's wrong?" jimin asks.

"nothing." tae mumbles.

he shrugs off jimin's hand and continues to play silently and sadly.
jimin frowns and picks his baby up, placing him in his lap.
tae whines and tries getting out of his daddy's lap but fails so he reluctantly stays.

"baby, tell daddy what he did wrong." jimin says

"d-daddy ignore taetae all day." tae whines.

jimin gasps.
he looks back at today and he finally understands why tae feels this way.
he's been spending too much time with jeongguk that he hasn't payed attention to his special baby.

"oh baby, daddy is so sorry love." jimin frowns, cursing himself.

he hugs Tae tightly and places a kiss on tae's forehead.

"daddy would wathew hug ggukie." tae mumbles.

"hey hey baby. jeongguk isn't the one i love the most isn't he?"

tae shrugs playing with jimin's fingers.
jimin frowns.

"baby, who's the person that i give all my kisses to?"

"t-taetae." tae answers.

"mhmm, and who is the one i cuddle all day?"

"taetae." tae says, trying to stop the smile that's begging to stain his face.

"and who is the one that i buy stuffies for all the time?"

"taetae." tae smiles as he eyes his stuffie collection.

"and who my most precious lion cub?" jimin asks playfully.

"TAETAE!" tae squeals in delight.

jimin chuckles. "there's my baby. The beautiful smile on your gorgeous face."

tae blushes and hugs his daddy tightly. "i love you daddy."

jimin heart warms with love and happiness.
he wraps his arms around tae's waist and placeskisses all over tae's head emitting giggles from the smaller boy.

"i love you too baby."
